As the tomes are being inspected, the statues being to glow red, and transform into 5 demons, colored red. Three of the demons are armed with great swords, two with an orange-colored blades. As you have spotted them transforming, you have the initiative as they have not fully formed yet.
Khessa, comforted by Alfred's presence behind her, positions herself between the Rubezhal Demon to her left and Vrox, so the fey hero can safely attack from a distance.
The blonde arcane warrior gives the Shield Guardian a quick nod, and he promptly unleashes the power twisted within him, making her incredibly fast.
The tall adventuress then proceeds to dash from one side of the monster to the other, thrusting her Death Lance now from the left toward its flank, now from the right toward its neck, now toward its thigh, now directly into its chest...
[[ Alfred casts Haste on Khessa. Khessa multiattacks with her Death Lance (also using the additional action granted by Haste to attack). ]]
Let me know if I have to modify the deployments for the party
[[OOC: Positions for Vrox and Tyekanik are fine.]]
When Tyekanik realizes that they're under attack, he gestures toward the the two states to the east (the one closest to Brother Maynard and the one closest to Yôht himself) and says, "Clarac, Yôht, look out!" His voice sounds odd and changes tone while he says that because he's growing to Large-size as he says it. He pushes the charmed Golgari (their guide) back into the hall to the sought as he says, "Stay behind me."
Movement: Tyek stays where he is, his increased size and reach putting him close enough to strike three of the statues. When he grows to Large-size, he takes up the entire 2x2 square area right in front of the south door, preventing the statues from getting to their charmed Golgari. He lets Yôht pass him to attack (he assumes) the statue that's closest to the dwarf. Bonus Action: rage, imbuing Annam's Greataxe as his Elemental Cleaver with thunder damage Action: Two Reckless Attacks with Annam's Greataxe as his Elemental Cleaver (thunder) Tyek targets the statue (Atæshia) just east of the door, hoping to combine with Yôht to take destroy one of the statue-demons as quickly as possible. Attack 1: 35, Damage: 28 (magical thunder) + 22 (force) = 50 (total) Attack 2: 36, Damage: 29 (magical thunder) + 29 (force) = 58 (total) Free Action: Talking
Because of Reckless Attack, all attacks against Tyek have advantage until the start of his next turn. But if these statues count as fiends or elementals, attacks would not have advantage because he's protected by [Tooltip Not Found]. (Advantage on attacks because Tyek used Reckless Attack and Disadvantage from being within range of Khessa's sacred idol cancel out.) `

Round 1: Vrox
"Thank you, Khessa! Whether these statues be enchanted constructs or corrupted by fiends, they'll soon wish they had stayed still!", Vrox says. The satyr was unfortunately absorbed in looking at the tomes in the library and did not have his weapons at hand when he realized that the statues were attacking. Since the group is so spread out among their opponents, Vrox tries to ensure that neither Khessa nor their Angry Giant faces attacks from too many of these things before they can destroy one or two of them. Vrox grasps the 8-pointed start of Mystra that he wears and casts a divine Command at two of the statues. Since they seem to be inhabited by fiendish spirits, he issues the command in Abyssal (or Infernal, whichever seems the best match based on his understanding of their foes). Then Vrox quickly and quietly moves to the west, past Khessa, ducking into the hallway there since she has effectively cut off the closest statue-demon's route to him.
Vrox gets his Longbow out of his quiver and hides for moment in the west hallway while he gets his bearings and decides which statue to target first.
Movement: move 20-ft northwest, ending his turn 10-ft down the passageway to the west. After he finishes his action, he tries to blend with the shadows in the hallway while he surveys the fight and picks a target. Action: Upcast spell (LVL 2 slot) Command, issuing the command: "Halt!" Target: the Atæshia closest to Khessa and the Rebezahl statue at the center of the room (directly north of of Tyek) The targets must succeed on a DC 19 WIS saving throw or follow the command on its next turn. Halt: The target doesn't move and takes no actions. Bonus Action: Hide - Stealth: 32 (using Vanish feature, advantage from Shadowfell Brand Tattoo) Free Action: Talking
Note-in this phase-all attacks have advantage as they have not fully formed
[[OOC: Ah. OK. Then Tyekanik's attack rolls stand, but he does not need Reckless Attack to get advantage. Since he did not use Reckless Attack, if they attack before his next turn, then their attacks would have disadvantage because of the Protection from Evil and Good of the idol statuette that Khessa carries.]]
Clarac (likely) detects the demonic presence within the statues with her divine sense and gets ready to fight. She raises her sword and attack the demon nearest her.
Khessa's Perception: 17
