Yeah you were able to have the carriage serviced. Repair job took about 4 GP. Anyone of you can pay it or everyone can just subtract 1 GP from their sheet and call it a day.
(Elsara will pay for it. Taken the money off of her sheet already. Not done anything with the reward yet as pending what we're doing with it)
"Hi, Miss Darkwing!" Elsara hurries up to Katherine again. "All sorted now, we've finished the quest for Miss Elise. She paid up straight away, see?" Elsara will hold up the bag of reward money as evidence.
(Elsara's happy to help with any quest the group picks.)
Catherine sees the pouch of gold and makes some notes in her papers. She says, "That's good then. Now you are free to take any of the quests on the board. I should tell you that for our second branch, we will be setting it up in the town of Grubon. As Horace said, it might actually be a good idea to explore around a bit as not all sources of Affectus Uti might be reported to the Guild. Searching ruins and other interesting locations might also yield for more funding in the form of treasure in the event there was none of that foul magic floating around."
"I like the idea of exploring some old ruins " comments Valwarin "Any idea of the old civilitation that were responsible for their creation? " he asks Catherine.
"Then I guess its the old fashion way. Keep an ear out on local legends and so forth, and simply asking around wherever we go." Devarus comments. "For now, unless there are any lasting objections, we're taking the Lost Nobleman Quest next. Cant' very well leave the poor fellow stranded in the deep end for too long now can we?"

"Ooh, I'd love to get into local histories." Elsara pipes up. "Maybe I should grab a spare book from the store before we leave, then I can use it to keep a record of what we find out on our journeys."
Catherine carries out the relevant paperwork and says, "Alright then. You're all set to leave. The lizard carriage which the Guild has now taken ownership of is at the Guild's stables. You can reach it through the main hall, the right door, not the left."
"I'll go grab my things!" Elsara announces, hurrying off back to her room to grab her bag and make sure her other sack with her miscellaneous belongings is ready for when they have their long farewell.
"And I'll... be here, I guess." Devarus grins sheepishly, as the man rarely stepped out of his home without full regalia and ready to act at a moment's notice. Then a thought occurs to him, and after bidding whoever remained a quick "Uh, I'll be back!", the half-drow hurries his way back to his mother's house, hoping to inquire more into the southern forest from her experience. Although if not around or unable to help there, he still bids surprises her with a hug before getting back to the others.

Elsara: You get to the carriage to find that Twinkle Snow and the Racist Horse aren't there. It seems you'll have to buy or rent them separately. Though it's also clear that you have enough gold to do that should you want. 200 GP and you can buy both horses permanently to use as a pack animal or as a mount.
Deva: Selene seems to still be home. She is happy that you decided to pay her a visit before leaving again. She says, "Vandanore? The forest should not be anything that you can't handle. However I will advise you to not cross the Evie river. The closer you get to the Tygon Mountain Range, the thicker, darker and more dangerous the forest will get. Of course with forests as thick and poorly documented as this, I would not be surprised if there are ruins hidden away in there. Do not attempt to cross the mountains. There is a chunk of the island to the far south, past the Tygon Mountain Range that no one has been able to access. The winds are too strong to go over and the sea is too fierce and rocky to go around. The only way to access such a place would be to either find some cave network connecting the two sides of the mountains or for a sufficiently skilled adventurer to climb over the mountains in a great feat of skill. Be careful. I shall be gone by the time you get back as I have to be going once again. This time... I will be gone for quite a while."
Val:The lizards seem to have gone back to normal after being spooked from the last mission. They seem pretty docile thanks to their training and their scavenger nature. Though they do often talk about eating mud.
Runt: The axe still hums when you swing it and seems to trail a dim white glow of light. It's most likely an optical illusion though thanks to the sheer inky blackness of the blade.
Given the group will need to return after completing their rescue mission, Elsara opts to think on the matter for the time being. She'd really like to have her own horse, but if the group is using the carriage to get there for this one, she doesn't want to pull them into unnecessary travels for now. However, she does realise she has been neglecting her archery training for a long time, so would like to go and potentially purchase a longbow and a couple of quivers of arrows.
Elsara purchases the bow and a couple of quivers of arrows, thanking the fletcher before heading back with Val. "Thanks for your help, Mr. Val. I had totally forgot to keep up with my archery practice, mum would be really cross if I didn't." She explains, giving him a friendly hug like she would to a theoretical big brother.
"We cannot allow Ms. Deepmoon to be mad, can we? I will be happy to practice with you"he says "I can go and fetch the arrows in wolf form after we have fired them!" he laughs and puts the rest of the arrows he had bought with his own.
Elsara will return to the guildhall with Val after their recent purchases. "Hmm, maybe I should look at a hip quiver with a sheathe attached in the future." She mentions, looking to the blades on her belt. "It's a lot to juggle."She then looks up to the group. "Okay! Ready for a rescue!"
Knowing full well that as a full blooded elf she did not use the word's 'long' lightly, Devarus looked shock for a good bit, before bowing his head slightly. "I... I understand." He sighs softly, and for a while at least on his part, all is quiet. Then upon steadying himself with a deep breath, he put on a smile and hugged her tight. "Do take care of yourself, Mother. And who knows... maybe we'll wind up bumping into each other out there." He chuckled even when his heart wasn't full into it.
Whenever they break apart, Devarus keeps up the smile and perhaps dawdles for longer than he should with more idle conversation before eventually leaving to rejoin the others. If there's time enough, he'll see about purchasing another 40 bolts, and fills up even the extra spaces in the efficient quiver just to have back up. When he's back with everyone at last, Devarus tries to put a comforting hand on Runt's shoulder and grin, then looks to the others. "I take it everyone is ready? If so, let's go."

When the others reach the stables Valwaryn is already there, tending to the lizards. The elf always seems ready to depart.
"So, we are levaing again. " he says with a smile "Off to our search and rescue mission then.. " he says jumping into the carriage.
