While Clas waits for everyone to discuss the options, he makes sure he has a purple flag, taking it from someone if necessary, and then goes and collects Nim. "Nim! When you jumped on that She-Wolf's back... Hahahaha! That was most awesome thing I have ever seen! Hahahaha! Your sister is going to be so proud of you! Hahahaha!"
Nim nonchalantly sheds his fear from the she wolfs magic and blushes at this remark.
"Ahem... well thank you Clas I appreciate it. Although I do belive Bella would be prouder had my strike landed true."
Tarysaa looks around at her companions. "We are tattered and torn. IF... I say... IF we go and explore to the west side, We. Touch. NOTHING. None of our magic weavers have enough energy for more spells unless Daisy can do infinite 'magic rocks' to arm us all to throw. If we run into another yeth hound or something WORSE, we are all dead."
Tarysaa tries to dust herself off and looks at her blood stained side frowning as she uses Prestidigitation to clean up the worst of it... though it does nothing for her blood splattered personage nor mends her clothing. "Anyone else want the dust knocked off your kit and clothing?" She will walk among them all and lightly touch a shoulder or arm and Prestidigitates any who indicate they could use 'fresher clothing'.
"No more 'deals with demons or hell hounds'. No more releasing unless we can confer and confirm that it is some 'thing' that will not turn on us at the first chance they get. IF those images upstairs indicate 'other prisoners', there are some Celestials down here that MIGHT... MIGHT be of aid to us. Or, they may see us as ants and crush us before flying away. ALL of these creatures have been imprisoned for AT LEAST 250 years thanks to Kylth Harpell's experiments with extraplanars. And remember, those images also had dragons and fiends," she shivers at the thought, "Personally, I do not wish to have to test myself against a dragon or fiend."
Waves a hand toward the Eastern alcove and the spitting, whirling energies contained by another sigil circle. "THAT might be a way out to somewhere else in the world OR the doorway to the Nether Planes. I do NOT know. This magic is far beyond my level of understanding. We do NOT go near it or 'release it."
She stands leaning heavily on her rune covered staff, "With that all said, I don't mind 'exploring' but we can not get into another battle or we will die."
After Tarysaa's long rant, Nim leans over to Clas and elbows him in the thigh, when Clas looks down at him Nim pulls his head down to level by tugging at Clas' coat and whispers to him...
"I don't remember voting myself but I think we have a leader, or at least a bossy boots."
"Zentromya! Could you really be what... ahem, who we've been looking for? Can you really restore Dobbian's life for us? And more importantly with no catch? And will we encounter any more 'guards' if I remove this bauble here?"
Nim asks cautiously as his hand hovers above the Chrystal ball on the plinth that keeps Zentromya imprisoned here.
"How can I know what you were looking for exactly?" Zentromya patiently responds to Nim, as usual including everyone in the telepathic communication "But I told you... if the poor guy has only been dead for a few days, I'm sure I can bring him back to life! As for the consequences of freeing myself," she she sighs "I don't even know about those... I'm a prisoner in this prison and I've never managed to escape on my own... Only one has ever succeeded - even if that was enough! I have no idea which defenses are still active. But I can assure you that, as soon as I am free, I will try in every way to defend you! Don't be fooled by seeing me so small - part of the power of Elysium reverberates in me... if you stay close to me, I can protect you very effectively".
"Hang on there, Nim!" Daisy attempts to push the halflings hand away from the orb.
"Now, this creature may be what we're looking for, but if freeing 'Mya here calls down one of those guardian things again, then maybe we should rest just in case...?"
Hahahaha! Daisy is right. Let’s be cautious here. Zentromya, how many guardians are in this chamber and where do they hide? You must have seen something in 250 years. Clas then pulls out the crystal orb that released the She-Wolf. Perhaps we ought to compare this to Zentromya’s and the fiend’s. They might differ in some way. Maybe these two cages are linked. Search the walls and floors for signs of a trap mechanism, tiny holes of death. Hahahaha! Or we do it my style and just release Zentromya, start running and don’t look back. Hahahaha!

