"I personally think once she's served her purpose as a tongue for the other three, she would be offed and left in a ditch somewhere,"Clarity replies, then turns to Alethra. "Rope's definitely not out of the question. Need a hand with the cart?"
"No, should be just about... Done!" Alethra springs up from where she was working and sits in the driver's seat of the cart. "I think murder would be more than a bit extreme. Besides, what if we need her again?"
The Gnome looks at you Samson, he has seemingly come out of his state of shock and has a more aggressive look upon his face. "Oh the Half-breed is a playtoy of mine, keeps me from slaughterin the other three." He has a sarcastic tone to his voice.
Alethra, Roll a Tinkering check.

At the gnomes words, Geoffrey walks back over to him heat filling his body, his knuckles white on the grip of his sword. He leans down till he is eye level with the gnome once again, "You are a disgusting creature. What soul you once had is dead and shriveled." He smiles grimly, "But worry not. That which is dead burns the easiest. And burn you will. For even shriveled dead souls can be used to Light the Darkness and provide warmth for those seeking shelter from the Cold."
He turns to his companions, "Does anyone have anything to gag this creature with before he says something that causes me to kill him here and now?" He turns back to the gnome, "While I won't cut your tongue out, perhaps those you tortured and treated as cattle would not have such restraint?"

The Gnome falls face first into the snow, Alive but unconscious.
At this point the Snow storm is beginning to hit its peak. The Wind is blowing wildly and the drift makes it hard to see more then 3 feet in front of you.

Geoffrey leans down and search the unconscious Gnome looking for any more hidden weapons before getting some rope out of his pack and tying the gnome up. "This storm is getting worse. We need to get a move on before we become trapped or unable to see an inch in front of our hands. Hopefully we can find some sort of shelter up ahead on the road. I don't know that we will make it to Crestfall, but we can't stay here either."
(OOC: Not sure what rolls you want me to do for the search and binding. I'm going to do a perception check for the search and a dex check for the tying of knots. Let me know if that's not ok or if I need to roll another check)

A Investigation check to Search for things. Perception is more for spotting traps or things in the distance.
For this instance, I believe your Perception and Investigation are the same so the roll works for both. Taking it as Investigation.
Geoffrey you root threw the Gnomes pockets, search his boots and belt and turn over his cloak. You find what amounts to 4 silver and 36 copper and some lint. It seems that he only had the two daggers, One in the holster on his belt and one hidden in his boot.
You dont need to roll to tie up a Unconscious being. You easily tie his hands behind his back and Tighten the rope around his midsection.
So you all force the cart back onto the beaten trail which is easy for the five of you to do. Hitching the horse to the front you all jump into the cart and resume your journey to Crestfell with Alethra on the Reins. The four women still keep their distance as best as they can in the small bed of the cart, They refuse to share their blankets as it is their only source of warmth and cover from the weather.
Because of the cart your travel time is reduced but only slightly because of the storm. It ventures onto the 5th hour before you catch a glimpse of Tall, Wooden stake walls. Atop them are low burning Lanterns that wave wildly with the strong winds. The gates, which are large wooden doors. Stand 15 feet tall and are open, no one is manning them. The half-elf has a look of relief on her face and she nudges the other three women, Who had dozed off. They awake and each begin to become more cheerful then before.
"Well Strangers, Welcome to the Last Standing town on the Reach. Crestfell is but a shadow of its former glory but its still our home." Cas calls out as she moves pass the lot of you to join Alethra at the reins. "Follow the main road until you come to the Crossroad, There take a left to the Prancing Hen. They'll give you warm food and beds there." She instructs you Alethra, giving you directions to what you assume is one of the local Inns.
Welcome to Crestfell.

"I like beds. And warm food." Alethra follows the directions the half-elf has given her. If there's a stable boy or equivalent, she hands him a silver and says, "Please don't let this cart get stolen." Alethra walks in.
(OOC: Sorry, just read this, What would be a tinker check?)
Apologies SuperServo, I had forgotten your intent to use Mending and assumed you were attempting to Tinker the seat back together. Dont worry about the roll.
Alethra there is no Stable boy in the stable. There isnt even any horses or livestock of any kind and it looks like there hasnt been any for quite some time. Leaving the horse and cart nearby to the stable you walk into the prancing hen. You are immediately hit by the stench of decayed flesh and death. The Inn is dark with no source of light anywhere within. Your nose burns with the rancid smell.

"What in Taranis?! What died in here?" Alethra walks outside and tells the group that "it smells like death 5 times over. I'd recommend you cover your face with something." She wraps part of her cloak around her face and puts on her goggles of night.
Samson there is no fire in the Hearth, it looks like it has been out for days.
Alethra, scanning threw the dark Inn you see chairs and tables. A few stools, Candles are affixed to sconces along the walls. Taking a few steps in you see the source of the rancid smell, Some raw meat has been left on one of the tables and it has severely decayed. Best guess this meat has been left here for over a week. Nothing in this tavern tells you that someone has been here recently, it seems abandoned.
