[[OOC: Last round, Sparhawk attacked the center north demon. Did he move back to the SW demon? Or has that demon moved north, closer to the center north demon?]]
This time, Khessa's physical and magical defenses are more than sufficient to prevent the demon from striking her; she smiles confidently and, trying to exploit the moment while the demon is still regaining its guard, strikes back with the Death Lance, striking at its arms and belly.
Lord Akkron, meanwhile, seeing the demons falling, saves his most powerful spells for another occasion and simply directs rays of frigid death at the most wounded foe, hoping to finish him off.
Correct, top center red demon and bottom right Ataeshia are dead. The one that Khessa and Akkron hit is badly wounded
[[OOC: Got it. I must not have been tracking hits incorrectly. I had the top-center red demon as much less damaged than the one in the NW corner by Khessa.]]
The first Atæshia demon-possessed statue destroyed, Tyek whirls around, pivoting from the east to the west.
Movement: None. Just turning in place and still blocking the demon/statue's ability to get through the southern exit to the charmed Golgari who is in that hallway. Action: Two Reckless Attacks with Annam's Greataxe as his Elemental Cleaver (thunder) Target the remaining Atæshia demon-possessed statue until it is defeated. Turning and moving slightly east to Clarac's red demon if the first opponent falls. Attack 1: 22, Damage: 26 (magical thunder) + 25 (force) = 51 (total) Attack 2: 28, Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. (magical thunder) + Unable to parse dice roll. (force) = 0 (total) Bonus Action: if either of the attacks was a critical hit or reduced a creature to 0 HP, the Great Weapon Master feat allows him to make an extra attack as a bonus action. If that triggers, then GWM extra attack: 26, Damage: 27 (magical thunder) + 19 (force) = 46 (total)
Since these spirits are presumably fiends and affected by Prot. from Evil, and Tyek is within 30-ft of Khessa, then the fiends would make straight attack rolls against Tyek this round. (Disadvantage from Khessa's sacred idol cancels out Advantage on attacks because from Tyek's use of Reckless Attack.)
Round 3: Tyekanik Action: Two Reckless Attacks with Annam's Greataxe as his Elemental Cleaver (thunder) Target the remaining Atæshia demon-possessed statue until it is defeated. Turning and moving slightly east to Clarac's red demon if the first opponent falls. Attack 1: 24, Damage: 23 (magical thunder) + 26 (force) = 49 (total) Attack 2: 37, Damage: 47 (magical thunder) + 42 (force) = 89 (total) Bonus Action: if either of the attacks was a critical hit or reduced a creature to 0 HP, the Great Weapon Master feat allows him to make an extra attack as a bonus action. If that triggers, then GWM extra attack: 23, Damage: 24 (magical thunder) + 6 (force) = 30 (total)
[[OOC: Just pointing out that Attack #2 was a (massive!) critical hit. Therefore, the GWM feature triggers, and he makes a 3rd attack. Either against the Atæshia demon if neither of his first two attacks killed it, or against the remaining red demon if they did. I continue to be impressed by kevtr0n's Tyekanik build: 168 damage in one turn!]]
Vrox steps out of the doorway on the west end of the room and says, "I feel so conflicted. It's sad to destroy the art of the Golgari sculptors, but it's a great joy to send these demons back to the Abyss!" He draws his bow and targets any demons that Tyek did not already destroy.
Movement: Now that the red demon at the NW corner of the room has been killed, Vrox moves back into the room from the doorway at the west. He'll move east and north to get a good angle on the remaining foes. Bonus Action: Reassign mark to his first target. Action: Two attacks with Dragon's Wrath Longbow (150/600) Targeting Clarac's red demon and then the remaining Atæshia demon if Tyek did not already finish them off. Attack 1: 29 Damage: 18 (magical piercing, including HM dmg) + 9 (radiant) + 3 (psychic) = 30 (total) Attack 2: 20 Damage: 9 (magical piercing) + 10 (radiant) + 2 (psychic) = 21 (total) Free Action: Talking
Marked Target: None at the start of the round since Khessa killed the demon at the NW of the room.
If Tyekanik already finished off the demons, then Vrox would hurry back to the original (southern) entrance to ensure that the charmed Golgari is still uninjured.
