"I can disintegrate the block to make sure that the circle has been broken," Lord Akkron says. "Assuming that we cannot afford to wait an hour for it to disappear on its own."
If no one objects, he will cast the spell so that we can see the remains of the circle clearly.
(OOC: I think that the block is considered a mundane object as it is not a magic item).
[[OOC: That seems expensive. Tyekanik has a +20 in Athletics and can rage to Huge size, and we have a couple of belts of giant strength in the party. It's a 5-ft cube, so maybe Clarac, Khessa, and Tyek--working together--could "roll" it onto it's side, revealing the floor where the summoning circle was. It's probably worth a try before Lord Akkron burns a spell slot to eliminate the object that Khessa just created!]]
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
[[OOC: Assuming that there are no objections to the "Angry Giant" trying to roll the 5-ft cube of platinum off of the summoning circle, possibly with either Khessa and/or Clarac also pushing it, since it doesn't cost us any resources...]]
Bonus Action: enter a rage, growing to Large size and imbuing Annam's Greataxe as his Elemental Cleaver with thunder damage
Action: trying to roll the 80-ton platinum cube, Athletics33 (advantage while reading)
[[ OOC: Yes, the cube is undoubtedly a mandane object, not a magical one! But I agree with the idea of making a 'physical' attempt first, one that does not require the use of spell slots. ]]
Khessa immediately helps Tyekanik, hoping that their prodigious combined forces will allow them to 'roll' onto another face, thus revealing the Circle below and allowing its status to be assessed.
Bonus Action: enter a rage, growing to Large size and imbuing Annam's Greataxe as his Elemental Cleaver with thunder damage

[[OOC: Tyek has advantage on STR checks while raging, so he doesn't actually need help. Not sure whether Khessa also needs to make a check, but at least it's more plausible that two people with strength equal to that of a storm giant could possibly tip over / roll an 88-ton cube.]]
Tyekanik suggests pushing forward and "up" along the top edge/corner of the cube, using the cube's own weight to keep it from slipping on the floor. If they can move it at all, it'll be pivoting along the opposite edge on the floor, and he can use his other hand to start pulling "down" on the other other top corner. That way, he's helping to get the cube rotating. Once they get it up onto its back edge, it should be easier to keep it going. And once it's past the tipping point, the weight of the cube will finish the job for them.
Tyek lines up with the cube, mostly standing "beside" it with respect to the direction they'll be rolling the cube. That way, there's plenty of room for Khessa on the other side, and he won't be falling into the cube as it rolls. He puts a big hand on one of the top corners of the cube to get a feeling for it, and he scuffs his feet around where he'll be standing, clearing away the leaves so that he won't slip.
When Khessa is ready, Tyek squats slightly so that he can push with his legs, back, and arms all at the same time. Then, with great breaths at each number, Tyek counts down to start: "One. ... Two. ... Three! HUURRRRGH!" He lets out a roar, straining against the weight of the big cube of platinum. As he and Khessa begin to attempt to "roll" the massive cube onto his side, Tyek quickly grows to Large size, raging at thought of a feat of strength too great for Annam's champion. He throws his own increased weight into the effort.
Khessa sighs with relief: "Thank goodness... the explosion had given me hope of success, but it was certainly better to verify it with our own eyes!"
The blonde arcane warrior then returns with renewed interest to the High Mage's library: "Now, while we wait for the Devils to tear the lich to pieces or for the opposite to happen... what's better, to kill time, than some pleasant arcane reading?"
The tall adventuress takes the time to perform a a ritual that gives her the ability to detect magical auras; after which, she begins to examine the various writings present in the library, curious to make her own (at least in part) the vast magical knowledge that the powerful lich must have accumulated. She is leaving aside any writings that appear to be magical for the time being, intending to identify them later (or to let someone else identify them in the meantime, if anyone wants to contribute in this sense).
"Huh... I didn't think physics would allow that..." Akkron mutters, watching the two insanely strong warriors shoving the block out of the way. "Now... I think maybe it's best that someone explain to the devils what's really going on..."
Akkron considers for a moment...
"Actually... I think we should summon Haraphaen and explain exactly what happened and who I am. I suspect it will make things easier if he tells the other devils what is really happening."
If no one else does it, Akkron himself will take a step down the stairwell and call to Haraphaen.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
"Oh, yes, Silly me..." Khessa facepalms "We don't want them to rush in here believing you are the High Mage!"
So the blonde arcane warrior, leaving the library for a moment, summons Haraphaen and explains exactly what happened. She then comes back and resumes her activity.
"Huh... I didn't think physics would allow that..."
"Praise be to Annam! His might flows through me," says Tyek, as his rage ends and he returns to his normal (still big) size. "The All-Father shaped the world! There's nothing in it that is too heavy for him to move!"
Tyek looks around. He asks Clarac, "The lich's spirit jar...is it still higher up this tree-tower?" If so, does he see a stairway or any other way upstairs from the current room or from the library?

