Come on, Master Akkron! Don't leave all the fun to us, blast some enemies into nothingness!
[[OOC: I'm just stuck here knowing that Fireball is useless lol. Okay, let's see what I can actually do]]
Akkron sighs... fiends. He absolutely hates fighting fiends; they all seem to be immune to both fireballs and often resist necrotic damage as well. So, with a sigh, he turns his attention to the Duergar Despot. He lifts a hand and casts Blight (at 5th-level)
Blight vs. Duergar Despot: 51 necrotic damage on a failed DC 24 Con save (half-damage on success)

Khessa is determined to finish off the surviving Devil: "Sorry, I don't know a spell to unsummon you... so, we have to do it the hard way!"
...And the words haven't even died from the blonde arcane warrior's lips, as she already slashes her target's side with a Wave of Sorrow, first from right to left, then the other way around, with a return slash, before swirling in a rapid circle and descending from top to bottom towards the fiend's head.
Khessa is determined to finish off the surviving Devil: "Sorry, I don't know a spell to unsummon you... so, we have to do it the hard way!"
Round 2: Tyekanik
"Also known as the fun way!", Tyek roars as he moves forward. He raises Annam's Greataxe and hews at the next devil.
Movement: Move to within 10-ft of the devil so that it's within his reach while leaving room for his smaller allies to attack it. If Tyek manages to kill the devil, he either moves to block any other threats from getting to his allies, or if there's no other obvious threat, he moves back to let the magic users do whatever they need to do to close any summoning circles or magical gates. Action: Two Reckless Attacks against the Horned Devil with Annam's Greataxe as his Elemental Cleaver (thunder) Attack 1: 37, Damage: 57 (thunder) + 41 (force) = 98 (total) Attack 2: 32, Damage: 24 (thunder) + 12 (force) = 36 (total) Bonus Action: if either of the attacks was a critical hit, the Great Weapon Master feat allows him to make an extra attack as a bonus action. Free Action: Talking
Since we're fighting fiends and Tyek is within 30-ft of Khessa, the opponents' attacks against him should be a straight attack roll. (Disadvantage from Khessa's sacred idol's Prot. from Evil cancels out Advantage on attacks from Tyek's use of Reckless Attack.)
The first attack was a critical hit, so if the devil is still alive, he hits it again with Annam's Greataxe as his Elemental Cleaver (thunder). Otherwise, if there's another visible opponent once the devil dies, he attacks that opponent.
GWM extra attack (as a Bonus Action): 36, Damage: 19 (magical slashing) + 22 (force) = 41 (total)
Since it looks like Khessa and Tyek have the situation with the devils under control, Vrox moves west again, back to the previous chamber. As soon as he comes in view of one of the Duergar who are trying to attack from their right flank, he begins firing his bow. As he moves, he shouts to them (in Undercommon): "Join your compatriots and resist the devil-worshippers. Don't throw your lives away. We will not kill you if you put up your weapons and stop attacking us! We have already sent the devils back to their infernal plane; they cannot help you." He ends his turn by moving behind one of the columns in the previous room, trying to get out-of-sight from the enemy Duergar.
Movement: Up to 40-ft of movement to move back to the previous chamber and take cover / hide behind one of the columns. Action: Two attacks with Dragon's Wrath Longbow (150/600) Attack 1 vs. Duergar Warlord: 24 Damage: 10 (magical piercing) + 6 (radiant) + 5 (psychic) = 21 (total) Attack 2 vs. Duergar Despot: 32 Damage: 15 (magical piercing) + 12 (radiant) + 4 (psychic) = 31 (total) Bonus Action: Hide - Stealth: 36 (using Vanish feature, advantage from Shadowfell Brand Tattoo) Free Action: Talking to the Duergar, trying to convince them to surrender, assuming that it's with disadvantage since they're clearly hostile. Persuasion min(20, 31)

[[OOC: I rolled Vrox's first attack with advantage since he was almost certainly hidden/unseen at the start of his turn. ]]
As the 2nd devil falls, you see a portal design on the floor, and it is beginning to shimmer. You feel the energy and a humming noise as it appears another devil is about to enter the room
Khessa tries to ruin the portal design, perhaps having a bit of Wave of Sorrow's acid corrode the floor upon wich the runes are inscribed.
If this does not seem to work, she looks at her undead mentor: "Do you think you can end rhis magic, Master Akkron? Dispatching devils is fun... but not if they can keep comning at will!"
Lord Akkron utters a curse in some forgotten language as he looks at the gate... his jaw does not move as he stares at the gateway.
The easiest solution would be to seal this gate via a spell, he says, voice echoing through his ancient skull. But... of course THAT is one of the spells I have neither written nor prepared in the spellbook that I am carrying. If it is the only way, I can simply wish to replicate the spell, but we should be SURE that my most powerful magic will not be needed a second time in this pit. And someone please remind me to buy some spell scrolls as soon as we are finished here...
The lich makes a quiet mental list of spells he needs: a few additional damage spells that can actually hurt fiends and undead... gate seal... other stuff he will probably think of when he's already made the adjustments... he can't help but wonder if Vecna ever has days like this.
Vrox hurries into the northeast chamber again and looks at the portal. Listening to Lork Akkron, his brow furrows. He asks the wizard/lich, "If you think that it would help, I could try to dispelled the circle's magic? I don't suppose you can suppress the magic of the portal? Or...do you know whether it's possible to stop the spell by damaging the circle itself without suppressing its magic first? If so, I'm certain that Tyek, Khessa, and Clarac would enjoy a contest to see who could do the most damage the fastest!"
Vrox does not think that it's a good idea for Lord Akkron to use his most powerful magic until they're absolutely certain that this portal is the last (and most powerful) of the Nefarious Duo's evil influence in Uhubreen. Looking to Clarac, Vrox asks, "How about you, fair knight? Does your divine power give you any way to forbid the devils from coming through the portal into this plane? Or of barring such a portal?"
If Lord Akkron thinks that it's worth a try, Vrox will attempt to cast Dispel Magic on the portal. He can also upcast that spell it if Lord Akkronbelieves that it would guarantee that the spell would be effective in disabling the portal.
[[ OOC: Vrox can only upcast to level 5. If the portal is a higher-level spell than that, I guess there's no benefit in upcasting, right? ]]
Clarac considers what to do about the summoning circle. She says, "Dispelling the magic could work, I hope. Destroying the floor may also break the circle. If needed, I could create a magic circle of my own as a stopgap until we can find a more permanent solution. Perhaps there is a power source nearby or a way to shut off the magic."
OOC:
Action: Wisdom (Perception) check to look for a way to deactivate the magic circle --> 17
She will begin to cast Magic Circle if Vrox's Dispel Magic doesn't work.
