You have been traveling for an hour now. The sky has now gone very dark and you hear the sound of thunder in the distance. A strong wind has started to blow. You feel the strong winds blowing dust into your face and you see the trees of Vandanore forest move with the wind. It looks like waves on a green sea. A storm is coming.
MAP:
Your position is 1st Column, 2nd Row.
Your vision is lightly obscured for up to 15 ft and heavily obscured beyond that. This is due to strong winds and darkness, so dark vision will only cause everything to be lightly obscured for up to 60ft.
Gym studies the sky for a moment. "Looks like an actual storm this time. Mayhaps we should bunker down."

"Ohh, I don't wanna get caught in a storm." Elsara says slightly grumpily. "Can't we stay under the tree cover while it's raining?"She points to the nearby forest.
Elsara recoils, backing away from the tree on fire. "Not that tree!" she says in a panic. She looks over to make sure that Gabby is okay in this storm.
I realize a dirt hole in the ground doesn't sound accurate to what I had in mind. It's like a cave but the entrance is on the ground instead of at the side of a rock surface.
(I'm guessing that folki is still out hunting when this hits.if so he will try to make it back before the storm hits or land and hunker down if he can't)
The storm is pretty hard to miss. However, It's only been one hour so Folki shouldn't be hunting yet. If he was however, the storm would cut off his vision, effectively separating him from the party. And Folki can't find shelter either.
Folki, the storm is coming and the branches of the trees are rocking back and fourth. You don't have dark vision so you can't see anything beyond 15 ft. What will you do?
One question: How are you going to go down the cave? It's a 50ft drop and Folki's not here.
Another flash followed by another boom. You start to feel the wind carrying water droplets. You can feel the wet gust against your body. It's going to start pouring in about 5 mins
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Elsara gets disadvantage because wind (Gendan didn't because she was looking down into a hole where there isn't any wind. Val didn't get disadvantage because facing the conditions imposed by the storm is also a part of Survival). 7
With her dark vision she finds a strong tree that she can tie her rope to.
Gabby looks at Elsara tying the rope and says, "Good thinking."
Elsara measures out the distance from the tree to the hole before tying it around the trunk. She wanders back to the others. "We might need to tie another rope to this one." She holds the other end (assuming there's about 20ish feet of rope used to tether to the tree and get back to the hole)

"Ohh, I don't wanna get caught in a storm." Elsara says slightly grumpily. "Can't we stay under the tree cover while it's raining?" She points to the nearby forest.
Val finds a dirt hole in the ground. I missed the edit.
Suddenly, the sky lights up and you hear a deafening boom as a bolt of lightning strikes a tree and it catches fire.
Elsara recoils, backing away from the tree on fire. "Not that tree!" she says in a panic. She looks over to make sure that Gabby is okay in this storm.

Gabby doesn't seem bothered by the storm too much. The sky lights up again and you hear the deafening sound of thunder again.

Perception : 6 (for noticing storm)

That is... if he went out hunting.
Let's have some fun, he left to hunt around half an hour after leaving the village
(also guessing using the survival roll you made for hunkering Down? Folkis been wandering for a while, he's good in the wild)
“We can go to that little cave for refugee during the storm “ Val points the place to the others and heads towards it.

“Yes, let’s have a look.” Gendan peers into the cave, making sure it’s not already occupied or rigged with traps.

The cave seems to be a 30x30 space with a 50ft drop. This entrance probably leads to a larger cave space.
Folki, the storm is coming and the branches of the trees are rocking back and fourth. You don't have dark vision so you can't see anything beyond 15 ft. What will you do?
Elsara will huddle up with Gabby as the group goes to investigate the cavern in the ground.

Elsara checks to see if there is anywhere nearby that would suffice as a good point to tether her rope to so they can abseil down.
