Side-eyeing Thera, Ivor grumbles and stomps his way over to the rest of them. He's a grumpy, gruff-looking dwarf, with fair skin and brown hair and a long beard put up in all sorts of buns, braids, and intertwined with silver beads. His impressive-looking warhammer rests on his back, well protected and put away. "Why're all you guys 'ere, then? You aren't together?" He points a grubby finger around the group, gesturing to 'you guys.' "And what'd ya mean by "we've been brought 'ere for a reason?" That sounds awfully ominous." He imitates Bele as she muses, but not in any rude or mean way.

" Well if we're going to be adventuring together, we should all become aquainted with another." Thera put their stony hands to their armor on their chest. "I am Thera, acolyte of the temple of Bhall." He motions to the others. "And you are?"
"Nice to meetcha, Thera," the dwarf sticks out his hand to shake theirs. "I'm Ivor, Faenor of Berronar." He looks to the others and waits for more introductions.

Thera firmly shakes Ivor's hand with a Stony grip.
They always had a rough life, so it wasn’t uncommon for them to be sleeping on the ground, or in the forest, but this isn’t where they went to sleep…
The sinister trees loom over them, their branches raking at the fog. Even to someone like them, they feel particularly uninvited.
They shiver and try to look around.
They can't see anything through this fog.
They hear voices and start moving in that direction, hands outstretched. *toward bele and thera* *oop gtg*
Thera sees Death appear from the fog nearby and beckons them over. "If you're lost, we have a way to town. But please, introduce yourself. I don't like strangers."
Bele decides a longer introduction is now in order, given others have done the same. “Bele Corbu. I know lots of stuff. Sometimes that’s about getting into places I shouldn’t, but never with bad intentions. And as for getting out of this place, if anyone knows the way, I'll follow.”
Death sighs. “I’m Death. I spent a lot of time on the streets. I got taken in by the assassins guild. I ain’t killed no-one, but I made it through the academy. Those who make it through can be a dangerous bunch. If you don’t make it through, you die. The reason I’m called Death is because I was top of my class, and everyone’s sure I could kill in an instant. But I don’t think I could. I don’t have the heart after seeing the amount of suffering that I saw.” *sorry if I just dumped my entire backstory*

"Well now that we've been aquainted, we should go. I'd hate to find out what happens in this fog if we stay too long. Theran looks to Bogdan expectantly for them to lead the way.

He nods and begins to lead the way.

Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.
May each word that I speak be backed by each of my teeth.
Eventually, along the road where the forest grows thicker, you all see a massive iron gate set into stone walls jutting out of the woods. Two headless statues flank the dew-and-rust-covered bars of the gate, silent and unmoving. Their heads lie amongst the weeds on the ground.

Thera looks around as they travel down the muddy road inspecting the trees and lack of greenery. "Not much life around these parts huh?"

Someone answers, but Thera can't tell if it's Bhall or not.

Thera confident in his prayer " We should head to town, we'll have more answers there. Bogdan," There looks to him. "Can you lead us to town?"
"Yeah, I could. All of you guys okay with that?"

Thera looks at the unlikely band of adventurers seeking approval
"If there's a place to sleep over there that isn't a mattress of snow with a blanket of more snow, then yes, I'm fine with that, thank you."

"Good to meet you" Thera holds out his hand
