Okay so... I'm moving on now. If anyone has any objections or if anyone wants to look for a specific kind of trinket in the bedrolls, feel free to write it here.
After the short rest, you go to the east hallway.
Compared to the hall with all the paintings, this one is a bit more shabby looking. You assume this part of the building was not open to the public when it was still in operation. This is probably the section which housed the staff quarters and kitchens. The hall way has a 10ft high ceiling and a carpeted floor. Starting from the auditorium door, it goes 50ft East and then goes North for 10ft until it reaches a set of double doors. The east corridor also branches off to the south about 20ft away from the auditorium door. This south corridor is L shaped. It goes 30ft south and then turns 20ft West. The corridor ends in a single door to the west. Ot the east wall of the place where the south corridor turns west is another set of double doors, These doors are thin and are made of metal.
Also all the doors except the thin metal doors have wooden signs on them. From the age of the signs and the fact that they are in Goblin, it's reasonable to assume that the goblins were the ones who made them and put them up.

Gendan isn’t out front like she had been in the past. The spike trap has her utilizing a little more caution. She follows at the flank of whoever decides to take the lead, and is on the lookout for more traps.

"I read somewhere that the adventuring rules are to always start by going left."Elsara says to the group, a little less loud than her normally bouncy self. Based on our position, I guess she'd be pointing towards the metallic double doors in that case. She'll have a look around the area while talking, checking for anything that might have any clues to further their progress.
You don't find anything in the way of clues. However, if you moved hugging the left wall, you'd end up with in front of the signed double doors. Though it's not fully metallic or thin, it does have a lining of gold as decoration.
Elsara will move up to those doors and point at them. "Let's try these ones, and maybe try not to run in and start killing right away?" She is ready to open the doors should people want to follower her "sage advice".
"It may be too late to reason with the goblins now, I doubt they'd want to talk to us." It would be nice if they did, but he seriously doubted that it would be a thing that could happen now. He took up position behind Elsara, ready to go through the doors.

You guys open the door. The room beyond is a 80x30 room. A large table have been toppled over to make a 8ft wall. There is a hobgoblin standing on top of the table. You see another goblin's body from the chest up peaking from behind the table. You assume he's standing on a chair since goblins aren't that tall. Another goblin stands near the edge of the table. You can't see her but you know she's there because she isn't making much of an effort to be stealthy. The goblins appear to have undergone some specialized training. They are able to effectively use equipment that goblins normally can't. The hobgoblin wears a high quality red armor. By design it is scale mail but the material is stronger than any metal. It is not magical however and the shiny red is from red paint. He holds a sword of a intricate design. It has a silvered blade and the design looks like a fusion between a scimitar and a long sword. There are 3 stone chairs toppled over on the ground, making movement difficult (costs extra 5ft movement).
The hobgoblin speaks to you before jumping down behind cover, "So, the mighty adventurers have come. You have murdered my entire clan and now you face their leader and his subordinates."

Elsara has put her sword away and takes a step out, hands faced out to show she is not wielding a weapon. "We don't have to fight."She says, attempting to address the hobgoblin, though he has concealed himself behind the cover of the upturned table. "We can settle this peacefully, without any more bloodshed." She hesitates for a second, recalling that she did indeed kill one of them swiftly not too long ago. "We can use words to resolve this." She looks to the others for a brief second, "Can't we?"
Also possibly have a chance to look around the room to check for any other terrain of note or perhaps hiding enemies beyond the barricade. Perception: 15
