Name:Salamir Hawkwinter Race: High Elf Class: Rogue (Swashbuckler) Background: Celerity Adventurer's Scion Backstory: Living in the shadow of a legend is not easy, and Salamir's mother, Lady Hawkwinter, is one such legend. Adventurer extraordinaire, archer supreme, monster hunter incredible are just some of the superlatives used to describe her. For Salamir, she was for the most part an absentee parent, and when she was there she was undoubtedly busy. In truth he learnt a lot from her growing up. Like how to speak exotic languages and how to drive a cart so fast the wheels were within a whisker of coming off. But she also taught him that he can really only rely on himself, even if that did mean cashing in on her fame with a song or a story or two. It is amazing how many turn a blind eye when he cheated at cards, as long as they got to play with the son of a legend.
But living off a parents fame can only satisfy one with ambition of their own for so long. Now it was his turn to have stories told about him. And right now, he thinks he has the crew to make it happen.

Forgot to add my boundaries. Am happy with those mentioned, and I will add that I find swearing in plain text in posts off putting and needless (can always get the effect with special characters etc). I would probably categorise it as a Gray Area more than a hard limit.
Backstory: Emerson grew up on the sea, son of an old deckhand, he found himself following in his father's footsteps. He bounced around from crew to crew always looking to a new destination until he was hired for an archeological expedition. While at this remote destination, something attacked them. A monstrous creature that had been hiding in the shadows lashed out at the workmen. Emerson was badly wounded but was one of few to survive. After recovering he found he was a little... different from how he used to be. He found himself to almost infected by the creature. Now when he gets angry and in a bar room scrap he finds his hands and face almost become beast like without meaning too (using Primal Savagery as primary malee attack option). Now he finds he has a new calling, and hatred for the monstrosities of the world and plans to use any new insight to them to help remove them from existence.
Name: Jean de Broter Race: Shifter-Longtooth Class: Barbarian-Beast Background: City Watch Backstory: Jean followed in his father's footsteps and became a member of the city watch. He spent many hours patrolling the streets of Waterdeep and thought this was his calling in life. It all changed while he was investigating a series of gruesome murders in the noble's quarters. He heard the woman scream and as Jean turned the corner he saw the villain clutching the corpse of a young woman. The young officer yelled and the cloaked figure dropped the corpse and fled. Jean blew his signal whistle and gave chase. Running down streets and back alleys, Jean tried to keep up. Too late he realized he was being led. Jean turned the corner and the cloaked figure sunk his teeth into the young officer while clawed hands savaged his body. Jean fell into unconsciousness. Jean awoke some 3 days later in his bed at home. He was fully healed and famished. It took only a month to realize what that late-night encounter had done to him. Soon after he left the watch to seek out the one who made him and hopefully lift this curse.
Backstory: Manira is the youngest child of 6. Three girls, three boys, born to two very devout clerics of the village church. Their family is very known throughout the village and are called upon for any and everything that is in need of help. Whether it is actual cleric type duties to fixing a fence post so the cows don't get out. Manira's siblings are mostly like her parents, finding their own calling, own deity to serve by and spending their days devoting their time to this. Her youngest brother is more like Manira. They have both found their calling, and are happy with it, but want more out of life. Manira's interest turned out to be with the forge. She spends half her days in the church and the other with the local blacksmith, Xander. She finally finds an escape through adventuring when she hooked up with a group that needed some work done on their armor. She knows her parents don't approve, and it gives her a little chip on her shoulder.
Lavana Clearwater/ air genasi fey/ Star druid(don't have available)
Backstory: Lavana's mother pulled a changeling(fey child traded for a human one). She knows she's different from her parents, but doesn't really question it and believes she was blessed by the night sky and so became a druid of the stars. Her human parents are very kindhearted to the point of ignoring the bad. This sadly is taken advantage of by thieves who trick her father into giving them money "to help them turn around". They use it to fund a heist. One frames Lavana's father as an accomplice when he gets caught. Lavana's father is imprisoned and Lavana and her mother are thrown to the streets. The struggle but manage until a sickness takes hold of Lavana's mother. Lavana uses all their money to get a room at a clinic, but its not enough to pay for the money. Lavana hears about the monster hunters and sees it as a chance to do good and a quick way to get enough money to save her mother. She steals from a random drunk in a tavern to get her equipment and runs away.
