Mal swings back into the opening and crouches so as to not block anyone else and then fires two shots between Tye's legs to strike out at the remaining gargoyle. Chuckling as she yells out to Tye, "Don't squeeze your legs together or crouch!"
1st H-Xbow attack: 25 (30-5) To hit Damage: 8 Piercing 2 Necrotic 10 Sharpshooter = 20 Total
2nd H-Xbow attack: 14 (19-5) To hit Damage: 13 Piercing 7 Necrotic 10 Sharpshooter = 20 Total
20 Sneak Attack Damage (on 1st hit)
Then she will twirl away again behind cover just to make sure she stays out of everyone else's way.
'Ooopps!' Khessa thinks 'I went too far... I softened it up a little too much! But, hey, at least the first statue I left it to Tyekanik... I kept my word'.
The blonde arcane warrior puts away the Death Lance and retrieves from Alfred the Staff of Power again... she prefers to be ready to cast an emergency-Wall of Force in case of collapses.
The tall adventurer briefly examines the remains of the gargoyles, curious if there are any particular inserts in their bodies, then she is ready to continue.
Patting Tye gently on the back as she passes by, "I am sure she will leave more for you to play with in the next fight." Mall will advance farther down the corridor to see if their brief explosion of combat has brought any unwelcome visitors from further on down the passageway. After she goes about 60' she will wait for the other to finish up and then continue on her way, unless of course she comes to a door or a side passageway, then she will stop.

These are guardian type of gargoyles, you do not find anything resembling a shard of black, only their crumbled remains.

As you move forward, you find a crumbled section of the wall, and feel air coming from it, like it is a passage to something on the other side. It is big enough for a person to walk through
Mal waits for the others to join her and then points out the crumbled area, "Khessa, mind sending Alfred into the area and see what lays beyond? Then while he is doing that I will continue down the passageway to see what I see."
"Perhaps," Khessa reflects "for this purpose Anator is more suitable than Alfred..." and immediately the bat appears from who knows where and begins to fly around her head, ready to act "It could be less conspicuous, both because it is more small and because it is shaped like a common nocturnal animal. I can see through its senses, if I concentrate - and its senses include a very special way of 'seeing', which allows it to identify things even in complete darkness. And if there is trouble, I can make it disappear instantly, sending him to his pocket dimension, out of danger. I will send him".
The blonde arcane warrior, protected by Alfred, begins to focus on Anator's senses... and soon she perceives the world exactly as her brother does! Now, whatever Anator perceives, Khessa also perceives. Anator begins to explore the crumbled area. What do they find?
Akkron doesn't have a whole lot to do right at the moment, so he'll go ahead and just stay near Khessa in case something tries to attack her while she is preoccupied with scouting. Granted, the shield guardian will probably be more than adequate protection given what they have seen so far, but one can never be too careful.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Mal waits for the others to join her and then points out the crumbled area, "Khessa, mind sending Alfred into the area and see what lays beyond? Then while he is doing that I will continue down the passageway to see what I see."
The path opens into an old and very ancient cavern that it seemed the temple had been built inside. Overtime, parts of the wall has crumbled, allowing access to this old section of the original cavern. It stretches to thew north and to the south.
Mal will return to the group and let them know what she has found. Now depending on what Khessa finds, will determine which direction they decide to go.
Mal-As you pass the crumbled area, the hallway turns a 45 degree to the right (SW) and goes for 50 feet, then turns again 45 degrees (W) for another 50 feet and comes to a set of double dopors.
In the cavern, to the north about 100 feet is an underground stream. Heading to the south, passing the entry point, it opens into three smaller corridors. The one on the right has rubble in it, but passable. The one in the center and the left is a hole in the floor of the cavern, going down.
Once all informstions are shared, Khessa reasons aloud with the others: "The cavern should be the most ancient part... and arguably the most intriguing. It is possible that the forces of Azash have not unveiled all of it"s secrets! But I'd say to finish cleaning up the most recent part first, so to neutralize the lingering Azash's forces as soon as possible. So, I advise to go through the double door first. And you, my friends? What do you think?"
While they are a stout, dark wood, there are no inscriptions on the door, or around the door. There appears to be no traps or early warning devices of any type.
Mal will quietly open one of the doors up and peek inside before opening it further to squeeze on through, leavin git open enough for the others to follow.
You see a large store and supply room. From what you can see at the door, there is a large support column to your front about 20 feet, the room goes beyond your vision to the right, straight and left, until you step in more. As you venture slowly in, the room is lit by large lanterns suspended by four large support columns. You estimate this room is about 50 feet by 50 feet. There are shelves along the wall, and stacked between the support columns are bales and barrels.
Khessa, once she enters, first tries to spot any other exits from the store room, then to estimate, based on the quantity and nature of the goods present, how many people and days those stocks could be enough for (even if only approximately)... Will there be enough food for, say, one person for a month? Or maybe ten people for a week? Or...?

Khessa's thrusts:
1st Attack: 33 Damage: 21 (piercing) + 22 (necrotic) = 43
2nd Attack: 26 Damage: 19 (piercing) + 11 (necrotic) = 30
3rd Attack: 38 Damage: 17 (piercing) + 11 (necrotic) = 28
I strikes true, 1 misses.
The death lance chips away at the gargoyle, and with the last thrust, crumbles to the ground

"Let's see what surprises there are then." Tykanik says as he heads towards the double doors.
