Reggie looks at the others and then back to Ireena. "Can you blame them? From what your brother said, you two have been watched special by Strahd. Especially you. Personally, I'm none too excited to try to escort you, but I'm willing to listen."
Ireena rips the collar off her neck and you see two sets of vampire bite marks on her. "You think I asked for this? You think I want him to come to me at night and suck my lifeblood from my body? I don’t remember my early past. I don’t know how I came to Barovia or where I came from. My encounters with Strahd are fuzzy memories, thanks to his vampiric charm, but, "She shudders. "I can clearly see the blazing hunger in his eyes each time he came to me. Madam Eva told me that if I became one with Strahd the lands of Barovia would be doomed for all eternity."
"I sincerely apologize for what has happened to you and your family. I think I speak for all of us when I say, we will do whatever it takes to strike down this monster."

"I mean, we're not saying you asked for this. We were brought here seemingly as Strahd's playthings ourselves. All I'm saying is that I can understand how others could be scared of you because Strahd is so interested." He looks back at the body. "I'm sorry for your loss. How far is it to the cemetery?"
"I'm afraid it is on the other side of town, Carrying my father it may take a good twenty minutes to get there. I would be forever in your debt and would gladly travel with you out of this godforsaken place as my brother wishes." Ireena says as she wipes the tears from her eyes. "My brother has the details on where he wants to take me far away from Strahd and his reach. He will be out shortly, he is talking to a man that just arrived a few moments before you."
As you can see on the map the church and cemetery are all the way to the north and you are in the southern mansion.
"I don't think that will be too difficult? Rightr guys? We should be able to handle it... Do you know when Ismark will be back? And will he be bringing this new comer?"

"I don't think that will be too difficult? Rightr guys? We should be able to handle it... Do you know when Ismark will be back? And will he be bringing this new comer?"
Upon hearing his name, the door to the parlor opens and Ismark walks out with a smile on his face. "Ah, my friends I am so glad you made it."
Standing behind Ismark you notice a young man of dark-hued skinned w/ patches of black scales throughout his body, golden eyes, and well-kept black hair. He isn't very muscular, and a bit plump around the middle. However, most of this is covered in some fashion in dark, traveling garbs that cover him from head to toe. Even his hands are covered in thick gloves. The only real color on his person is a vibrant blue scarf covering up the lower half of his face. With exception of his scimitar, he otherwise keeps any other weapons hidden on his person, though easy to access at a moment's notice.
Though his garb may invite attention, he otherwise carries himself in a fashion meant to avoid or dismiss it. And unless given reason to be invested, he is aloof and ever calm. If he appears like anything, in particular, it is that of a shady person, or just a very gloomy noble given what little can be seen of his handsome features.
He turns to the person behind him. "This is Sizan, he just came from Madam Eva's, These are the guys I asked to help me get my sister Ireena to the protection of Vallaki far away from the Devil Strahd."
"Another visitor of the fortune teller?" He nods at the newcomer.
"Sizan. I'm Andrei. You look like someone not from around here either?"
Andrei's physical appearance:
Andrei is average height, quite muscular, and pale-skinned. His curly hair is pitch-black, and he has no facial hair. He's in his early 30's. His face, though, is permanently disfigured by a stark white patch of skin stretching from the right side of his mouth to just under his right eye. Small, equally white scabs cover the patch.
Andrei's voice is deep and gruff, with a slight raspiness.
Reggie nods as well. "Reggie," he says curtly. He is unabashedly sizing up the newcomer.
Reggie's appearance:
Reggie is a fair-skinned human of average height and a linebacker's build wearing chainmail and dark clothing. He has somewhat short, brown hair and a full beard and mustache with a lot of gray mixed in. He generally looks unkempt, though not particularly dirty. He looks to be in this 40s with bags under his eyes and splotchy skin. His equipment is tended to appropriately, though not fussily. He wears two longswords in scabbards.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sizan steps forward upon being introduced, though only enough to stand beside Ismark. While the comment about a 'fortune tower' had been enough to elicit a raised brow of interest, the man otherwise doesn't acknowledge any introductions for favor of thoroughly examining folk with a clinical eye. None are safe it. Not even the hulking minotaur. He is, however, quick shift his focus to the next person in the creatures case.
Only by the time everyone has said there piece does he place a hand over his chest, and formally bow to the group. Then, in a husky and matter-of-fact tone he says, "Sizan Sidrosin, at your service. I am Researcher and Alchemist by trade, but Performer--" With a twist of the wrist and a bit of a flourish of the same hand, he tries to sleight of hand his flute from his sleeve into the hand. "at heart, if nothing else." He cants his head and smiles with his whole face, but even the least of the insightful could tell the disingenuous to it.
Sleight of Hand:5 (+1 if performance would be more appropriate)
"That last one was a jest." He deadpans. "I am starting to see why the Madam was so...inclined to request my aid. You lot look terrible." Sizan looks sharply to Andrei. "Especially you. Though you don't need me to remind you of that. Now, let's get this out of the way, as I am sure some of you have at least heard of my kind. If not had the misfortune to deal with them prior to your arrival in these trouble lands. It is true. I, am a Yuan-ti. However, as our goals are aligned, you need not concern yourself over the usual well-deserved belief in regards to my people... So, rejoice, or whatever."
Reggie steps forward. "I don't care if you're yuan-ti, orc or goblin, as long as you pull your weight," he growls. "What I don't like is your attitude. We spent months tracking down a necromancer, finally found and defeated him, and were looking forward to a little break when we woke up in this place. Right off the bat, we're forced to fight for our lives against Strahd's giant wolves, a possessed house tried to kill us, and 'the Madam'," he says with sarcasm, "sends us on some fool quest just to get back home. You may think we look 'terrible', but we don't need some self-righteous local babysitter; we can look after ourselves. I suggest you keep your mouth shut, or I will shut it for you."
Andrei's eyes narrow at "Yuan-ti," and his right hand grabs reflexively at the handle of his ice ax before resting at his side once more.
"Well."He glances at Reggie with raised eyebrows, then back at the "snake man."
"A performer and a critic! Won't those skills be useful against a vampire lord!" he exclaims, voice heavy with sarcasm, then looks towards Tilo. Tilo shuffles his feet, avoiding eye contact with Andrei, and Andrei mutters something unsavory under his breath.
There it is again. The same dispassionate look in his eyes, seemingly rekindled by the outburst. He does not let it waver from Reggie even as Andrei gets in on the action. Rather, after all is said and done, he raises his hands in the air in surrender, letting the flute slip back down his sleeve. Then, in one smooth motion he pantomimes sealing his lips and throwing away the key before stepping back and casual look to Ismark to step in.
All in all, not once did he appear perturbed by the demand.

