Essendrum goes to the webbed corridor and examines the webbing for signs suggesting what if anything he might have caught, such as torn webs, a path marking a direction something moved through, a spell book hanging open to the ‘counterspell’ page, or even an angry Thayan scowling at him.
Essendrum goes to the northest corridor and Spike, from his position, turns and looks. You both see a corridor covered in thick sticky webbing. Near the northwest wall of the corridor is a large lump of sticky web with a human hand sticking out of it, waving back and forth.
Spike sees the magical web and is not sure he won't get stuck but, being a raging barbarian, he kind of likes those odds. What does Spike do?
"Does anyone require healing?" asks Bjorn as he tends his wound. Grimacing he decides to hold off on using a spell to heal himself, saving his energy for more critical uses.
Kiza looks around and nudges some of the zombies to make sure they are truly dead and once satisfied she will dismiss her illusion. "I am not in need of healing. Like I said earlier Wizards and catacombs make a bad combination. Essendrum did you catch something in your web?"

“Oh, I thought you were speaking about me! I certainly don’t care for catacombs.” Essendrum winks at Kiza. “I hope my fly survives its introduction to Flint. I suspect a Red Wizard that can counter a fireball would not be so easily foiled. An Orange Wizard at most.” Essendrum ends his spell as Spike leaps madly at the webbing.
Breathless, Enoch looked around at the fallen zombies, then turned to watch as Spike roared before hurling himself into the webbing that Essendrum had created.
"Spike!" he yelled, more out of disbelief than anything else, before simply sighing, then turning to see what became of the situation.
Spike rushes over to where the wizard appears to be cocooned in Essendrum's web and launches himself at the exposed arm. However, Spike becomes entangled in the sticky webbing and is restrained.

Bjorn is definitely confused at this point, unsure of what exactly is happening.
