Arokas takes the necklace and his gold, and studies the necklace, trying to perceive any arcane presence and decipher what it could be.
Arokas can tell there is something very special about this necklace. It feels eerily warm to the touch, but it owuld require further study to properly identify its properties.
(common) "Aye, I know the proper spell that can tell us what these items are but I lack the proper spell component to cast it. Should we come across a pearl on our travels let me know." He answers Tanis after taking his share of the loot.
You climb out of Brysis' hidden tomb into the room with the four sarcophagi belonging to her servants. From there you go back to the altar room and, ignoring the closed door on the south wall, climb up the stairs out of the ancient mausoleum.
Once outside, you retrace your steps to the large chamber where the rest of the group stopped. Jimjar lets out a sigh of relief once he sees you (common) "thank goodness you are back." He points at Sarith and adds (common) "our guide here is completely obsessed with continuing our trip without waiting for you." Eldeth nods in agreement (common) "aye, it has taken the both of us to prevent him from going alone into that big tunnel." Stool waddles toward the group, looking for Tanis (OOC: Stool would go directly to Tanis if he is close enough to Dawnbringer's light). Sarith just keeps a vacant gaze and asks (undercommon) "can we keep moving now?"
OOC: from the large room are many passages. You came from the east side. One of the passages north leads to Brysis' tomb. Sarith wants to continue west. There is a passage to the south that leads to a cavern filled with mushrooms that Tanis saw.
Tanis steps near Thunk and into Dawnbringer's light, becoming visible and gives Stool a reassuring pat, feeling some affection for the little shroom...
Which reminds him. (Undercommon but repeating in Elvish for Derendil/Arokas and Dwarvish for Drogen/Thunk/Eldeth): "Thank you for waiting. It was a dangerous place, a lost remnant of a fallen civilization and infested with undead. But in slaying them, you can see we have found a new weapon that should help us if it comes to a fight. And some gold too if we need it. Sarith, I understand you wish to press on and I agree. But you, Jimjar, Turvy who know the Underdark, can we harvest food from the mushrooms in the cavern on the opposite (southern) side? If we can spend a few minutes to gather any significant amount of food, it will help. Unless you all want to subsist on a goodberry a day from me."
The ranger suddenly looks chagrined as something occurs to him. "Stool... I hope our eating mushrooms is not offensive to you."
Thunk is muttering to himself for a bit, seemingly, but around the time Tanis asks Stool if eating mushrooms ok, Thunk figures out how to turn the sword off and does so.
“Sorry,” he says into the ensuing darkness. “Voice lady want to stay on. Always. That would make us noticed, I think. Sword off better?”
Arokas gets back to the group, helping Derendil get out of the hidden tomb. Gingerly, he places the necklace around his neck, seeing if anything occurs. “Not sure what rope-bead is, but seems warm,” Arokas comments to Derendil in Undercommon. “Any ideas?”

Stool happily releases a puff of rapport spores to facilitate communication as soon as Tanis gets close. The little myconid seems amused at the eating mushrooms suggestion "if they don't speak they are safe to eat."
Jimjar perks up instantly at the mention of gold "some gold, you say? How much exactly?" Noticing that he is drawing attention, he tries to turn the conversation into something inconspicuous "we could easily pay a nice guide once we get to a port city in the Darklake."
Eldeth shakes her head at Jimjar "gold won't hurt us, but we can't eat it nor drink it." She is more interested in the southern cavern "I'm all in foraging for food. No offence to your magic berries, they keep the tiredness away, but they don't exactly fill the stomach."

“Sorry,” he says into the ensuing darkness. “Voice lady want to stay on. Always. That would make us noticed, I think. Sword off better?”
It takes some effort to convince Dawnbringer to turn her blade off, she finally agrees to Thunk "as long as you stay close to me."

Derendil looks puzzled at the necklace (undercommon) "the craftmanship is exquisite, but jewelry is only for adornment in my eyes. If there is magic involved I could not help you."
As you start looking into the southern cavern you notice that Turvy is no longer among your group. Jimjar and Eldeth start arguing "you should have kept an eye on her while I was keeping Sarith from wandering away!" "it was me who prevented the dark elf from going on alone, it should have been your responsibility!" Stool cowers behind Tanis as they start to increase their volume and adds in a scared tone "Stool only wants to go back to Neverlight Grove. Stool only waited out of the way."
Thunk sticks the sword handle securely in his belt, close at hand. "Berries ok. Not filling but taste good," Thunk says. "Food shouldn't talk. Even after it grow up."
"Jimjar, Eldeth, calm yourselves! Did you not hear us?" Tanis speaks telepathically in exasperation through Stool's spores.
"We almost died down there in the strange ancient tomb infested with undead but liberated the magic radiant blade that was speaking in our heads that Thunk now wields. We also have gold, most of which Derendil now carries. Don't worry about how much until we rest, Jimjar. I promise you, if you want to place a wager then on something, I'll listen! But for now we have to forage, then keep moving before the drow catch up. Thank you for keeping Sarith here. If Turvy left, there is nothing we can do. She has seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but with us ever since her brother was murdered."
Tanis tries to convince Jimjar to help him forage. If not, he does the best he can himself with Eldeth, Drogen and anyone else willing.

Arokas backs away from the fight. “I don’t trust those three,” he whispers to Derendil in Elvish. “Especially Sarith. Something is very wrong with him.”
Derendil accepts the invisible chest and carries it out with little effort, making a clinking sound as the coins move inside it.

A quick sniff of the potions tells Drogen that they are a philter of love and a potion of greater healing.

Drogen follows the others back out of the tomb. (common) "Aye some real food would be nice, even if it's just mushrooms."
"Yes Thunk," Tanis mumbles in dwarvish to the orc, distracted by thoughts of foraging the mushrooms, "sort of better. I mean sword off better. Argh!"
Hopefully with help, especially from the Underdark natives, he carefully ventures into the mushroom cavern and looks around, then begins to forage.
