Sizan grimaces at the response, but then quickly shrugged it off, muttering "humans" in disdain.
Seeing other people for the first time since arriving in Borovia (not counting a certain few exceptions), Sizan cannot help but let his gaze wander to the throng as the group traveled down the streets. It would be a lie to say the man possessed some shred of hope in the people being more tired than angry or fearful. But alas! At least if he could pick out a face or two among the crowd to add to his repertoire, then at least the rest would be easy enough to endure.
If he can pick out potential servants or outright suspicious in the crowd, all the better.
Sizan sticks by the cart upon arrival, and instead took at least the first few moments to wander and study the grounds itself. Though he doesn't go any further than 20ft from the cart if it can be helped.

Sizan looks around the area and notices many different tracks on the ground all trampled over each other making it hard to tell what made them.
Ismark opens the door and beckons everyone to follow.
The doors open to reveal a ten-foot-wide, twenty-foot-long hall leading to a brightly lit chapel. The hall is unlit and reeks of mildew. Four doors, two on each side of the hall, lead to adjacent chambers.
You can see that the chapel is strewn with debris, and you hear a soft voice from within reciting a prayer. Suddenly, the prayer is blotted out by an inhuman scream that rises up from beneath the wooden floor.
Still as non-plussed as ever on the surface, Sizan readies his scimitars -- one normal, the other silvered -- and moves to rejoin the group as a rearguard, if only to avoid being left alone. A calm yet questioning look is given to Ismark and Ireena as if to ask 'A normal occurrence'?

The scream only lasts a few seconds and when it is finished you can still hear praying coming from up ahead.
Ismark looks at the group and shrugs before continuing towards the chapel.
The chapel is a shambles, with overturned and broken pews littering the dusty floor. Dozens of candles mounted in candlesticks and candelabras light every dusty corner in a fervent attempt to rid the chapel of shadows. At the far end of the church sits a claw-scarred altar, behind which kneels a priest in soiled vestments. Next to him hangs a long, thick rope that stretches up into the bell tower.
From beneath the chapel floor, you hear a young man’s voice cry out, “Father! I’m starving!”
Confused by Ismark's and the prayer's reactions (none), Reggie leans into the nearest party member (one of the original five) and asks quietly, "Are you hearing that voice from below?"
Sizan simply nods and sheathes his blades before following along Ismark. As a matter of precaution however, he'll keep a hand near the hilt of the weapons, and eyes ever open for any more strangeness. Aside from a slight narrowing of the eyes at the floor in passing, the 'yuan-ti' pays no further mind apparent mind to the cry from below.
Though, it /is/ noted.
Seeing the holy man, Sizan again starts to open his mouth, only to glance briefly back at Reggie. He wordlessly shuts it again, and instead turned his focus towards examining both the interior and the holy man in search of signs pointing to what faith or sect the man belonged to.
Artus follows close behind, carrying in the coffin inside as not to leave it out in the open unprotected. Once inside the dorrs of the chapel, he gently rests it on one of the more intact pews. "What is going on in here?" He says to Reggie in response to hearing the prayer and the scream.

The Morninglord
Reggie draws his swords and moves to the front of the group in a defensive posture. "Hello?! Father?!"
Father Donavich finishes his prayer and stands up, turning towards the party. he looks as if he hasn't slept in weeks, his eyes are bloodshot and he has dark circles under his eyes. When he speaks his voice is hoarse and weak.
"Yes, my children? How may I help you?"he nods to Ismark and Ireena, "Hello Ismark, Ireena."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sizan goes from simply fully open as the pieces click to full on wide at Reggie's defensive posture. Now both thoroughly intrigued and confused, he cups his cups his chin in one hand, and cants his head at Father Donavich, fully intent on carefully observing and dissecting the man's ongoing interaction with the others. Though in brief answer to Donavich's question, he'll offhandedly gesture back to wherever Artus leaves the coffin before resuming studying the man.
(For when/if it becomes Appropriate. He's largely seeking to pick up any lies, omissions, and signs of hidden concerns given Reggie's reaction to the man as things are being discussed. Because there's no way this kindly, tired, old man is gonna cause trouble. :P)
"We come to have my father buried in the cemetery. He passed three days ago. His heart gave out." Ismark Says.
'I am sad to hear that Ismark and Ireena. My condolences. I can do a ceremony for him tomorrow at Dawn. If you would as be so kind as to dig a grave for him, we can lay him to rest tomorrow."Donavich says.
"Father. I'm Starving. Bring me food."
You hear coming from under the floorboards somewhere close by.
Donavich sighs but otherwise ignores the pleas for food.
"So do we have an arrangement? I cannot dig the grave. My help has left me after the attacks and my old body cannot handle the physical strain it would take to dig the grave."
Tilo's nostrils flare and e begins to sniff the air as he tilts his head to the side as if he is listening to something.
Tilo leans over to Andrei and says to him quietly but the others in the group can overhear him "I hear something underneath us walking around. It smells like death and it is mumbling over and over it's starving."
As soon as all agree and prepare to move out, only if Father Donavich doesn't join the group to find the plot, and ONLY once Reggie is out of earshot will Sizan linger behind for at least a half a minute to ask the following things. Otherwise, Sizan will remain quiet, watchful, and mindful to stick near Ireena, no matter how discomforted she may appear to be with the arrangement at this point.
"I will be frank with you, Father Donavich, as best I can. For as a faithful of Gond, I can understand a certain dislike for wordplay and dishonesty... How are you really?"
"Who is your guest?"
"And... why haven't seen to their destruction?"

As everyone walks outside around back tot he cemetery Sizan stays behind a moment to talk with Father Donavich.
A fence of wrought iron with a rusty gate encloses a rectangular plot of land behind the dilapidated church. Tightly packed gravestones shrouded by fog bear the names of souls long passed. All seems quiet.
Ismark walks over to a shed and grabs three shovels and heads to an area of the cemetery and puts two of the shovels on the ground.
"This is where our plot is. I will make this up to you, I promise you. When this is done and we get back to my house. We will have to come back at Dawn tomorrow for the ceremony to be performed."
Ismark begins to dig the grave while Ireena sits close by watching.
Lando grabs one of the shovels and begins digging with Ismark. After he moves a few spades worth and finds his rhythm, he begins whistling a somewhat melancholy tune.
"So Ismark, what was with all the screaming and yelling back in the church? There is obviously someone trapped down in the basement, yet Father Donavich ignored it."

Andrei grunts, and mutters a terse reply.
"I hear it. But Father whoever seems to not care."
He turns to Father Donavich with a sigh.
"We can dig a grave if you'll do the ceremony. Can't we?" he asks Reggie and Artus.
And that's all I have to say about that.
