So, double check and let me know if you need more info. The dragon is in the picture, you get up to S10 without being seen. The dragon notices you when casting a spell. Then we jump into initiative order and you are at the top.

That should work... he (or she) will still be stuck inside a prismatic wall if I'm understanding correctly and will pretty much have to either stay there (presumably using its action to try to destroy a layer) or eat a ton of damage to get out. Also, it must make a DC 22 Con save or be blinded by the wall.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?

Ancient White Dragon rolls Constitution Save +14 DC 22 vs 15 to avoid being blinded by prismatic wall. If it fails, it will use Legendary Resistance 1 time and have 2 left.
Okay, so, would an AoE spell cast outside of the wall be able to effect the dragon inside? The violet wall says that spells cannot be cast through it, but that is not necessarily the same thing as spells cast outside the wall having no effect.

Prismatic Wall says that it's 90 feet long, 30 feet high, and 1 inch thick.
Since the Ancient White Dragon is Gargantuan, that makes it 20 feet tall and the Lair, although rough walls, is between 60 feet high and 80 foot high ceilings.
If you move up or around, you could probably get a line of sight
Round 3 It takes the followers 1 round to heal up and regroup. As they are regrouping, you move through the cave ahead of them 1 round.
Round 4 You arrive at the mouth of the Dragon Lair, the prone dragon hears you enter but you gain the initiative. 1, Your turn, 2, Lair Action 3, Followers begin to arrive 4, Dragon's Turn << We are here (Begin your turn rolling a Wisdom Save for Frightful Presence DC 16)
Round 5 1. Followers with high initiative will go first 2. Your turn 3. Lair Action 4. Followers second phase 5 Dragon's turn 6. Followers third phase
Because the Prismatic wall is so high and the Dragon doesn't want to squeeze over, it will instead Burrow underground and come out 80 feet on the other side using a dash action.

Actually, I wanted to use the Sphere option to totally enclose the dragon and entrap it within; with a 30-diameter, it should be just large enough to fit the dragon inside based on the space the dragon takes up on the map. Per Jeremy Crawford, the Sphere option can extend underground as well.

Ok, the sphere is a dome above the dragon that connects below its feet underground.
The dragon will breath on the red layer of the wall, dealing 89 cold damage
The followers have all arrived and cannot see you, but they see a giant ranbow sphere and hear angry roars coming from inside. All followers are on delay or readying their action for instructions, they will all be 20 feet behind you where you stand 60 feet behind the sphere
Round 5 1. Followers with high initiative will go first 2. Your turn << We are here (Begin your turn rolling a Wisdom Save for Frightful Presence DC 16) 3. Lair Action 4. Followers second phase 5 Dragon's turn 6. Followers third phase
It's your turn. Go ahead and roll all the damage, the dragon is breaking through on it's turn
4, Dragon's Turn << We are here (Begin your turn rolling a Wisdom Save for Frightful Presence DC 16)
Since Akkron beat the first Wis save, he is actually immune to the dragon's Fearful Presence for 24 hours
Akkron will use his turn getting as close as he can to the glowing sphere of death... he's got a spell that he's planning to cast, but it looks like he'll need to pass through the wall to do it (and he, along with any whom he designates, can pass through the wall per the rules of the spell). Prismatic wall is not concentration. But he's not quite close enough to go through the wall this turn.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

So basically, Akkron is taking the Dash action to get right up to the dome of death.
