Gym is taken in by the majesty of such creatures, and is rather excited to be a part of this expedition. Even if the pegusi are only taking them a short ways. "Grand! Its rare to be treated to somethin' such as this!"

"Do they have to wear special blinkers when there's high winds?" Estala asks as she stops petting the pegasi. She's internally thinking of names for them if they turn out to not have been named. "I bet it would be hard on the eyes if it was nasty weather outside... Kinda like how it is now." If it is time to depart, Estela will load herself and her pack into the carriage.
Catherine nods and points to the horse blinders. Upon closer inspection, it is seen that the blinders are fitted with clear glass to prevent dust and insects from getting into the horses' eyes while flying.
Soon Horace shows up and helps the party board the coach before boarding himself. He fastens his seat-belts and helps others to do the same. He says, "You'd do well to secure yourselves. Catherine has that look in her eyes."
Before take off, Catherine fastens her own seat-belts and shouts, "Everyone ready?" She then looks back at Folki who is clutching the railings. She smiles and says, "You have more guts than I give you credit for. Don't fall off!" She rotates a handle and two large wings made of cloth and light wood which were folded at the sides of the carriage extend. She cracks the whip and gives the 3 sets of reins a shake. The pegasi start running and soon take off. The vehicle glides through the blue skies like an arrow, wind rattling the windows of the couch. "Wooohooo!" Catherine shouts. She clearly enjoys flying so fast through the sky. The strong winds ruffles Folki's feathers and is giving him a good push.
At one point Catherine speeds up more and spins through the air twice. Folki has to grab the railings with his hands and legs tightly to prevent falling off.
Elsara will laugh childishly as the carriage soars through the air, akin to how one enjoys a roller coaster. "I didn't know flying was so fun. I wanna learn to fly when I'm older!" She says with youthful delight.
Gym's enthusiasm for the pegasus carriage ride fades quickly as he finds out that he gets severe motion sickness from flying and has to lay back and think of solid land for a while.

After the initial thrill of the tumbling through the sky, Elsara attempts to extract her spellbook from her pack to revise through, etching some of the blank sheets further back with inspiration during the flight.
(Levelled up to level 2. Selected level up abilities. Assuming we're going with fixed HP so left as-is. If we know the general duration of the trip that we'll be taking, Elsara would use a spell slot for mage armor and use the time to recover the slot with Arcane Recovery if this is permissable, and probably be a couple of hours into the spell's duration)

(Ready to head off whenever you are. Also Skiirod said he was doing morning prayers before headed off)
Catherine says, "So Folki, you gonna get on top of the chariot or ride inside with the others?"
A now very grumpy Folki plods towards carriage and throws his bag in before jumping up onto the roof, his large feet clinging onto the railings.

(It's less guts more pure stubborness :) )
(can folki move at all with out being torn off? I want him to lean through the window to respond)
Folki can't move but the others can still hear him.
"WELCOME TO MY WORLD GUYS!....... WOOOOOOOOOHEEEEEEEEEE"
Folki lets out an loud, exhilarated cry, his voice a mix of human and hawk.
Also, the flight is 4 hours long and within that time, everyone gains 1XP (LEVEL UP!) from Catherine's reckless flying.
When 3 or more people are ready, I will advance the story forward.
(How do we update our hp for the level up?)
[OOC] Gym has been updated to level 2.
Gym's enthusiasm for the pegasus carriage ride fades quickly as he finds out that he gets severe motion sickness from flying and has to lay back and think of solid land for a while.
