Gendan agreed with Elsara, “Yes, and should we notify a local mayor or town master about the estate? Maybe that’s how we get paid.” After a moment, she says, “On second thought, we’d likely be primary suspects in what went down, so maybe just heading back to the guild is best.”
Watching the others start looking around, Elsara sighs. "I guess we should search for clues and maybe try and get some rest before we go."She says. She'll help in looking around for things, but eventually go off to meditate and hopes to clear her mind a bit.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gendan, Elsara and Folki, you don't find anything out of the ordinary. The only thing that seemed to be connected to the case was the angel statue which is already in Elsara's position.
The two of you find the following:
In Jay's Room: A large locked chest, A few locked drawers, some clothes, a single fancy dress for special occasions, an expensive suit which probably belonged to Jay's husband, a bunch of family photos. You also find a set of keys. Two of the keys opened the previously locked chests and drawers. The chest had various documents such as house deeds. It also had money and jewelry. Among them, a pouch containing 210gp is also present. It was probably set aside to pay you guys. The drawers contained more jewelry. The value of the money is 3 PP 1 GP 8 SP 3 CP. The total value of Jewelry is: 1 PP 2 GP 20 SP
In Jay's Son's Room: You find another set of locked drawers and another set of keys. There are also a bunch of books that cover different subjects. It seems the boy wanted to be a scholar. In his locked drawers you find his diary, all 10 of them. You also find 1 GP 5 SP 3 CP
In the other locations: You don't find anything of value. Just knickknacks.
In the Cellar: You find some bottles of cheap wine. You also find: 1 Leather Armor, 1 Longbow, 1 Longbow, 30 Arrows, 1 Battle Axe, 3Hand axes
(DM: Gendan would remember that the loot found in the Goblin Hideout didn't sell for much due to being in poor condition. However, if you find loot that is in better condition, it will sell for more. The condition of equipment doesn't really effect their usefulness; only their resell value. Whenever an equipment is written in purple it means that it is almost new. Red means that the equipment can be repaired and then sold. Black means the shopkeeper will use the equipment to get raw materials. Resell value of Purple equipment is the highest; then Red and then Black.)
(OOC: Liking the whole item condition thing, though I would suggest swapping red and black. I definitely read an item being red as being broken and black as being normal.
Think: purple = new, great!; black = useful but wont sell for much; red = only take if definitely need it)
(Okay. All 3 types of items give the exact same benefits though. The actual value is: Purple = slightly less than the cost listed in PHB. Red = Half of what's listed in PHB. Black = The 1% thing Gendan experienced when she tried to sell the Goblin loot. I picked red so that it stood out more. How about I swap red for Orange instead?)
In reference to the pouch, “I think we can justify taking our payment. Maybe we just take it to the guild first before distributing, to make sure the guild is alright with it.”
Gendan also pops open a bottle of the cheap wine. “They definitely won’t be needing this.” She takes it back to the common area and takes a swig right from the bottle.
”I’m not sure if we should be looting the place just yet, but there’s a pretty nice bow and an axe that seems to be in pretty good condition up there.”
"Nothing weird out there............. what did you find here?"
When Gendan says her piece he replies
"Yeah the payment's fine to take........... Did she have any family or anything for the rest? ............. if we leave it here ...... it's just going to be taken by thieves"

"Well, I am quite hungry"
So... What are you guys going to do?
Elsara was waiting for people to say what to do about the sheep.
"We could take them with us." Elsara suggests.
(beasts of burden!)
“Do you think the Guild will have a use for them?”
PbP Character: A few ;)
"Umm..." Elsara looks out of the window. "If the guild doesn't, we could take them to a farmer to live on their farm."
Gendan agreed with Elsara, “Yes, and should we notify a local mayor or town master about the estate? Maybe that’s how we get paid.” After a moment, she says, “On second thought, we’d likely be primary suspects in what went down, so maybe just heading back to the guild is best.”

(So... you're not going to search the house?)
"something like this doesn't jsut happen ......... there must be a source.......... we can't jsut leave"
(Elsara would rather get info to someone first, then maybe come back for clues. Though if the others want to search around and loot, feel free :-) )
Gendan will walk the house but not touch anything yet. She’s particularly interested in any weapons or armor she might find.

The druid will help the rest looking for more clues.
7 per investigation.
“The idea of selling the sheeps to a farmer sounds good to me.”

Elsara won't take anything else. If the others want to, she won't be stopping them.
