Khessa is initially disconcerted... despite the instinct that came to her to knock, she didn't really expect an answer... least of all from a person who seems alive and well. She quickly recovers, however, thinking: 'Hey, after all, I've told so many times to my kids, Yondra and Sarvin, that using courtesy usually pays off...'
The blonde arcane warrior smiles at the one who opened: "Pleasure to meet you! I'm Khessa, Khessa Cabbagefield! My friends and I are trying to thwart the crazy plans of destruction of Slaanesh and Azash, two truly disreputable deities. Are you by chance a citizen of the Cipis Empire? It turns out that the Cipis Empire also had bad experiences with the two entities I told you about..."
The figure looks and listens to you, blinking his eyes a couple of time before answering. "Yes, a real long time ago, so master says. He bids me to welcome you and ask you to follow me please." He leaves the door open, turns and begins to walk inside.
Akkron hesitates a moment... but his curiosity quickly gets the best of him.
"Let's follow him and meet his master," the lich says. "This is a strange situation, but I'm willing to hear out people who haven't tried to murder us. I am EXTREMELY curious though what relationship 'the master' has to the Zemochs and their allies..."

Khessa agrees with her mentor: "Indeed, Master Akkron... Since I declared from the beginning that we are enemies of the 'nefarious duo', if this 'master' were on their side they would probably prove hostile. The fact that they welcome us suggests that they could instead turn out to be an ally! And what's more... they know something about the Cipis Empire in here! Perhaps this 'master' is an ancient citizen of that empire".
The blonde arcane warrior eagerly follows the figure: "I will gladly meet this 'master' you speak of. However, can I also know your name? In my eyes, anyone who carries out his task diligently and courteously, as you are doing, does not has no less value than his 'master'. Ordinary people are like the bones of society and the world... many don't see them, but hardly anything could stand without them! I would like to know you and be able to call you by name. Have you been in the service of the 'master' for a long time?"
The hallway that you enter appears odd, as it is in good condition compared to the rest of the cavern and temple. Well kept, clean, dust free. It appears to have been made within the cavern, carved out ages ago yet appears almost new. The floor is carpeted, the walls have tapestries and decorations. You pass an open door to what appears to be a well-stocked library.
The man in the toga stops before a door, gently knocks before opening it. "Master, they have come." He states. Not hearing the reply, you do see he nods his head as if answered, and he opens the door to allow you entry.
The room you enter is grand, the decorations, artwork, ancient arms and armor lining the room. Brother Maynard is in awe, whispering "These are all original Cipsis Empire. More than what has been found in all of Eoasia!"
You hear a slight chuckle, "You are quite right, replies a dry voice. I doubt you will find any of them anywhere on this land you call Eoasia."
You follow a voice to a figure sitting in a large chair, a great book in his gloved hands. A well-made deep purple cowled robe dresses the man, as he closes the book and places it on a small table next to the chair. Rising, he turns to face you.
"That will be all for the moment," he says to the man in the toga, then waves his hand and the man disappears. He pulls back his hood to reveal a skull, that you recognize and sense is that of a Lich.
Tyekanik looks to the lich in the chair, and back to Akkron, and back to the chair, and back to Akkron, almost as if seeing twins. He grips his axe all the more tightly grimacing as he does, even more uncomfortable with further undeath around him.
Akkron is somewhat surprised to see another lich here...
"Thank you for your hospitality," he replies, stepping forward in front of the others. "I suppose based on the fact that you have not tried to destroy us that you are not a friend to the Zemochs. What name shall we address you by? I suspect you may already know ours, but if that is not the case, I am Lord Akkron of the Shaded Isle. The others are Khessa, Tyekanik, Mal, Brother Mayard, and Sir Sparhawk."

