Merrick scampers up the stairs, bow drawn, when the lights suddenly go out. "I think my bow was pointed in roughly the right direction,"he mutters to no one in particular. "Oh well, here we go! Duck if you can hear this! Oh hey, ducks. Speaking of ducks, I haven't forgotten about you Mr. Ducksworth. Go ahead and attack that guy in the hood please!"
He lets loose an arrow at where the green hood was, and then scurries back into a corner.
OOC: I assume no stealth roll is needed to hide here since we have total darkness.
Attack: 11 Damage: 7 Movement: Go to the back of the room
The silver winged duck does its best to attack the green hooded feature, flapping its wings and nipping at the figure's head.
Merrickthinks fast and fires a shot where he last heard the green hooded figure standing, and presumably still is. A gasp tells him he was right.
Muireach smirks as he realizes his advantage. By the looks of it, his enemies definitely do not have truesight to see through this magical darkness. The Green Hood is looking all around, and the zombie seems equally confused. As confused as a zombie can be anyway. Stepping around the stairway opening with ease, Muireach slashes the zombie down the center and green flames erupt from his sword. The green flames latch onto and burn the hooded man, who cries out in pain. Despite the green fire, no one aside from Muireach is able to see it.
Merrick'ssilver duck attempts to attack the green hooded figure, but darkness causes its peck to be imprecise. (Use the raven statistics in your future posts!)
From the gasp and scream of the Green Hood, Dyoken seizes the opportunity to lay onto him. His whip manages to connect and he hears a satisfying whimper. Dyoken, sure that he knows exactly where the enemy is now, lunges forward to strike the Green Hood down. Instead, Dyoken, too late, senses the baddie side step and use Dyoken's momentum against him. Dyoken gets thrown to the ground! (You aren't prone, this is just drama cause you rolled that 1. You will be able to move around like normal!:P)
The sound of a sword being unsheathed alarms Dyoken as he can hear the blade cut through the air above him. In an instant, Dyoken rolls left, then right, as he hears the sound of metal hitting the stone floor beneath them.
Luthok only now manages to reach the top of the stairs and is doing his best not to breathe too heavily or else an enemy may spot him. He looks through the darkness, but isn't quite able to make out where anyone might be standing now. However, lucky him, or unlucky him, a groaning and putrid smelling thing bumps into him! The spores from Luthok's beard fly out and latch until this creature, which then attempts to strike at Luthok. Thankfully, Luthok leans away just in time to see, beneath the fog of darkness, a zombie fall through the opening of the room. It lands with a disgusting splat, but it's groans inform Luthok that the damn thing is definitely not dead.
In summation:
Green Hood is injured. Zombie is injured.
Merrick is healthy. Muireach is injured. Dyoken is injured. Luthok is injured.
(Party injures are from before. No one got injured this round!)

In the dark, Muireach strolls around to the back of the hooded figure, “Again, this is why we don’t steal children.”With that, Muireach brings Calibolg around at his neck! Attack: 10 Damage: 10 magic slashing damage.
"Put those ears to good use, Merrick!" Merrick listens carefully, and this time is able to hear the approximate location of the green hood and the zombie (Perception: 18).
"Mr Ducksworth, things don't sound too good over there. I think our friend Dyoken needs our help! I heard someone fall, and it sounded like his voice. Let's get in there and to the rescue!"
Merrick draws his rapier, and darts into the fray. He springs over Dyoken, and leaps to the green hood, who is flailing around. Mr Ducksworth flaps at the hooded man's face, silver feathers distracting and confusing him. Merrick stands in en garde position, facing the man. "Attacking a fallen man? Try picking on someone that's not your own size, you bully!" Merrick thrusts with the rapier with a clean lunge, then dances back and away.
Move: to green hood Attack: 22 Damage: 10 Move remainder: back to the wall (as far as he can go) Bonus: Hide 13

Dyoken drops his whip in favor of a dart, as he rises to his feat. He listens to the scraping of footsteps on stone, and but decides not to throw it. He grip the dart in his palm and strikes with a hammer fist, hitting 21 for 5 piercing, and follows up with his sword hitting 18 for 5(1 no strength bonus) piercing.
(Perception: 19)
(Sorry, whip's not Light? Who knew. Darts are light. Using a ranged weapon as a melee weapon makes it improvised. Fortunately Dyoken is proficient with improvised weapons. I assume its other properties still apply. Light and finesse. Funny that a hammer fist with no dart is not a light weapon =P )
Merrick can feel his attack make contact with someone and probably breathes a sigh of relief when he hears an unfamiliar voice shout angrily at him, "How many of you are there!?"
Muireach throws the Green Hood off balance as the elf lashes out and cuts the baddie's throat. In monochrome color, he witnesses blood flood from the wound.
Dyoken hears the Green Hood gargle what sounds like his last breath and instead hears Luthok being attacked by something. He crawls toward the central staircase and manages to stab someone with his shortsword, but not before accidentally dropping his dart to the level below. Thankfully, he at least did not stab Luthok, but whoever he attacked only groaned in response.
Luthok waves his staff around and potentially bashes in the zombie he just saw or beats his staff against a wall. (Once you roll perception, I'll subtract the HP if you hit it.
Dyoken feels the wind of a swing in his face, but not a pretty hair on his head was damaged!

Merrick gracefully slides down the circular banister of the edge, rapier in hand. He leaps onto the undead creature on the ground, driving his rapier into its chest before leaping away. Mr Ducksworth flies down afterwards, swooping at its head.
Luthok figures that his party members can handle the zombie and just stands there watching. "Get'im lads. Don't want to walk up and down those stairs again."
However, if the zombie doesn't die he will use his thorny whip to pull the zombie closer.
To sum it up, everyone descends unto the zombie with such power that it is obliterated. The signs that it had once been even a humanoid, let alone an elf, is now in the past.
Everyone gets 37 exp! Amazing.
Before you can party about going up a notch in experience, everyone hears someone whistling in the distance. When the whistling gets closer, it abruptly stops.
"Oi, Douglas, why ya turn the light off, bud?"
Merrick recognizes this as the other person who had left.
Muireach can see this man through the darkness. It is another Green Hood holding a cup in one hand. He has his other hand on his hip. There is a shortsword at his hip.
