Seeing the blood all over Dev, Lokilia screams out, "Noooo!"  The sound though rapidly shifts into a howl as she transforms into a Dire Wolf, her equipment merging into the new form. (Bonus Action: Combat Wild Shape).  The wolf then leaps at the assailant on the bed.

Dev fell onto the bed with a blade in his belly as a wolf that had been a woman leapt onto it and snapped at the man who had stabbed Dev.

( Magnus, Normont and Quinn are up)

Quinn will move in and lay a hand onto his young horned friend and give him a little pick me up so he can live to tell the tale.

Magnus will fire another Eldritch Blast at the attacked who downed Dev and then with the other hand will send some healing energy his way.

Seeing Dev fall to one of the assassins, and Lokilia, Quinn and Jasper come to his aid, Normont moves the opposite way trying to split the focus of their foes. As he moves, he keeps his aim on the same target as the cogs continue to whir.

"And again Amber", he says to his homunculus in Gnomish as he squeezes the trigger. Amber follows suit and tries once more as well.

Dev finds himself feeling somewhat better, as a blast of energy drives into the man that attacked him and a loud retort spins another of the assassins around, Amber continues redecorating by taking out a vase.

One of the assassins breaks toward Normont driving with his blades, the other concentrates on trying to put Blainith down whilst the one on the bed defends himself against the sudden wolf attack.

Blainith fights back as best he can, but he is not looking too healthy....

The shining red stain on Dev’s tunic lightens and dissolves to nothing as the blood soaking the garment, in reverse motion, returns to the severed artery, which then seals. Other pierced and sliced vital organs likewise reattach and regain their functions. With a gasp, Dev regains consciousness. Choosing his moment, as Lokilia-turned-wolf threatens the assassin on the bed, Dev quickly twists up from prone to escape, disengaging and placing himself in the doorway to the southeast and hiding behind it after holding Quinn & Magnus’ eyes for a moment. “Thank you!”

After taking a couple of blows, Lokilia in Dire Wolf form is bloodied but still active.  She continues after the assailant on the bed.

Lokilia snaps at the man as Dev retreats but he is able to fend her off for now.

In his jubilance at finally aiming true, Normont doesn't quite notice the assassin rushing at him in time. As he brings his shield around to block one strike he is unable to move fast enough to block the second. He takes a vicious wound as their blade cuts across his chest.

"It's up to you Amber", he grunts in Gnomish as he ducks and weaves backwards away from them, even as he feels the blood soaking into his undershirt.

Amber, still not disillusioned by her many failed attempts to hit her target, sends another bolt of force at the same assassin as before.

Quinn attacks the Priest that is in front of him pumping a divine attack into it if it hurts.

"We almost have them friends, give it all you got and take these thugs down!" Magnus yells hoping to potentially bring some of the attacks his way as he once more launches a glowing green Eldritch Blast against the "Priest" on the bed. Once the blast is launched he will turn toward Normont and send some healing energy his way.

Healing Word to Normont: 6

"We still need you friend, take that thug out." Magnus says.

Magnus blast catches the man in the chest and he looks around a little worried at his current predicament.

Quinn powers forward striking at the man who takes it but seems staggered at the force of the blow, knocking the wind out of him.

Normont safely disengages and retreats to the entry door while Amber dismembers a stuffed toy on the window sill.

The man who had attacked Normont turns back as he flees and strikes at Quinn, the other slashes at the momentarily distracted Blainith.

The man on the bed looks towards the bandaged woman but prioritises the angry canine as his target.

Still barely on his feet with blood pouring from his wounds, Blainith kicks out at the one in front of him trying to get some distance.

“Quinn!!,” Dev shouts fearfully as he sees the genasi fall to the assassin’s attacks. A long, colorful scarf from the closet is caught accidentally by one of the teen tiefling’s horns and trails behind as he scampers to Quinn’s side. Time seems to slow as Dev’s eyes gain a glowing intensity, and his voice, powerful and taut as a bowstring, carries this refrain in a pulsing rhythm, which breathes new life into the paladin:

Another pair of blows strike the Dire Wolf that is Lokilia, leaving it heavily injured.  But the wolf continues to attack the assassin on the bed.
