Runt feeds Val the potion and retreats. Going back she takes an axe to the back but is otherwise fine. She goes halfway up the stairs and finds that it leads to a big burning pit. The explosion blew apart part of the stairs. Elsara is on the upper flight.
It's an L shaped hole with 10ft on the lower side and 5 ft on the upper side. Also I don't see any good way to jump it because of its shape and the fact that the stairs are at a higher elevation. There are walls though so trying to shimmy across via climbing on to the damaged walls can work. They are brick after all and got decently shaken from the explosion.
(( Can Elsara parkour her way down?. Getting some steps back... running and jumping towards the wall, using it to impulse her to the other side of the L and land with us downstairs? She is a bladesinger after all... a nice acrobatics roll could do it? )
(Don't think that's part of the plan for this turn. Elsara's gonna have to cover you all)
Elsara steps between the limping Val and retreating Runt. "Keep going, I'll be with you in a sec." She poises her blade, ready to parry any attacks coming her way, whilst blocking off the animated armaments from their assault on her allies.
(Don't think the map's updated with people moving, but Elsara will stand in front of where Val ends up after his disengage/move and the dodge to give disadvantage on attacks for the round)

Elsara, the explosion has created a hole between you and Runt/Val, separating the two groups. How do you plan on get between Val and Runt?
Waiting on Runt and/or Elsara to explain how they get past the hole because this hole is now stopping them going where they want to: The exit in Val and Runt's case and to Val for Elsara's case.
Runt, with her barbarian strength that defies the logic of her size, leaps up the stairs and vaults over the railing to get next to Elsara. Now what? she asks Elsara. How do we escape fire?

Runt uses her barbaric strength to past the burning hole. Val, you do not have that same strength to auto-succeed in jumping up to the stairs and vaulting over the railing. How do you plan to get closer to the exit when there's a big hole of fire blocking your way?
Elsara how do you plan to get past the Burning hole that is separating you from Val?
((Sorry for leaving this hanging for so long. I'm updating now.))
Botting Elsara. You are now out of initiative.
Elsara quickly tosses a rope from her pack to Val and holds on to one end. Val attempts to use his superior acrobatics to jump the burning pit of death that broke up the stairs in two parts and get to where he needs by bouncing off the wall. He fails... miserably. Luckily the rope being securely held by both Elsara and Runt, doesn't let Val fall all the way. The elf begins dangling over the pit of death. The armors rush to try and give chase but the constructs are stopped by the hole and are not sure how to proceed.
The party isn't out of danger yet. The building won't last much longer.
Enough was enough. Seeing no signs of the others, Devarus once more lifted his burden, and trudged his way back until no more than 15ft within the tree line. From there he hoped to have greater odds of seeing the party, and would readily shout for them the moment he spotted any leaving the building. But knowing he could do little more than that in any timely fashion, he knelt down and settled in to wait once more, hoping beyond hope that the others would make it through.

Muttering a thanks to the Mother for the rope and the strength of the muscles of his friends, Val tries to climb up the rope and reach the other side so they can finally that death trap of a place.
The party runs up the stairs and gets to the balcony as the house is collapsing. To get out of the house though, they need to jump off a balcony which is 3 stories high. What do you do?
Elsara jumps off the balcony. Acrobatics: 12 -This fails-
Fall Damage: 14
Val falls to the ground. While he would have managed to perform the roll perfectly, the ground was uneven and hard. Val hit it and instantly lost consciousness. (Even with half damage, this knocks val out) Elsara fails the proper landing and lands hard on her arm, possibly breaking it. Runt splats on to the ground and breaks her nose but her barbaric might keeps her too angry to faint.
The building is about to collapse. If the party keeps standing there they might get caught in the smoke cloud. Val meanwhile is mortally wounded and things might get really bad for him if he isn't treated soon. Deva watches his companions crash on to the ground.
With each fall witnessed Devarus flinched, cringed, and even "Ooh!"'d in sympathetic pain. Yet he felt a surge of relief seeing everyone had made it out, only to then see that feeling snuff seeing Val fail to get up once more. All semblance of decorum, confidence, and even that little bit of fear for his own life melted away as he tore across the space to reach the fallen.
"Quickly now! Quickly! To the Trees!" He urges the others as he bodily lifted Val up onto a shoulder in a fireman's carry. A twinge of pain in his leg and back reminds him again of his previous fall, nevermind the other countless injuries that had yet to be treated by the former guardsman. But with a grunt of determination he pushed past the pain to try and get back to the treeline in a hurry. A thought went towards the potion on his person. But fearing time to be too much of the essence, he hadn't the will to stop and feed the druid such until they at least reached their destination.
(OOC: Not sure how much the usual action economy matters at this point, but assume Dev uses every bit of it -- BA - Improved Fall included -- to get to Val and start getting him away from the building pronto! With the witch's staff too, assuming Vax dropped that or hadn't had it slung onto his back or something.)
