Seeing that two others have intervened and the woman is no longer in danger the cloaked figure moves closer to the ogre before he drops his scimitar and mutters under his breath as he clicks his fingers.
Movement: Will move within 30 feet of the ogre which the dwarf and the human have already engaged.
Action: Matar casts Produce Flame and hurls the flame which appears in his hand at the ogre. Attack: 15 Damage:12
Matar then turns to the man who addressed him and calls out "It seems your friends have given this creature enough steel. Perhaps some fire will be of use".
Spike moves forward and launches himself at the Ogre, tankard flailing. The Ogre grunts as Spike strikes twice with the enchanted mug. Spike leaps forward and latches onto the Ogre's right leg, Spike's armor embedding itself into the Ogre's flesh.
The newcomer (Matar) stops, He mutters something and a small ball of fire appears in his hand. He launches it, striking the Ogre in its chest.
Kiana continues musing with Essendrum. "I'm not interested in it sharing its thoughts with us, so much me sharing my thoughts with it. Which I'm not half bad at. I've been told I can be quite persuasive! For example..." She focuses her eyes on the hulking ogre, and the air quivers as she lets a syllable pass through her mouth.
"KNEEL."

The Ogre abruptly kneels. Enoch slashes the creature, doing a great deal of damage to it. It raises its head to stare at you, mouth gapping open and blood running down its face.
Essendrum steps forward and raises his staff above his head, fire swirling into an ominous cloud at its tip. (Firebolt ready to cast if the ogre stands or attacks.)
“Yield or Die!”
He says in Giant.
In common he says, “Perhaps he will be talkative now. He might even be a rare raconteur despite his humble place in the ordning.”
The Ogre looks up but says nothing. Pain and confusion are etched across his face as, you believe, he is trying to make sense of what is going on, but he does not attack.
Matar picks up his scimitar and sheathes it at his side but keeps his shield up and remains alert in case the ogre attacks or any of its compatriots decide to get involved.

The same silence where there was no silence that preceded Kiana’s Command hangs in the air as Essendrum speaks. Kiza and Kiana recognize words of Power in Draconic, but then the wizard switches to Giant. ((Essendrum casts Suggestion))

Seeing the creature kneeling, Enoch grits his teeth, then slowly lowers his weapon. Even a foul cretin like this deserved his chance at redemption, after all.
Calming himself, the paladin glanced around, then spotting the woman who'd been tossed aside by the ogre, rushed over.

The Ogre remains kneeling but regains his composure and starts laughing. "OBAY GHEE!" he yells. His voice carries through the night, the smoke and burning buildings giving it an eerie effect. As soon as he yells out, all goes quiet save for the crackle of burning wood. A minute passes with no reply.
Matarpulls a metallic orb out from under his cloak and holds it tightly in his hand. He steps away from the group slightly to keep a watch on the surrounding area in the hopes of identifying if any other creatures have been drawn to the Ogre's yell.
Spike is unwilling to wait a minute, releasing the ogre as soon as it is clear he has been neutralized. He rushes to the nearest burning building and runs in, looking for survivors and pulling them out of they are in need.

Only vaguely aware that the party members are rushing off, Essendrum continues to regard the ogre. Its wounds should have killed it, and perhaps they did. Something is working with or driving the giants, something seemingly fiendish with great power in the necromantic arts. He continues in Abyssal,
Perhaps that is the wrong question. What is your name?
"Alright, I'm gonna hedge my bets."Kiana presents her holy symbol and, once again, angelic spirits burst forth from it and start swirling around the area. "Essendrum, if you can't get the guy to talk soon then I'm going to head off with the others and make sure this spell doesn't go to waste again."
Spirit Guardians: For 10 minutes, hostile creatures within 15 feet of Kiana have their speed halved, and they make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw when they enter the area or start their turn in it, taking 3d8 radiant damage on a failure or half on a success.

Essendrum asks in Giant. Telepathically he inquires of Milady what the whereabouts are of the other giantkin and orcs and what they seem to be doing.
Matar pulls a metallic orb out from under his cloak and holds it tightly in his hand. He steps away from the group slightly to keep a watch on the surrounding area in the hopes of identifying if any other creatures have been drawn to the Ogre's yell.