Vrox cheers in celebration as Tyekanik and Khessa successfully move the big platinum block off of the summoning circle. He's happy and excited to see that the summoning circle seems to have been destroyed. He looks to Lord Akkron and asks with concern, "Do you think that the High Mage knows that his summoning circle has been destroyed?"
So the blonde arcane warrior, leaving the library for a moment, summons Haraphaen and explains exactly what happened. She then comes back and resumes her activity.
While Khessa and Lord Akkron are handling Haraphaen, Vrox goes back to the wax-covered desk for now:
As you inspect the desk, you find a chain that is attached to something in the drawer, a trap mechanism of some type.
If nothing else happens first, Vrox is interested to see whether he can open the door without triggering the trap (or disarm the trap). He recommends that everyone stands back -- "Just in case I trigger some terrible magical trap." He hopes that the others can rescue him if he ends up frozen in time or turned into a toad or something.
Vrox - Sleight of Hand: 31, trying to disarm the desk's trap

Clarac wanders around the summoning circle room, trying to get a sense of the direction of the phylactery. She reacts a little too slowly to help move the giant metal cube, and by the time she gets over there the job is already done.
She will tell Vrox whatever the current reading she gets from the Locate Object spell.
OOC:
Based on the map, it looks like there's a staircase in the summoning circle room we haven't taken yet.
Concentration: Locate Object (6.5 mins or so remain)

You are able to disarm the trap, that allows the drawer to be open. You find inside the drawer a book, and a canister to which the chain was connected to.

You sense that it is still above you, and to the north
Considering that Vrox has probably just gotten his hands on the High Mage's grimoire and that Clarac will not be able to sense the location of the phylactery forever, Khessa reluctantly abandons her quest for arcane knowledge: "Well... With the Devils wanting his skin and his spellbook gone, the High Mage will probably have some problems to deal with. Let's find the object that preserves his essence and destroy it - so that the lich's demise, when it comes, will be final."
The blonde arcane warrior leads the way up, following the new stair - and intending to search north, once she reaches the right height.
You are able to disarm the trap, that allows the drawer to be open. You find inside the drawer a book, and a canister to which the chain was connected to.
Using his Thieves' Tools, Vrox's nimble fingers are able to detach the chain from the canister so that he can open the drawer without triggering the trap. As he slides the drawer open and nothing bad seems to happen, Vrox finally lets out a deep sigh. He didn't even realize that he had been holding his breath! Vrox figures that the canister must contain something deadly: poisonous gas, a djinni bound to protect the book, etc. Careful to avoid touching or disturbing the canister, he slowly removes the book from the drawer.
Vrox is overflowing with curiosity about the book and quickly convinces himself that the chain and cannister were the trap protecting the book, so the book must be the prize. The party has made it far enough into the tower that the book itself must not be dangerous -- at least no more dangerous than a lich's grimoire! Vrox lets the others know: "I found a book in the desk." He is cautious enough to wait until Clarac is within 30-ft of him before he touches the book. He's aware that Clarac's mere presence extends some measure of her deity's favor and protection to her allies.
If there is no clasp or lock on the book, Vrox opens it slowly. He's not sure how old the book is, and he's careful not to treat it too roughly or to damage the pages. He scans the first few pages to see whether it's a magical text (requiring a Wizard to interpret it) or whether it's a mundane book that's written in a language he knows. As an ambassador of the Summer Court and a Ranger of the Feywild, Vrox knows how to speak and read several languages: Common, Abyssal, Elvish, Giant, Infernal, Primordial, Sylvan, and Undercommon.
[[OOC: I'm hoping that this isn't one of those, "if a non-evil creature reads from the book, they suffer some madness if they don't pass a saving throw."]]
