"Sai 'lanthresh, Sai 'lanthresh..." Khessa smiles and shakes her head in denial, as if disconsolate by the limitations of the interlocutor, insisting on using the other's real name, just to underline that she knows it (and therefore can use it to gain power over her - actually Khessa has no idea how... but why not bluff?) "There are so many things you don't understand... But I'll explain at least the two most important ones".
"The first: I am Khessa Cabbagefield and I am as free as the blowing wind" the blonde arcane warrior holds the Death Lance and begins to slowly approach. "What I become or obtain, I choose with my free will and I obtain with my choices and efforts. I do not need anyone else to grant it to me".
"The second: if you think I was bold just because I gave you a fair warning..." the tall adventuress tries to move to a useful distance to strike "...you haven't really seen anything yet. Who knows what you'll think, now that, given that you didn't take my warnings into account... I'm starting to treat you the way you deserve!" and she starts trying to stab the androgyne with the Death Lance!
'Goddess or not,' Khessa thinks, starting the fight 'she is not in her dimension now... but in ours. Her power must have limits here - in fact, Flute managed to counter her. I don't think I can kill her, but if I make her suffer enough...maybe I'll force her to go back to where she came from. A pleasure goddess should not like wounds very much - especially if not used to suffer them'.
[[ OOC: can Khessa go on and attack? Or shall we roll for initiative? Or something else happens? ]]
Akkron regards the so-called goddess for a moment, not entirely sure what to make of her. But he eventually speaks:
"Lady Sai'lanthresh... do you know how many dark gods have given me similar offers of power beyond my wildest dreams? Orcus... Vecna... Asmodeus... even the demon queen Lolth has tried to convince me to bow before her. But I have noticed one thing time and again: their followers always crave greater power that they never receive. I have personally slain more than one lich who was gifted undeath by Orcus. I have cut down thousands of Lolth's followers. And we have just finished slaying more than a dozen of your own followers with barely a scratch upon us. Pacts like the one you offer have proven themselves time and again to be empty promises that leave those who accept them as nothing but puppets to their patrons."

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Akkron sighs... he was kind of hoping that this mad goddess would just leave after they all rejected her offer. But it looks like they're fighting her.
He'll just try to 'test the water' a bit with his first attack. He'll cast chill touch, mostly to see if necrotic damage will do anything to her or if he'll need to come up with something else.
Attack: 25; Damage: 17 (necrotic... also, if this hit she can't regenerate hit points until the start of Akkron's next turn)

All of your attacks appear to do no damage. The figure laughs and fades into a purple mist that returns to the statue.
"Foolish mortals, if its a fight you wish..." is all you hear as an echoing, then you hear the sound of a gong being beaten, like an alarm somewhere in the complex.
"It seems that we are unable to harm her, here and now..." Khessa sighs "we will have to settle for stopping her plans to destroy the Multiverse. Speaking of this, while waiting for her goons called by the gong to arrive, as a warm-up, do you want to destroy this statue with your axe, Tyekanik? I could do it with a spell, just like before, but I would prefer to save the magical resources for the guests who must be coming..."
In the meantime, the blonde arcane warrior looks around trying to locate a point where she (and possibly Tyekanik, or Sparhawk, or whoever she wants to stand by her side) can settle down to await the arrival of the minions... A narrow spot , in which the two of them can block the wave of attackers, allowing the others to strike safely from a distance.
[OOC: forgetting how many exits are in this room?]
"Depending on how much time we have, we should take the statue down and place the rubble in front of one of the doors. That way for the time being we only have to worry about one entrance. We can also use some of the rubble to place in around the door so hopefully only one enemy can enter at a time. I do so love a killing corridor." Mal says as she runs from entrance to entrance to see if she can determine which entrance the enemy is coming from.
"We just entered from a corridor..." Khessa point out [[ OOC: this is the link to the DM's post describing it ]]"It can be easier to transform that into a killing corridor. Just a few rubble should suffice to reduce the width from 10' to 5', at least in a given section".
The blonde arcane warrior in the meantime checks to see if Tyekanik is destroying the statue and at what speed... If the 'Angry Giant' only needs a short time to reduce her to a pile of rubble, she waits. If it seems to take a long time, she proceeds as in Azash's case earlier, creating a solid platinum cube on top of the statue which destroys it by collapsing on top of it.
Tyekanik grins and happily begins warming up for the fight to come on the statue in front of him, knowing that his companions will alert him to when the enemy approaches.
[OOC: got it. :) I was being lazy and not looking back through posts.]
Mal will move to once of the doors and study them to see if them can easily be ripped in half, horizontally. That way she can shut the bottom half of the door but leave the top part open, seeking help from Akkron with magic if the doors seems too sturdy. Then she will help start moving rubble to block the door on both sides, giving the enemy some difficult terrain to approach the doors and have to climb over and enter our room, while Khessa and Tye can stand on either side of the entrance and hack away.
While Akkroon and myself can stand behind pillars and pick off anyone else in the corridor that might cause us problems. While inspecting the doors Mal will lay out her ideas to the group, "Sound like a plan, anyone else have any other ideas?"
Probably would be best to ask someone else for help chopping up the doors... Akkron, unfortunately, does not have a lot of utility spells prepared. Though he could use levitate to make objects weightless and thus easy to move into place.
Also... is there enough room in the chamber for a huge-sized creature? Such as, for example... an illusory dragon that we can just sit in front of the door to roast everything that comes down the hallway?

Since Tyakenik is taking care of the statue, Khessa will help Mal with her superhuman strength, if needed.
"Sounds like a good plan to me" the blonde arcane warrior approves. "This way, they will not be able to exploit their numerical superiority".

After some mighty blows from Tyakenik, the statue crumbles to the ground. Looking at the door, you find the hinges, and can pull them off, and lay them sideways, next to each other for double thickness.
"Good job, friends!" Khessa smiles, taking position "Let's preapare to welcome our guests".
She keeps Alfred behind her, while she wields the Death Lance. As soon as the enemies are in sight, she casts Blur, imposing Disadvantage to their attacks against her.

From the double doors-that are ten feet wide, the hall goes back 20 feet, but at 10 feet, turns to the right as the hall remains 10 feet wide, so the total distance to the far side of the hall is 20 feet, the closest to the door is 10. It goes 30 feet south where you entered from

Khessa's Death Lance thrusts:
1st Attack: 39 Damage: 22 (piercing) + 20 (necrotic) = Unable to parse dice roll.
2nd Attack: 28 Damage: 22 (piercing) + 24 (necrotic) = 46
3rd Attack: 30 Damage: 20 (piercing) + 19 (necrotic) = 39
Seeing Khessa go in to attack the creature, Mal starts firing.
1st H-Xbow Sharpshooter Attack: To hit 27 (32-5) Piercing Damage: 15 Necrotic: 4 Sharpshooter: 10 = 29
2nd H-Xbow Sharpshooter Attack: To hit 20 (25-5) Piercing Damage: 15 Necrotic: 5 Sharpshooter: 10 = 29
Sneak Attack Damage: 19
