DM: Val are you sure you want to attack Skiirod?

Val's words seem to hit Evans. He goes quiet for a while. "You're.." He looks around at his fallen goblins. And at the unconscious Elsara and Folki. "... What would you do if you were in our, in my place?"

Vladimir looks at Evans and says, "Commander? What are you saying?" "I know what I'm doing, Vlad. He's... right."

(OOC: Oh my! No no... the remaning goblin! ) 

Val enters the room and runs towards the fallen aaracokra, trying to bandage him up.

” I would have tried by all means necessary to communicate with the villagers to trade and buy tools to work the land from them. Do you know how valuable are those armors?” He says while working on Folki.

(I am a bit confused here I guess that this action will be in my next round for this one I just talked and attacked the goblin attacking Skiirod. Writing with a 10 months years old baby crawling over your chest  is not as easy as it could seems ;) ) 

DM: I don't know if I should say this as a DM but... You just scored a 3rd chance at negotiations. Since by game-logic, talking costs literally nothing, I'm changing up your previous turn a bit if you don't object.

The previous turn, Val moves to Z4 and patches up Folki (Medicine: 18) He talks to Evans.

"I tried that. They didn't want to have anything to do with Goblins."

Folki is stable and will regain consciousness in 4 Hours.

(It’s ok He wouldn’t have attacked if they stopped. And following the initiative order I think Folki would have to roll his third ST and he has 2 failures... ) 

“Then you try to communicate to show them that you are not a menace to them. I can start the talks if you want, it won’t be easy, but as the rain always finds a way to join the river into the its journey to the ocean, we will find a way. If your intentions are true you will succced” 

He tries to stabilize Elsara (Medicine: 25 ) then he goes for the goblin he downed with his arrow ( Medicine: 16 ) 

(EDIT: we should wait for the others... I Am sure that they have something to say too.. You have the rolls for Val’s next rounds of medicine to heal the wounded. If there is someone more... please roll if I am not around :) )

Evans goes silent again. (According to the edited turn, Val never fired the arrow so no Goblin was hurt) Sekai looks at Evans with a look of worry on her face. "Commander? What's wrong?" Evans shakes his head. "Nothing."

 OH you meant Gonzales. I thought you shot to kill.

Also, Elsara is stable and will regain consciousness in 3 Hours.

Gendan points her sword at Evans and moves laterally, always facing him, to W2 (to be in pincer position).

Gendan points her sword up near his neck and readies an attack if he does anything besides speaking.

Well you got 24 in Medicine so I'll allow it. Val manages to preserve Gonzales' life.

Evans sees Gendan and says, "Intimidation doesn't work on someone who has accepted death."

(I want to allow others to continue the dialogue here, but Gendan really wants to run him through. Gendan’s readied action remains in effect.)

Even without the commander's command, Vlad and Sekai take are ready to strike down Gendan should she do something funny.

Vlad has a clear shot at you from your position. Sekai inched to X4 the same way you moved to W2. They did not attack you (yet).

Do I get partial cover from Evans in X3 then, since she’ll have to reach around him with the lance to get to me?

Normally yes, but because of the diagonal cover rule, you don't get cover in this case. When I wrote the extra rules, I forgot about 10ft weapons. However, if the diagonal cover rules work when the attacker is in an adjacent square, it should also work if the target is in an adjacent square.

As mad as Gymgiel wants to be at the situation and circumstances, he just acquiesce that Val has a point, and will go about helping those injured indiscriminately as well. Medicine: 18

Unfortunately, the remaining goblin is beyond saving.

Gymgiel sadly puts his healer's kit away as he closes the eyes of the goblin he was working on. "I don't suppose yeh can. But, then, I am from the village. I would be the most likely to turn yeh over, sell yeh out. So, I propose I stay here with yeh while Val gets the rapport goin' like they said."
