By this time it seems nearly everyone in the hotel is awake. The hallway is filled. The Grand Chancellor's aides are knocking on the door furiously and calling out. From inside the room everyone can hear his booming voice... "THEY'RE TRYING TO ROB ME NOW THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT MURDERING ME!" "Go find the desk clerk with a key!" Says one of the aides to the other. "Can anybody break this door down?" He says to the people in the hallway!

NOTE: Anyone who wishes to be can be in the hallway at this point!

Thurston

Thurston, cleary upset for had been awoken at that hour, with no shirt or armor but with his hammer in his hand says

"Let me pass" and as soon as he is in front of the door he smite it using his hammer, to break the lock, using his two hands to give more strenght to the hit.

Seldor

Seldor is woken up by this commotion. While he doesn't take the time to put on his jacket, he does slip on his boots and puts one of his daggers on his belt. He rushes out to see Thurston trying to break down the door and stands behind him.

The paladin doesnt hesitates, he didn't need the incentive anyway

"¡¡ATTACKING AN UNARMED MAN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!! YOU COWARDS!! YOU WILL SUFFER THOR'S JUDGEMENT!!"

He yells after slaming the door again.

Attack: 6 Damage: 8

The door mechansim falls apart and pings on the floor. The door swings open to reveal the two halfling brothers, one holding a hefty bag of coinage stand before a naked fat man!

Thurston.

"By Thor's Beard!! Stop where you are you two!! What's going on here?!"

Seldor

Seldor rushes in the door. "It's three in the morning! What the hell is going on...in...here"

*sees naked fat man*

*sees the halflings*

"Why do I not want to know the story behind this and why am I not surprised that you're involved in this?"

Sarro

Sarro, still tired and a bit grumpy comes out of his room in time to see Thurston open the door.  Looking and seeing the scene in front of him, a naked fat man and two halflings he just shakes his head. "Strange traveling companions we have"  He thinks to himself.  Instead he looks at the halflings and says to the random person standing next to him "Good foods, good fights, and a late show, This place is even better than I had heard."

Fen

Walking up behind Sarro as he states his observation, "We may be in for more of an adventure than we first planned."

Upon hearing Thurston's voice and the loud banging, Diangar peeks out of his room. He listens to the conversation and feeling something will happen. He dons his armor only getting a few hours of sleep. A tad irritated he cracks his door slightly to listen and peek out intently.

RUNA

Runa emerges from her room, yawning and stretching but fully dressed in armor and wearing her shield and sword. She wanders up behind the others of the party already watching from the hallway and takes in the scene. Eyeing Ammom, she huffs a quiet laugh. "Couldn't happen to a nicer guy, huh?" she murmurs to Seldor, Fen, and Sarro (and whoever else of the party is standing there). Then she catches a glimpse of Zotar's face and sighs.

Adjusting her armor and giving her neck a crack, Runa makes a show of shoving past the others toward Thurston. "Brother! Your found them!" Runa exclaims with wide-eyed wonder. Completely ignoring the Chancellor's state of undress, Runa turns toward him and points toward the halfling brothers. "There's a bounty on these two. We were sent to bring them in. Good thing we got here when we did! Come on, then!" 

Runa sternly waves the halfings toward the door.

Deception: 3

Seldor

Seeing what's going on here and glad that someone is doing something that might resolve this mess, Seldor pitches in to the deception. "Oh, oh, I recall these two now! Very dangerous criminals despite their short stature! They're wanted in six kingdoms! You're very lucky that this brave man (points to Thurston) heard your calls for help and came to save you like he did. Another minute and you might be a goner! I'd say that our brave bounty hunters here deserve some form of reward for their heroism"

Sarro

With a nod of agreement to Fen Sarro steps up.  Knowing that he's been linked to Runa and Thurston he says "Who would have thought they would be here of all places."  He says out loud.  He stands slightly behind Runa and Thurston, backing their play.

The Chancellor takes the bag of coins from Ammom. "Right then! Take them away and I'll make sure the Royal Court stretches their little necks! And you good Sir..." He hands the bag of coins to Thurston. "A token of my gratitude! Now if you'll all excuse me I'd like to get some sleep. I want to be well rested for the fights tomorrow night. I've got an inside tip. Madman Masher is going to make a surprise comeback. You don't want to bet against him!"

Sarro

Sarro, seeing the excitement is over, turns to go to bed.  Before he does, he goes up to Runa and asks "You know anything about this madman masher? Don't think I've ever heard of him."

OOC: would I have heard of Madman Masher?

“Thank you good Sir.” Says Thurston and turning to the two brothers says “You two!! Come!! And no more funny business!! “ and he escorts them to his rom with his sister at the ready.

Zotar

A whirlwind of things had happened here, and he wasn't sure he had pieced it together at this point. What had Ammom got them into? He rest his hand from his dagger, he had instinctively gone for it when Ammom had asked him to stab him, but had hesitated. He didn't want to stab his own brother, now they were being led down the hall by the others. Zotar thanked their lucky stars that the others had come along, otherwise this might have gone so much worse. Still his face would now be known by the Chancellor and his men, so he would be unable to assist as a gambler or in any other con at the fights. Which one of those things was he more distraught about, nearly being killed, or being unable to assist the others?

Once they enter his room Thurston will close the door and stay just in front of it. He doesn’t bother to put his shirt on but keeps the hammer in his hand, crossing his arms over his chest. 

“What was all that about? What were you two thinking about?”
