Runt wrecks the Helmed Horror3 with two powerful thunderous swings. With the Helmed Horror in the south group taken out, she moves past Val to the east to block the second group of constructs from swarming the elf. The second group approaches the half orc to try and take her out. The helmed horror4 slashes Runt in the chest twice and the Animated Armor behind it opens a would on Runt's head with the Halberd.
The animated5 moves in close to Val and tries to attack. Val manages to avoid the blade but takes a blow to the head from the Shaft. That hurt but it could have been a lot worse. Two more crossbow bolts fly past him as the Animated Armor6 opens fire.
The literal fire though spreads into the basement and that odd smell gets stronger. Something bad is going to happen next round.
(I think the general consensus is to get out of there. If you disengage and get away, Elsara can hurry past you on her turn and feed you the potion of healing as her action/)
(Oof. Hadn't realized dropping would cost all his movement. But then again, he was doing quite a bit that round.)
As much as Devarus' knees and sides cried out for rest, the Half-Drow could only spare them a few seconds respite. After which it's back on the shoulder for the vampiress as he limps his way to the forest edge and a ways beyond that, as the idea of circling around is abandoned for having lost so much ground. But ever is his intent at the very least to get no further than 50ft at most, if but to better the odds of being able turn around and see if anyone else make it out the building.

Val and Runt knock back and daze the armors that were attacking them and retreat towards the stairs to the balcony that Deva jumped from to escape. Elsara lags behind.
Given Val's taken care of some healing for now, Elsara keeps a hold of the potion for an emergency. She dashes to follow Dev's lead, hurrying towards her companions.
Helmed Horrors 2 and 4, Animated Armor6 is caught in the initial blast. 29 Fire damage. DEX16 save for half: Helmed Horror2: =Doesn't matter= Helmed Horror4: 14 Animated Armor 6: 18
Shrapnel. Val is hit. Take 1 Failed Death save. Elsara and Runt take: 16 Pierce. DEX13 for half

Animated Armor 6 falls into the burning pit. DEX save: Take 5 Pierce + 5 Fire. DEX15 save for half: 17 Helmed Horror4 DEX15 to avoid falling in to the pit. If fail roll another DEX15 or take 2 Pierce + 4 Fire (Half on success): First save: 16
The party moved away from combat and ran to where Deva went. Val was lagging behind and the Helmed Horror4, soon caught up with him. Val got stabbed in the back by the construct and everything went black. With the elf down, the Helmed horror kicked the door to its right to open it, making space for the other armors to move in. The two halberd wielding armors rushed in and moved to the doorway that was just opened. The Crossbow wielding animated armor shot at Runt, the bolts whizzed past the half-orc's head. The other helmed horror, damaged and broken, clanked and dragged itself behind the helmed horror4.
After that it felt like the world went slow for a bit. Whatever was stored in the basement did not like being heated. With an earth-shattering Boom, a massive explosive inferno erupted from the basement. Luckily the party had moved just far enough to avoid the initial explosion. The sturdy armors were all caught in the blast.While most of them survived, Helmed horror2 was obliterated. The explosive force propelled hot wood splinters, pieces of wall and even some metal all around, Runt managed to duck just in time to avoid most of the debris though metal bits still scratched her all over. Elsara wasn't as lucky. She shot full of metal, rock and wood. She was still standing now, in spite of being completely covered in her own blood from all the wounds the shrapnel just caused.
The explosion caused the floor to give out, causing Animated armor2 to fall into a pit of rubble and flame. While it did survive the initial fall, it was now engulfed in flames and on fire.
Helmed Horror 4 fell as well but it managed to grab on to the ledge just in time to prevent falling all the way.
Party's turn. Val on DEATH SAVES. [1 Fail | 0 Success]
Devarus flinched at the boom and eventually stumbled to a stop before turning back towards the source. "What the ffu--My goodness, what was that!? Wa-wait... The others! Why haven't they -- Are they still -- " Several times Devarus tried to formulate the words, but fear would not allow his lips to form the words. Just as he couldn't get his legs to move one way or the other as instinct, training, and helplessness warred within him.
It wasn't as if it would be the first time he ran into a burning building to save a life. And yet... and yet, no amount of impassioned fervor found purchase enough to spur his body to action. At least nothing beyond setting his burden down and taking a few precious seconds to get his longbow in hand readied to at least provide some covering fire should any armored nightmare chased the others out of the building.

(I don't know if Runt can pull Val a little bit closer? I thought he hadn't moved yet based on the map before this turn. Either way, Elsara still has that potion of healing for if something like this happened. She could administer it to him as her action and continue the retreat, assuming Runt and Val can do so also?)
((Val did move. Sadly what happened was that moving through allies costs x2 movement. Because of that he wasn't able to get far enough away from the Armors.
Also Runt can drag Val around. Or if she has a healing potion she can use her action to give it to Val and then book it.))

Not sure of what just happened Val just feels all his body hurts. Seeing the destruction around him and the fire spreading even further he groggily follows Runt towards the exit, Feeling depleted he asks the Mother to heal a little bit of Elsara's injuries as they walk towards the exit and truly hating this place.

Val, if you dash, you draw AoO from two Halberd Armors. Do you do it still? You have 6 HP and 16 AC. One good hit can put you back down to 0.
(Feel free to disengage to get away. Elsara can try and tank one round)
