Khessa is impressed by the last (but for sure not least) Demon, but while the souls of the fallen keep empowering her blows, she goes on and tries to finish the fiend off with a furry of slasesh of her imposing magical blade.
[[ OOC: Action: Multiattack with Wave of Sorrow. ]]
This demon is almost as formidable as Camazotz! If Khessa didn't already kill the Rubezahl demon, Tyek turns his attention to it and throws himself recklessly at it.
Movement: Move around the demon to ensure that his allies have room to attack it. Action: Two Reckless Attacks with Annam's Greataxe as his Elemental Cleaver (thunder) Attack 1: 28, Damage: 29 (thunder) + 25 (force) = 54 (total) Attack 2: 37, Damage: 66 (thunder) + 47 (force) = 113 (total) The first time he hits, Tyek also invokes his Blood Fury Tattoo to deal additional damage: 15 (necrotic) Tyek regains HP equal to the amount of necrotic damage dealt. Bonus Action: if either of the attacks was a critical hit, the Great Weapon Master feat allows him to make an extra attack as a bonus action. Free Action: invoking his Blood Fury Tattoo.
Since we're fighting fiends and Tyek is within 30-ft of Khessa, the opponents' attacks against him should be a straight attack roll. (Disadvantage from Khessa's sacred idol's Prot. from Evil cancels out Advantage on attacks from Tyek's use of Reckless Attack.)
Round 5: Tyekanik Action: Two Reckless Attacks with Annam's Greataxe as his Elemental Cleaver (thunder) Attack 1: 28, Damage: 29 (thunder) + 25 (force) = 54 (total) Attack 2: 37, Damage: 66 (thunder) + 47 (force) = 113 (total) The first time he hits, Tyek also invokes his Blood Fury Tattoo to deal additional damage: 15 (necrotic) Tyek regains HP equal to the amount of necrotic damage dealt. Since the second attack was a critical hit, Tyek makes an extra attack as a bonus action.
Bonus Action: if either of the attacks was a critical hit or reduced a creature to 0 HP, the Great Weapon Master feat allows him to make an extra attack as a bonus action. GWM extra attack: 36, Damage: 33 (thunder) + 23 (force) = 56 (total)
Assuming no resistances, Tyek's total damage on his turn is 238

Lord Akkron approaches the paralyzed king and calmly disarms him. Then, he pushes the frozen figure towards the Clarac. Lord Akkron's touch sends a deep chill to the king's very bones, but it does no harm upon him.
"Now, Your Majesty,"the lich says. "I think it is time for us to have a conversation about the company which you have kept. I spared you as the sovereign of this land, but a king can still fall. So choose your words carefully."
With that, Lord Akkron releases his hold upon the king, allowing him once again to move and speak.
'This is a checkmate if I've ever seen one!' Khessa thinks, smiling, at the words and acts of her undead mentor.
The blonde arcane warrior believes that the Nefarious Duo's plots have finally been foiled here too, and tries to harbor optimistic thoughts... Free from demonic influence, the Golgari will be able to learn from this terrible experience and perhaps dedicate themselves to reviving their culture, rather than giving in to the lure of warmongering deities!
The tall adventuress is curious to hear the king's response—mostly to see if he is still under the demons' influence or if, with their defeat, he has regained control—and she is rational enough to realize that continuing to support the demons now would be foolish.

Round 5
Khessa is impressed by the last (but for sure not least) Demon, but while the souls of the fallen keep empowering her blows, she goes on and tries to finish the fiend off with a furry of slasesh of her imposing magical blade.
[[ OOC: Action: Multiattack with Wave of Sorrow. ]]
Khessa's Spirit-empowered Multiattack with Wave of Sorrow:
1st Attack: 25 Damage: 30 (magical slashing) + 10 (acid) + 6 (radiant) = 46
2nd Attack: 24 Damage: 29 (magical slashing) + 15 (acid) + 15 (radiant) = 59
3rd Attack: 23 Damage: 30 (magical slashing) + 5 (acid) + 9 (radiant) = 44
Both the bite and the first claw hit. Tyek uses his Reactive Resistance from the Gift of the Chromatic Dragon.
Reaction: Reactive Resistance (fire) in response to the bite, gaining resistance to that fire damage.
Tyek takes a total of 80 damage = 40/2 (B/P/S resistance) + 33/2 (reactive resistance) + 36/2 (B/P/S resistance) + 26
[[ OOC: @Aaggie - did Vrox see anything behind that curtain at the east end of the chamber? ]]
Round 5: Tyekanik

Round 5: Clarac
Clarac continues attacking the remaining demon, assuming Khessa and Tyekanik haven't hacked it to bits already.
OOC:
Action: Attack demon
Attack: 25 Damage: 14 (Magical Slashing) + 3 (Radiant) + 19 (Radiant) = 36
Extra attack: 37 Damage: 18 (Magical Slashing) + 5 (Radiant) + 7 (Radiant) = 30
Ongoing: Holy Nimbus (Round 5 of 10) does 10 radiant damage to every enemy in the room
All strikes hit
It appeared to be a storeroom with crates in it
All strikes hit
After Tyek's attack, the demon lord was driven to its knees, as you finished it off and it falls dead before the group.
All threats are dead; the king now stares at everyone as he is still magically held

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
