"Okay, then!" Khessa smiles - and almost immediately the bat that usually remains hidden under her thick golden locks, at the base of her neck, takes flight.
(OOC: @DM: Khessa will maintain telepathic contact with Anator, her familiar - and brother - unless the distance becomes excessive. If he accidentally finds himself in danger she will return him to his pocket dimension and, immediately afterwards, have him reappear next to her. However, if no mishaps occur, she waits for Anator to complete his first reconnaissance, find the Zemoch base, get a general idea of the layout of the place and return to report).
Anator takes flight, and begins a circular search pattern in the area. Mostly an old forest gives way to fields, that are overgrown with the exception of a few dirt roads and paths, While resting in a tree near one of the roads, the bat spots 4 horsemen ride by, an ashen grey in color from their armor and cloaks. Anator follows the riders, staying far enough back to not be seen, until the riders arrive at the ruins of an unknown type. There are fallen stones and masonry, but still a form of a recognizable ruin.
As Anator flies around the ruins, it spots a camp of the riders in the northeast and northwest corners of the ruins. In the southwest corner, numerous skeletons lay about intermigled with the fallen stones of the ruins.
When Anator returns and reports, Khessa tells the companions everything the familiar saw.
"You did great, my brother!" the blonde arcane warrior compliments her, finally scratching him delicately under his fur "Your description was so precise that I almost seemed to see this place with my own eyes!"
"As I just told you, Anator has not seen where any prisoners are being held," the tall adventuress turns to Mal "but the skeletons he has seen must be the remains of unfortunate sacrificial victims... Or they are taken and sacrificed almost immediately, without holding them captive long, or the cells are hidden. What do you think, Mal? Do you want to try to sneak into the compound for a more thorough examination? Or do we attack directly and wipe them out?"
Thinking for a moment about the description Khessa describes Mal will turn to Tye and quietly says, "Well my big bald friend, shall we go have some fun? I am thinking we go to the NE campsite as that appears to be higher than the other locations and that is probably where the leader is camped, unless of course there is an underground area. The skeletons we should ignore for now, because who doesn't think that they are just undead lying on the ground waiting to be activated or some such." Chuckling slightly she turns to Khessa, "Khessa if it wouldn't be too much of a bother, can you have your brother keep an eye on us and if we are discovered," Mal's eyes give a side eye to Tye with a grin don her face, "can the rest of you lot come to our rescue? Our sleeping cleric friends over there can take care of the undead while we deal with the other unfortunate idiots who have chosen the wrong side to side with."
"Sound good to everyone?" Mal quietly asks.
[OOC: If everyone is in agreement, Mal will set out crossbow in hand and move silently down and around the camp.]
"Of course I'll watch over you, Mal!" Khessa winks "Where could I find another bounty hunter willing to hunt Lolth?! Anator will keep an eye on you; if you are discovered, we will all intervene too. We all will get as close to the camp as we can without being discovered, then you will move forward... and Anator will keep an eye on you from above".
You quietly make your way towards the northeast corner of the ruins. As you get closer, you can see the ruins appear to be that of a temple of some type, not much of the original sculpting or work on the stone is visible, having been worn over time. As you get closer, you can smell a campfire, and cooking meat on the wind. As you continue to move, the sound of voices can be heard, but it is not a language you understand. You come around a corner of fallen stone and high grass, and can see the camp before you in the northeast corner, within the outline of fallen walls of an outbuilding.
You see six armored riders, their mounts tied to a rope along an old wall. They wear ashen grey plate armor, a curved sword at their hips. One is checking on the horses, one is gathering firewood, two are cooking, and the other two are sitting, cleaning and sharpening their swords while talking to one another.

“Let us see what we can discover when we get closer,”Tyekanik says, crouching as they approach. Wearing nearly nothing, there is little to make noise to give him away, and he keeps a tight grip on his massive axe.
Looking to the figures he says, “Shall we report back? Or just take this group out now? How quickly do you think they could set off an alarm…?”
((We might be able to take out 6 before they get a chance to act… if we can ‘surprise’ them, and they are normalish mobs we could get a few down before turn 1, and then maybe if we have high initiative finish them off?))

No change, there are the 6 riders, but you do notice there are no guards posted around or near them
Whispering back to Tye, "I am sure we could and I doubt anyone in this camp is any real threat to us, I do not recognize their speech and I assume you do not as well. We can not 100% be sure these are Zemochs, lets continue around the camp and see what we see, before we commit to a direction." With that, she will look straight up into the sky and gives a heads up and make a motion that they are continuing around the outskirts of the camp.
Anator, meanwhile, flies and continues to keep an eye on the situation... Mal and Tyekanik are so stealthy that he doesn't see them, but he is sure that, if there are problems and they need help, they will take care of getting noticed themselves!
Akkron hesitates for a moment... then he calls his black cat familiar from her pocket dimension.
"Hex... you go ahead and keep an eye on those two as well,"he says. "If anything notices you, let me know and then go straight to your pocket dimension where you'll be safe and sound."

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
You move in a circular route around the base of the small hill where the riders are camped. You are not noticed as you move in and around the fallen stones of the once large temple. (I am assuming you are moving along the north side of the hill, between it and the cliff). The sheer side of the small hill easily conceals you from the rider's camp, even if they were to approach the edge. The sun is beginning to set, and long shadows are forming, making it more easier to conceal yourselves.
Keeping to the north, you can go up the stone steps to the raised central part of the temple ruins. You decern a faded image on the stone, perhaps what the temple was to.
You continue your stealthy movement around the ruins. As you come around the central area, and near the cliff on the west side, you spot a second rider camp in the ruins of an old building in the northwest corner of the complex. Like the first one, there are 6 riders wearing greyish plate armor. Their horses are secured to a line, while they sit around a fire cooking. You do see one of them standing watch, but facing to the west.
"Not sure why they are separated, safety or maybe different groups that work together but don't necessarily like each other." Mal shrugs, "Too many questions and not enough answers, maybe we can keep one of the higher ups in one of these camps alive and ask them, maybe. "We should complete out travel around the perimeter and then report back and then decide on what we should do. More than likely we should split our forces and attack both camps at the same time, making sure we have range in each group to make sure there are no runners." Mal looks at the guard once more making sure they are not paying attention and then continues to go around the camps.
The sun has just about set, the shadows even longer and darker now, concealing you. You move around and you can see what is left of the temple building in the southwest corner. From the blackened stone, it looked like something may have exploded, causing the building to collapse. Because of the darkening sky, it is hard to see inside the ruins. The fires of the two camps can be seen flickering in their corners. You continue along the southern edge of the ruins, a steep cliff making its way to the valley floor. You see no guards or indications of a camp in the southeast corner of the camp.

The mosaic you see is just the central figure in the image, holding the blue oyster
Mal makes a mental note to show the others the relief, and maybe they will know what this place used to be for
She will then continue her way around the site inspecting the surroundings.
