Oh... almost forgot. Sae, for great RP and self-sacrifice in the name of the mission, I grant you inspiration.
(thank you :) i am truly honored. curious if you think Sae might know about fingerprints, or is that a foreign concept in this world? she'd want to get a casting of Norwald's with hot wax if so, otherwise i think she's more than happy to jump to the brunch)
Hmmm... fingerprints are probably known to a degree, but I'm not sure how Sae would get the prints without Norwald noticing. PM me the details of you're plan and I'll let you know if you can do it and what you need to roll for the attempt.

As you all sit eating and discussing the events of the previous night, a pirate clambers down the stairs into the dining area and makes a b-line for your table. He promptly invites himself to join you, plopping down on an open barstool without a second thought.
The man is a fairly non-descript pirate. Burly, scarred, not especially old but very grizzled. You get the picture.
"Well ladies, gents, looks like ye done impressed the captain real good last night... he sent me to letcha know that he's sending ye on a rather important mission... he ain't given me the details, but yer gonna wanna get yerselves ready to have a li'l chat with 'im..."
He grins wickedly, revealing a mouth full of rotten teeth. He pauses, seemingly waiting for your responses.

Given the lack of headache, Emrys believed himself successful in avoiding too much drink – an ability he would have been happy to acquire some years earlier. His mind was filled with the information shared between the group. Besting Hailstorm would be harder than defeating Bart. They would need the Silence kept all the time. The man controlled undead and shadow magic, maybe he was amongst the unliving himself. More importantly, they should never try to conspire with the commanders. Going by Norwald’s words, they were observed most of the time, through a ring. Finding new allies is not the way to go, he thought while eating. The newcomer’s voice brought him back to reality.
“That and how should we get to his ship? Can we just get a boat and row there or someone got here to drag us already?”
The situation as a whole was a surprise, but a welcome one. The mission would be a way into the flagship, into Hailstorm’s quarters. They could even scout the place under the excuse of wanting to talk with ‘Naut. For a moment Emrys considered that if they were sent into land by themselves they could even warn North about the numbers and challenges the crew guarded, but the more he contemplated the idea the more unnecessarily risky it seemed.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sae looks at the pirate noncommittally. "Did 'e say where he wants us to meet with 'im?", she drawls, meanwhile observing the man far more intently than her drooping eyelids and posture let on.
"Well, if ya'all are sure that ye are done with yer meal, I can take ye to see the Cap'ain right now... but I wouldn't want to rush you lot."
Though his words are polite, it is clear from the pirate's tone that he would like for you to hurry up and follow him, as Areleo has already moved to do.
Sae:
The pirate is, as stated before, fairly non-descript. A human male, most likely in his mid-thirties to mid-fourties, with the husky voice of a heavy smoker and a lazy eye. In other words... an ugly but unremarkable laky sent to deliver a message on the Captain's behalf. Though you do notice that he is a bit cleaner than most of Richards' crew, and his clothing less threadbare. In fact, if you look closely, you notice that the scimitar hanging at his side appears to be silvered. He doesn't appear to be trying to deceive you.
"That's even better.," Sae responds, getting up and following the pirate. As she passes Emrys, she whispers, "Bit more than he seems, this one.", and flicks a finger subtly at the gleaming scimitar the pirate wears.

The pirate leads you to the deck... where you see the massive form of Hailstorm's flagship is already waiting. The ship's name is written on the side of the ship... The Serpent's Vengeance
The flagship is already prepared for you to board. Yevelda and several other pirates are doing some work on the deck of your ship, glancing nervously at Hailstorm's flagship. Then the half-orc sees you lot being led towards Hailstorm's ship, and a visible shudder runs through her. As you pass by her, she quickly whispers to Emrys.
"Be careful in there... I can't tell ya' what in the Nine Hells the Cap'ain wants, but I would bet my life it won't be anything pleasant... take care of yourself an' the crew."
She quickly returns to her work with her piece said, and the five of you continue to meet Captain Hailstorm in his study (at least, I assume you do... correct me if I'm wrong).
When you arrive, Hailstorm is sitting behind a desk waiting for you... still wearing that strange metal mask, not an inch of his skin exposed.
"Greetings, champions of the arena," he says with a chuckle. "You put on a most impressive display... the fact that all of you came out of your battle alive was both impressive and a bit surprising. I am not a man who likes to waste words, so I will be quick. There is an important task that I need to accomplish... one that will be most difficult and perilous. I even toyed with the possibility of sending Norwald and Bart... but that would be unwise for a number of reasons. But you... I think you will be just the people who can bring me what I want..."
"What I want..." he explains. "Is a small, simple thing... a lantern that I left stashed in one of my old lairs many moons ago. Unfortunately, it seems that in my decade of absence, that damned admiral has set up a fort right on top of that wee stash... don't think the fool has the slightest idea what's right beneath his feet. I've already sent a number o' men to bring back my lantern, but they ain't been gettin' back in one piece more often than not..."
A low chuckle echoes from within the iron mask.
"Of course, doing ye ol' captain a favor might not be enough to motivate ye... so I'll let ya in on a little secret... me lantern ain't the only treasure ye will find if ye can make it through me ol' lair. An' whatever ye shall find ye are free to keep, but for me lantern. If ye don't bring it back... well... I trust that ye will if ye value yer lives. Do we understand each other, or shall I explain myself again?"
It is clear from his tone that his question at the end of the speech is rhetorical.
"Fort Darnby," the Captain replies quickly. "I 'ave a way for ya to get in an' out unseen... so long as you lot can hold yer breathe for a spell."
He indicates a rather large but somewhat remote island on a map laid out on his desk for you all to see... while most of you probably aren't highly familiar with every naval base that Admiral North has set up, this one is notable for being one of the key points from which the Admiral and his men conduct many of their anti-piracy operations.

Sayidda kept her features a mask as she stared at the metal, " What is it and where is it?"
Areleo will add, “Areleo does not like the word games, tell Areleo what you want Areleo to do.”

“Areleo needs no assistance with this.” He will then flex his gills.