Mal nods her head in a greeting when Akkron introduces her, and then looks around the room. Picking a spot along the wall to lean against so she can see everyone in the room and the entrance. If it just sop happens to be near some trinkets that can easily be put in her pockets she just might take the opportunity to do so.
Khessa has already been taught by life that while it is wise to assume that a lich means to harm you, exceptions are always possible (indeed, few creatures in the world have helped her more than her Master Akkron). She therefore smiles at the non-hostile undead and when Matic mentions her name she adds: "Nice to meet you!"
Since a pleasant dialogue between liches seems to begin, the blonde arcane warrior lets her mentor speak, content to positioning herself behind him and a little to the side, sincerely intrigued by everything that such an ancient (and intelligent) creature might decide to reveal.

The Lich bows deeply, "My name is Adad-Nirari, it is my honor to make your acquaintance. Would you care for refreshments, or a moment of respite? My home is honored to have you, and I offer hospitality."
"Surely, as Master Akkron will explain to you, matters concerning Azash, Slaanesh and the harm they have done to the Cipsis Empire take precedence... But..." Khessa dares to say, slightly embarrassed "...if as we speak, dear Adad-Nirari, it would be possible for you to have a cabbage-based dish brought and that would not delay the other more important matters... I admit I would certainly appreciate it!"
"It is an honor to make your acquaintance," he says. "I'm afraid that refreshments of food and wine would no longer be of any use to me, a condition I am sure you are quite familiar with. I would certainly not be opposed to taking some time for relaxation and conversation if it is safe to do so... but... there is still the pressing matter that my former apprentice just mentioned, that being the followers of Azash and Slaanesh. Do you know whether there are any more of the dark elves or their collaborators within the compound who could raise an alarm and call for reinforcements?"

When you mention Slaanesh and Azash, he does have a distressed look upon his face. Then he waves his hand, and the man in the toga appears, with the exact dish you want.

He pauses for a moment, then shakes his head. "No, there are no more Zemochs in this old temple."
"Excellent," he replies, pulling out his pipe. "Then it seems we have a few minutes... if it isn't too much trouble, do you happen to have any tobacco? I always like to sample the local flavors when I travel."

Khessa is delighted and opens her blue eyes gratefully: "Thank you, dear!" she smiles at the servant in toga "Again, may I know your name? Unless there's some rule that forbid it, that is..."
The blonde arcane warrior then begins to savor with pleasure the generous portion of corned beef and cabbage received... Tender, spiced just right... With a bit of meat sliced across the grain... "Truly delicious, Adad-Nirari!" she congratulates the undead host "Thank you! Plus, from the expression you made just a moment ago when I mentioned our enemies, I'm convinced we'll get along perfectly!"
The tall adventurer waits for her mentor to also relax for a moment and resume the conversation... After all, there isn't such a rush, after Adad-Nirari confirmed that the 'cleaning' of the Zemoch base has been completed...

Tyekanik clearly relaxes, shrugging to himself realizing that it really does take all kinds. He nods, and the man in the toga departs, and then quickly returns with a soft leather bag, holding a very aromatic smelling tobacco. He motions for you to indulge. As you light your pipe, it was as if he could read your mind, of one of the best blends you had from a good while ago.

The man in the toga bows, "Ninos, my name was Ninos."
For clarity, Adad states "I am sure you have the same ability to use your magical powers to create servants. Ninos was my servant and I was very fond of him, he served me well. Now, he is only a shadow of himself, a spell I believe is the best way to explain it, that I can call on him to serve me again. But my dear friend and servant has been dead these many hundreds of years."

Adad looks at you, and there is a dry chuckle from him. "You may actually be a challenge my large friend, I shall see what I can do." Adad pauses for a moment, then Ninos leaves the chambers. A short time later, an aroma of a grand feast from the halls of Tyekanik's clan arrives before Nino with some wispy looking servants bring a feast for a king and with a grand table, set it before you with a large tankards of ale and mead.
Mal looks over at the food that is brought before Tye and her stomach grumbles as she smells it. "Sorry not to be a bother, but could I," she chuckles, "bother you for some food as well. My apologies I should have asked earlier but I did not notice how hungry I was until seeing that gorgeous feast." She will then move over to where Tye is sitting, grabbing a chair and will continue to look around the room at all the curiosities.
