Elsara thinks for a second, then looks to Gabby. "Umm... We're heading out again after only just returning. You think you'll be okay on your own here? Well, Ian is around, and he makes really nice food."
Gabby smiles and says, "Everyone is understanding here... I'll be fine."
Catherine snickers again at Folki's comment. "You might want to re-think your statement once you see the carriage." She then turns to the rest of the party and says, "Alright. Why not get your things prepared? We're leaving at 8 AM."
"I'll go let the others know!" Elsara skips off to knock on people's doors to wake them up and get them to start having breakfast/readying gear before it is time to leave.
Elsara will then repack her belongings, keeping sure to have any special things securely wrapped up inside. After her backpack is properly packed, she will head downstairs to wait for the others, continuing her scimitar training as she waits around.
Catherine heads up to her room to get ready for the party. Gabby sees Elsara practice and says, "You know... I.... Learned how to use the scimitar back at base. If you want... I could... Give you a few pointers..."
"Really?" Elsara says excitedly. "That'd be great! I didn't really get a chance to learn how to use weapons properly at the library, so I'm playing a bit of catch-up on training with them."Elsara will be enthusiastic and eager to hear critiques to her learning of the swordplay.
Gabby takes out her own scimitar and tells Elsara about the lessons she got from the other goblins. She shows her an offensive and defensive stance. Gabby says, "Since we Goblins are small creatures, all our tactics might not be viable for you." Elsara and Gabby practice with the scimitar for 3 hours.
(Also, waiting on Skiirod, Folki, Gym and Val to say what they think and what they will do for the 3 hours.)
"Oh uh... Yeah." Gabby is caught off-guard by the sudden delivery of Folki's advice. The fact that Gabby already knew what Folki was advising only increased her confusion more.
Elsara is pretty short, even for an elf, so seems to enjoy these tactics for overcoming taller targets. "Wow, you're really good at this, Gabby. Thanks for showing me this. Hopefully it'll help us save people in the future." She'll give Gabby a hug just before they are set to depart.
Valwarin, who was watching the storm across one window, will observe the training exchange between Gabby and Elsara. He looks down to his hip, where his scimitar rests, and ask to himself why the other elf didn't ask him to teach him. She was a weird and cheerish elf that one, so he didn't think twice on it and go back to contemplate the storm, feeling its energy filling the sky and breaking the barrier between the sky and the earth each time a lighting crosses the air. When the time to part again arrives he will be ready and walk silently at the other's side.
Gendan did not sleep well last night. Her dreams were haunted with fiends taunting her about her inability to progress. She’s still just a simple bounty hunter who can’t even defeat an elf wizard in a sword fight.
The sight of Elsara and Gabby sparring only makes this worse. Gendan just wants to get out there and kill whatever is attacking the sheep.
At 7:50 AM, Catherine steps out of her room and says, "Let's get to the carriage. It would take a few minutes to ready it so let's leave now so we can take off at 8." Catherine is dressed for the occasion. She is wearing an expensive white silk dress and gloves. She is also wearing a pearl necklace. The dress is backless so her wings are sticking out from the back more easily as she didn't have to cut extra holes for them. Her skirt reaches down to her ankles. It slightly parts to one side. She tells all of you to follow her and goes outside.
You are taken to the back of the building where you see a large stable. Catherine tells you to wait and goes inside. Later she brings out a large carriage with two pegasi at the front and two more pegasi at the sides. The winged horses seem different from normal pegasi. They are specially bred to be much stronger and faster than the average winged horse. You could even call them War Pegasus. The carriage itself has much stronger wheels and a unique design compared to normal carriages. The metal parts of the carriage seem to be made of mostly Mithral with slim Iron stakes offering it support. The use of wood and mithral make the carriage much lighter than a normal one. The wood is painted a dark violet while the metal parts are painted golden. Catherine is sitting on the drivers seat. She brags, "These carriages are only reserved for Rurik Union High-ups! This baby can cross a day's travel on road in two hours. She smiles mischievously at Folki and says, "Still want to fly to the destination by yourself?"
"Wow, Miss Darkwing. Your dress is really pretty." Elsara says as she sees Catherine turn up in her formal wear. "It's like you stepped out of a storybook as the beautiful princess!" Upon seeing the coach and the pegasi, Elsara seems to gasp in admiration and awe. "Oh my gosh, pegasi!" She says, rushing over to inspect them. "I've never seen one in person before, they're so pretty!"
(The reason Elsara hasn't trained with Val is because he didn't offer, whereas Gabby did. She was quite content with self-tutoring up to that point)
Oh, DM, in the report I will also note the charater bios of Evan's remaining people and their specialities, as well as that I have an artefact of their craft should they wish to inspect it and potentially commission some off of them.
Catherine lets out an embarrassed laugh at Elsara's compliment. She rubs the feathers of her right arm with her left hand and says, "Don't flatter me like that. It'll go to my head."
Upon Elsara's excitement at the coach, the dark Aarakocra says proudly, "This thing is the pride and joy of the Council's R&D team. They even have a larger variant for combat. Yep! You won't see the guys over at Ervo or Regle use anything like this!" The white pegasi don't mind Elsara.
(if by artifact of their craft, you mean the thing your goblin friend gave you, then Catherine would take a look at it, determine it's not dangerous and not worth further study and hand it back to you.)
Elsara lightly strokes the side of the nearest pegasi. "They're so pretty... This place is awesome!" She says to herself, a little caught in the moment of seeing another thing from her fairy tales.
First, this coach was made to be surprisingly light and was designed to fly fast through the air. Moreover, the pegasi were bred to be stronger and faster than a wild pegasus. Both of these combined make the vehicle as a whole 6 times faster than Folki.

You have 3 hours of down time.

Since folki is up and ready he will join elsara and gabby, even showing gabby how to use her small size to her benefit
Skriiod will probably go and say his prayers of thanks to Bahamut.

"most people will underestimate you because you are smaller...... If they do, they've already lost"

(DM: how much faster is the coach than Folki flying? i can't imagine a fully laden coach with 7 people in it would be twice his speed)
