Seeing that the arrow that she tried to knock Bart off balance with had little effect on the massive dragonborn, Sae pulls the weighted silk scarf from around her neck with the hand that she was holding ready to draw another if the first had shaken him more. She twirls the scarf around her head and flings it at his ankles, aiming to entangle them and trip him up as he continues his assault on Sayyida and Areleo.

Still, it seems that he doesn't like being flanked by the two warriors and the rogue... so he uses his action to make 2 attacks with his burning scimitar, one to try to fell Sayyida and the other against Areleo. Then he uses his bonus action to cast misty step to get himself into a slightly better strategic position... specifically, somewhere close enough that he can move up to the halfling who is currently working some strange voodoo on him...
Movement: Bart uses his (reduced thanks to Tentacle of the Deep) 20 ft of movement to get as close as he can to Emrys for his follow-up attack next turn...
Combat tracker:
Emrys: undamaged, concentrating on hex Areleo - 38 damage (taking into account his resistance to Slashing damage) Sae - undamaged Sayyida - 30 damage... unconscious, dying - Bart - 41 damage, target of hex. Movement speed slowed by 10 ft until the start of Areleo's next turn. - Wade - undamaged

Wade is up!
(Side note: Bart already used his reaction for the round to cast shield; if Wade wants to move then he is safe from an Attack of Opportunity)
Lastly, as he helps revive Sayyida, he will say to Bart "Hey! What a dishonorable way to select and engage your crew. Are you a leader or just a big thug who gets his jollies off?"
Wade, having vented his frustration that had weld up inside him for years, feels for the briefest of moments better and relieved, then realization comes crashing down as he waits for the coming beat-down.
with that attack, Areleo is actually down too because the first round of attacks was 38 damage and now with this round, it is 8+4= 12 damage which would drop him after his 7 damage.

TOP OF ROUND 3 Bart, as it turns out, is absolutely terrifying. Sayyida gasps as Wade's spell brings her back from the brink. You're starting to get the distinct feeling that the way this usually works is most of the captured crewmen die and whoever is left standing gets to join the pirates...
The hulking pirate is still being protected by his shield until the start of his turn...
Friendly reminder that you guys are under the effects of bless and that I do use flanking rules, so if you can get people on either side of Bart you should get advantage on your attack rolls.

Emrys, Areleo, Sae, and Sayyida are up (in any order)!
Sae considers trying to read the hulking black dragonborn's thoughts to predict his next action; but quickly realizes how redundant that would be as Bart disappears in a cloud of putrid green mist and reappears within striking distance of Emrys. Only a fool could mistake the charge of one spellcaster to try and shut down another, and Sae is no fool. She quickly grabs the nearest arrow from her quiver and lines up a shot that she hopes will break his concentration on whatever magical mischief he is planning next. Just as she is about to fire, she notices she had forgotten to clear the fire arrows out of her quiver, and the shaft she holds now is lovingly packed with a neat little care package of pitch and tow just below the point. She grins. "Hey lucky boy, let's see if your dragon mother mated with a randy red before she had you!," she yells as she ignites the tow and firex, hoping to goad Bart into the rashness of a being ruled by their rage.

Longbow attack: 25 Damage if successful: 4
sneak attack (Emrys within 5') damage: 2
fire damage: ? (can't remember what your ruling was for fire arrow damage on an individual target; I'll look it up and quote-edit it in after I get the main pos safely launched)
...and I definitely want to quote-preserve that nat 20 before the forum dice gremlins spot it. Hail Tymora and Beshaba!

I think my ruling on single-character bonus damage for flaming arrows was that it's an extra d4 fire damage.
Roll your extra die for the critical hit!

( Excellent! Crit damage 10; fire damage 4. If you want a roll for the taunt, it looks like all Sae's applicable abilities would default to the same roll, CHA +1 (20) )

No need to burn an Inspiration or roll for the taunt. Even if he used shield the javelin would have still hit thanks to the bonus from bless
The stench of burning flesh fills the air as Areleo's magical javelin of lightning strikes him. Bart staggers back with a roar of frustration... just in time to see Sae aiming her bow at him. He doesn't have time to react before she lets the arrow loose... and it pierces deep into the soft flesh of the dragonborn's throat
He clutches at his throat, and for a brief moment you see... fear. Then falls backwards. The ground shakes as the massive dragonborn hits the ground. A hush falls over the pirates as the warrior falls. Then you hear a slow clap from the tower where the Captain sits.
"It seems that the unbeatable Black Bart has finally been beaten,"the Captain calls out. "And you five have shown yourselves worthy indeed! Take what you will from your vanquished foe. It be the way of the sea, after all."
The tension and shocked stupor broken, the other pirates erupt into cheers at the great show! Yevelda and several others from Captain Richards' ship rush into the arena to congratulate you all, especially Sae, whose impeccable aim was what finally brought Black Bart down! When you go to loot him, you'll notice that he's still breathing shallowly. It would probably be unwise to finish him off, though.
(OOC: Congratulations on a well-fought battle! You are now starting on the next chapter of your journey. Everyone please advance your character to Level 5!)
You recovered the following items from Bart after the fight, to divide up as the group sees fit:
Areleo breathing heavily still, raises his hands and with cheer makes a sound that is in audible to anyone that is not of the sea as he celebrates another victory. He will take a scale from the humanoid dragon as a spoil from victory.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Wade drops to he knees and begins a prayer "Oh divine Father, that you for giving us the means to vanquish this unworthy leader... " He continues and casts Prayer of Healing on you all.
"Well Done. Well Done, indeed. I see my course be true joining up with you all. Regarding the division, you all take the item you want, I'll be quite satisfied with what remains." Wade says