Never underestimate the power of a finely crafted barrel, my friend! It is both a vessel of strength and a symbol of resilience.
"Daisy does have a point. If another Xomox appears or something even more deadly, we are doomed."
Tarysaa turns to the small golden creature. " Lady Zentromya, is there any chance that your powers extend beyond magical healing to restoring a magic user's ability to weave magic? If that be the case, we would be near full strength to go up against any new foes as we leave this place."
Clas hands Ardana the crystal orb and then begins searching the floor and walls that would have a direct line of sight on someone releasing Zentromya. (Perception 14 game log)

Zentromya tries to respond, always telepathically, to the latest questions or observations: "Clas, I don't know how many guardians are in this chamber and where do they hide... In 250 years I haven't seen any more - not after the prisoner who is escaped exterminated most of them and caused the total destruction you see around - but it is not excluded that, for some reason, some remained... In fact, you told me that you met someone. Obviously, if I knew something for sure, then I would definitely tell you!"
"And as for magical powers, Tarysaa," the celestial continues, in your minds "no, unfortunately I am not able to restore those. I can block many spells that would harm you, if you stay near me. Or I can heal you. Even bring you back from death, as we have already said. But I am not able to do that thing that you would like".
Clas, meanwhile, does not identify anything suspicious during his searches... But objectively, any searches are made incredibly complicated by the prevailing general chaos.
"What was the prisoner that escaped? Did someone set them free? Was it 250 years ago that they escaped? In the complex above we didn't see anything to indicate an escape, there must be another way out."
Ardana will get close to Zentromya's crystal comparing it with the one that released the wolf.
"Pardon our being overly cautious," said Tarysaa slowly. " We made a few errors in action that took their toll on the party. I HOPE we can free you without undue danger and get you back to Longsaddle and Martha as swift as possible."
Looking around at everyone, "Everyone ready, just in case?"
She moves to better footing. "Ardana, if you think we are ready..."
Hahahaha! Looks like we're going to run for it! Anyone who wants a head start might want to start running now! Hahahaha! Clas draws ale and barrel then faces the caged fiend across the hall, half expecting it to be released.

"The prisoner who escaped was some kind of humanoid with a canine head..." Zentromya still speaks telepathically to everyone, answering Ardana's question "And yes, it was still 250 years ago. I haven't seen if it freed itself with the help from someone, but from what little I saw of what it was capable of doing, I don't rule out that it might even have freed itself somehow. A few of the spells it was able to cast were so powerful that they would have passed even my protective aura. It had been the last creature Kylth Harpell had captured. Perhaps, with it, the arrogant wizard has got more than he bargained for. As for not having found any traces of its escape... other than the devastation it left here, you mean? However, it wouldn't surprise me at all if it had been able to teleport, once free from his cell. If it didn't do it right away, it was because it deliberately wanted to destroy everything down here. But once it completed its revenge... it might as well have teleported away".
Meanwhile, comparing Zentromya's crystal with the one that released the wolf, the tiefling paladin comes to the conclusion that they look exactly alike. Indistinguishable from each other.
"I understand your desire for caution, Tarysaa and Daisy..." the celestial creature mentally sighs "I myself cannot assure you of anything... except that I will remain at your side and defend you, if anything tries to attack you. On the other hand, if to be safe you want to rest before freeing me, I can understand that too... I have already waited 250 years... I can as well wait for you to have some rest".
" Thank you for understanding our situation, Lady Zentromya. You are a most welcome addition to our party. I am sorry we are not 'at strength' to guarantee your freedom until we can rest and renew our spell capabilities."
Tarysaa turns to the party, "Clas, Nim, Ilwythe... didn't we pass a half opened door not far from this alcove? Can one or all of you go shed some light in the doorway and see if it might be a safe place to 'shelter in place'. If it is empty and safe, we can rest there and work out how we will progress afterward."
"Our only secure choice is to go all the way back up to the throne room area - while hoping none of those flaming orbs broke free... or regenerated somewhere else in the hallways. Daisy. Ardana. Any other ideas or a plan of attack?"
Clas heads for the half-open door, ale and barrel at the ready. "Hahahaha! In search of sanctuary, we are sieged in a snare of storm and strife. Come on Ale, let's go poke the unknown one last time. Hahahaha!"

"Now you want to explore more before resting? If you are going back in the entry hall to this level, I'm inclined to stay here to break glass at sign of danger. I say now that we've found Lady Zentromya that we proceed with the plan of freeing her and journeying back to Martha, if we leave now we can get back before dusk, if my calculations are correct."
Clas shrugs, sheathes Ale and lights a torch from his pack. He then cautiously moves to the half-open door just to the east of the party and peers inside, Barrel ready.
