This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC: Thought I posted this days ago, but of course it didn't go through. -__-)
When no answer had been more swiftly given and in remembering time to be of the essence, Devarus sighs and turns on the back entrance. "Guess we're going in from the bottom. Which may or may not be for the best anyways -- Ms. Ruu? If you could help me here." The Half-Drow, after a bit of shoulder rolling to prepare himself, took up position by the door. "On Three. One... Two... Three!" He exclaimed just before charging into the door(preferably alongside Ruu).
((Sorry for the delay . Got a bit busy for the past few days))
Deva manages to ram through the door. As he does so, he hears the sound of the wooden bar used to keep the door shut breaking. The door opens and Deva falls on the ground. Beyond the door is a short area with a door on the west wall, 5ft away from the door Deva just fell through. The hall goes about 10ft to the east and then ends in a wall. Near that east end, on the north wall is an archway going into another room.
(OOC: Your'e good, Zulk. Although I wished /I/ was better about posting promptly.)
A flustered Devarus rises to his feet, though not without a mutter complaint about his arm and back. Nevertheless, once on his feet again, the man immediately draws a blade, strode further into the hall, and tried to listen out for any echoing responses to the break-in.
Although regardless of all being deemed clear or not, he motions for the others to follow inside at the very least while he went over to the door for a peek into the adjoining room or hall. It's only once secure in the knowledge of nothing lurking at least nearby that he whisper to the others, "It's perhaps best we sweep the levels, but such a noisy entrance is bound to be noticed. So, we should focus on ascending or descending fairly quickly. Preferably the latter if we should find the means first, but either or would suffice."
"Wh-what? No I--" Devarus turned back to Runt with furrowed brows for a second, before his eyes then widen. "Oh! No no no. I meant we should move swiftly from this point on and ascend quickly where we can. For as I said, our entrance was a bit on the loud side, and our target's senses far too honed more than likely that I wouldn't be surprised if they hadn't somehow heard us enter the grounds already." At that, and assuming none of the others hadn't already done so, Devarus takes point on heading for the archway and through it after a peek around the corner revealed no immediate threat to worry over.
Only after which did he motion for the others to fall in after him.

As Deva gets closer to the archway he starts smelling a strange smell. It was stinky yet earthy. It did not smell very good. Past the archway is a second small hallway with a door on the west end, a different archway leading to another room on the east and a last narrow archway on the north wall to the west of Deva that leads to yet another room. It's not clear what these rooms look like without getting closer.
Although tempted by the door... very tempted at that, Devarus opts instead to motion for whoever intended to be at the back of the bus to keep an eye on it as he led the way to the first archway. "What is that stench?" He couldn't help murmuring and tighten the grip on his weapon. In spite time being of the essence, he hadn't so much rushed to the first archway for a peek, but neither had he been quiet about it. If nothing also came of looking past the northern archway first, he'd grumble and more at a clipped pace make for the next one in short order.

The north archway leads to the kitchen. This is where the stench is strongest. Armoatic herbs are left chopped in a heap larger than any one dish should require. In front of the cutting board is another skeleton on the floor. This one is dressed in chief's clothes. The ovens and stoves have been put out though the red glow of embers still remains. Various covered pots are on the stove. Steam escapes from the sides of the lids. The stench seems to be coming from these pots. There are large windows in the kitchen to have it well lit as well as hanging lamps to provide light after sundown. In the kitchen there's a set of double doors going deeper into the building at the north wall.
The other archway leads to a smaller room with shelves containing plates and silverware. There's another small door on the west of this room, closer to the south wall.
"Somebody is definitely here, and perhaps even left in a hurry." Devarus muttered just loud enough to be overheard by others. Although he half a mind to dimisses both extending doors as he figured them to lead to either more storage spaces or servants dining area, the half-drow wasn't one to leave a stone overturned wholly for the sake of expediency. So he leaves the kitchen to Val and possibly the rest to more thoroughly explore while he tried the door past the plate room to see what lay beyond it.

The door in the plate room leads to a small marbled washing area to wash plates. The place is a small outdoor area that's enclosed by four walls. A small well is at the far end of this room that supplies water for washing the plates.

The west door lead only to a tiny storage closet. There was still the archway and wherever that lead.
