Vearl roars to the bandits as they flee. Once they are away he turns and growls and nods to Elsara. He kneels to hel her lifting the uncounscious aaracokra to his back, and they go back to the others. Once the barbarian is resting he will keep watch as the others treat their wounds.
( Val is at 7/17 but I guess that the others are worse. We are getting a short rest don’t we? He will use HD to raise the HP )
(Gendan is at 15/19 HP, so not in need of any healing magic.)
“Thanks for the healing. That ambush really was something. I turned around and Gym was already surrounded, then knocked out. I don’t remember much after that. Did we get all of them?”
(Since this was, in all honesty, a random encounter gone wrong, whether you get a short rest or not is up to you. You guys can rest for an hour for a short rest or 8 hours to get a long rest.)
You guys decide what you want to do now, who to heal who not heal and any other RP stuff coming your way. I'll just post a description of the place you guys are in and tell you the time.
Summer 18 Time: 4:10 PM
The road is now empty save for the corpses of the bandits you killed. The red blood lets off a slight pinkish hue as the golden sun bathes the road and the forest in a soft yellow light. You can hear chirping of birds and the sound of crows as they begin gathering on the branches of the nearby trees, waiting for you to leave so that they can feast on the dead. The sheep are munching on the grass and the large, red-barked tree still lays across the road.
Elsara shakes her head. "There were too many, but they ran away." She tells Gendan. She then looks to the unconscious Folki, who is atop the bear form Val. "I think we need to find somewhere to rest."
(Perhaps a survival roll to find somewhere with some cover to look after them? Folki won't be able to start a rest anyway until his regain consciousness is done, which is an hour anyway.)
Elsara looks to a nearby area with some trees. "I could set up some alarms in case they come back." She gestures to between the trees. There are other openings, but it is a start.

I'm just going to rule this as the result of the Survival check. Elsara finds a nearby area among the trees.
Gym will use his Cure Wounds on Elsara, Skiirod and Folki.
Elsara: 8 Skiirod: 8 Folki: 13

Elsara watches the magic of Gymgiel knit the wounds back together. "Thank you." She says as she feels her own throat recovering (there might possibly be a scar there, based on how bad that attack was on her). She will use prestidigitation to remove the blood from herself and others is they wish before setting up the alarm as mentioned above. "I wonder why bandits were so far off the beaten path. I didn't think there were any towns nearby so taking coin wouldn't be better than taking food and provsions, right?"
(If a short rest, will use Arcane Recovery to regain a 1st level spell slot)
A little correction. You guys aren't off the beaten path. You are on the main road. It's just that the main road passes through Moonglow forest. Though it is true that there aren't any towns nearby. In fact, you need to take this path if you need to get to Syridin region in the north or the Zyphos region in the west.
The attack on Elsara did 9 damage on crit. Whether or not that would leave a permanent scar is up to the player.
(Minimum of the short rest, will discuss IC about staying longer)
"Yeah, I'm okay." Elsara says, looking concerned for the aarakocra. "Are you okay? We found you beaten up after chasing the bad guys. We were working out whether to have a nap before carrying on, but if you're okay to carry on we will head off."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The bear will saty close to the group guarding them as they rest and heal. Just walking around the improvised camp or sitting near the fallen tree and using it to scracth his back.
Elsara's only wound it the nasty gash in her neck, which she instinctively covers with her spare hand, blood staining her hand and top of her dress.
(OOC: Elsara's HP is currently 5/14)
Skriiod has a nasty slash on his back.
(OOC: Skriiod is on 5/20 hp.)

5/6 Players have posted so I'm going to move the story forward a bit.
How long do you plan to rest?
Folki bolts upright as gym heals him, spitting hairs out his beak.
”....plh.....everyone ok?!.... Is Elsie safe!?”
There's a panicked look in his eyes as he searches around to find everyone.
He finds himself on top of a bear.
(Minimum of the short rest, will discuss IC about staying longer)

Is no one going to search the bodies?
(Not really Elsara's thing. She was going to search for her own things, but didn't lose anything in the end)
