(Okay, sounds like the team has voted that Sae gets the dagger, and Wade gets the shield, while Areleo carries the bag. Is that right?)
If everyone is ready, Sayyida leading the way and the ghouls put to rest. The ghouls obviously were not prepared for the attack, but who is to say what else might be in the damp tunnels, especially considering the 'friendly' greeting you already got from the undead dragons? As you continue, the pathways begin to split in various directions, and you realize quickly that if you aren't careful, it could be difficult to find your way back to the entrance.
The sounds of groaning undead still echo through the tunnels, but they sound a bit quieter. It's almost as if this place has realized that you're here now. You can almost feel unholy eyes watching you, perhaps even catch glimpses of shadows moving out of the corners of your eyes. But when you turn to look, there is never anything there...
"We should mark our passage.," Sae growls, pulling out her pouches with the balls of pitch and twists of tow she uses to make her fire arrows. She chars some of the hempen strands of tow, and then pinches off a piece of pitch and uses it to stick them to the wall. "I'll put up another each time we're about to lose sight of the place where I stuck up the one previous."

(not sure dagger would incorporate into Sayyida's sword all that well ... desc says it's literally just the fang of a dragon with some leather straps wrapped around the root of the fang for a handle; so yup, provisionally added it to my equip)
As the party continues into the caverns, you see the rotted-out remains of chests and a few corpses on the ground. Fortunately, the next few corpses you come across are not animated (at the moment...) Perhaps these are unfortunates who tried to rob the cavern before...
Up ahead a bit you can see what appears to be a large treasure room. There are four chests in the room, and a some kind of clay statue of a warrior stands near the middle of the horde. At the statue's feet there is a large crystal orb, which faintly illuminates the room.
What do you do?

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
While Wade opens the chests, Sae keeps a careful eye on the statue with its glowing orb. She edges towards it until she is as close as Wade is to the chests ... 30'. From that distance she will first use hee helm to see if she detects dim traces of awareness such as a sorcerously conjured consciousness might display. If she detects nothing, she will set herself to a meticulous examination of and watch upon it. She holds herself ready for immediate action at the slightest sign of motion from the statue or anything concealead by it.

When Wade revealed his ability to open chests from a safe distance, Emrys was happy, or as close to happy as anyone could be in that place. Once again Sayyida voiced his thoughts – animated statue, exploding orb. He left the decision to the cleric, since he was the one that would take more risks and then turned to the others. It was not lost on him how much of a strange group they made. Maybe strange enough to exceed expectations and get back in one piece.
“You know, it can always be both so let’s avoid getting closer than we need.” The Warlock mentioned while following the example of the Paladin and standing forty feet away. The distance made for a reasonable compromise between staying safe and being able to run towards the cleric, should the necessity demand. “If nothing happens after opening the chests then it is likely we will need to take something from the room.” It seemed logic enough to Goldenleaf. “I could try sniping the orb from afar before we commit to that. I can hit from a hundred and twenty feet away, everyone else can be even further back.”
I should have thought of that before we started opening the chests, he noticed too late. His eyes darting from the Mage Hand to the statue.
Sae: with a 10, you don't notice anything that would immediately signal a trap.
As Wade opens the chests nothing changes. The statue remains statuesque, and the glowing orb rests at the clay warrior's feet. Do you enter the chamber, attempt to snipe the orb from a distance as Emrys suggested, or do something else entirely?
(OOC: Sorry I disappeared for a while... I've been struggling a bit lately)

Maira will stay 30' away with Sae and study the chests and the statue from a distance, only saying as she hangs back, "I would help you if I could, I'm sorry. It's been so long since I've used that particular spell, I have honestly forgotten some of the words." If nothing happens when Wade opens the chests and if she sees nothing dangerous, she will slip fully into the room, trembling visibly but with her jaw clenched in determination, and try to get a bit closer to the orb so she can examine it closer.

" Animated statue or exploding orb? What do you think?", Sayyida quipped.
" Anyone more qualified want to take a guess?"
Areleo shrugs
Wade can use Mage Hand to open items from a relatively safe distance 30’

Okay, is Wade going to do that? And in what order would he like to start opening things?

Any objections with Wade proceeding?

Wade will proceed.
Unless its laid out in some other way, lets say the four chests are at N / E / S / W.
Lets start with an attempting to open the West chest.
