Willin sees Jarin beginning to jettison things, and, with his eye for inventories, starts picking out the best items to haul over the side, taking weight, size, value and importance to the survival of the crew into account. [Can I argue for Investigation here as well? 7]

I’ll allow it. Success. You can tell what can be prioritised.
You’ve successfully managed to assist the crew to keep the ship aloft. A large gust of wind takes the mainsail the same time a wave buffets the ship and the main mast cracks the rest of the way and crashes down upon the deck. The fire, left unchecked, spreads further across the deck. The crew is panicked. An immense moan reverberates from below deck and you feel the sickening lurch as the back of the hull is punctured. The ship is taking on water a you know that this ship is sinking.
Jarrin, this roll is against your AC: 19, does that hit?
I see that it does. The swooping figure comes out of the darkness at you and grabs you by the shoulders causing 4 piercing damage. It will start lifting you into the air. What are you goi g to do about it?

Jarin feels the claws grab tightly onto his shoulders and realizes that he's being lifted into the air. Ignoring the pain and much as he can, shouts with defiance "Two can play this game!!" and with a swift motion grabs the creatures legs and delivers a shocking grasp on hopes that the creature lets him go - (attack roll) = 15 (DMG roll) = 4
Anyone else feel free to jump in whenever.