Ismark looks at the group. "Where is my friend Artus? Sizan, you must meet him. He is such a fascinating creature. Some people would call him a beast, especially in these lands but from where he comes from he is not. Ah, there he is."
Ismark points towards Artus who is an imposing figure. Artus is well over 7 feet in height and he has a greataxe strapped to his back but the thing that catches your eyes the most is his large horns, Artus is a Minotaur.
Sizan takes a step back not out of fear, but need to keep from hurting his neck as much looking up at the creature. It takes a few moments, but then something sinks in, causing him to look at the rest of the group with wide, surprised eyes. He starts to open his mouth as if to say something. But in glancing back in Reggies direction, Sizan closes it without a word, motion for Ismark to carry on, and then go back to intently staring at Artus.

"Well for starters Ireena won't go anywhere unless we go bury our father at the church. I tend to agree with her but I cannot carry that coffin alone but I do wish to get her to safety. If what Eva says is true Strahd cannot have Ireena, We need to get her far away."
Ismark walks into the parlor for everyone to sit and be comfortable.
"My plan was simple really, I need help walking to Vallaki, Strahd will send his wolves, and bats, and spies after me if I try and get her to safety. I can fight but not against the forces of Strahd singlehandedly."
"I would help you fight, you know that. Father taught me to defend myself." Ireena says with a huff.
Ismark rolls his eyes. "Yes, Of course, you will help me. But that won't be enough. I need able-bodied men or women that can help fight off the dangers on the road. That's where you would come in. I figure if you could get her there safely all of Barovia would be better off."
Artus is in awe of the trick! "Greetings Sizan, I'm Artus. Dont mind this bunch, they have been a bit crabby since getting here."
He stands almost 7 feet tall, covered in molasses colored fur and limestone grey horns jut out of his head. Adorning his new cape (what color is it by the way? I think you just said it was finely made.)
"Ismark! My friend, what a great guest you bring with you today!" He strides over to Ismark with open arms and proceeds to hug the man, lifting him off the ground. After putting him back down he says, "As I was telling Ireena, we will gladly help bury your father. Right guys?" He looks around at his friends to make sure they are in agreement.

"Well, I'm glad you're now ready to protect your sister since Eva told you to," Reggie says, giving Ismark a look bordering on disgust.
"How dare you. You don't live in this wretched place and have no idea what we have to deal with on a daily basis. Everyone in Barovia are Strahd's playthings. His food. We are all a quick snack to him and he comes and goes as he pleases. I have tried to protect my sister to the best of my ability but t is hard trying to defend against a vampire lord that has access to your house at any time. That has powers to make you believe you are his best friend.
