Pan scrambles about the walls inside, taking his time to find hikes from which poison sprays and other traps may spring. When he finds them he uses his claws to scrape off wax from the candle and shive it into the hole, giving it a quick rub in the outside to soften the wax and secure it. As he clambers further and further in making sure not to touch the floor he gets a little turned around and cannot tell if he has missed a few or not.
There are a couple more traps in this area, Pan can tell as he finds the holes that are not that hidden upon the ceiling. Using the wax, he plugs them up and the area is no longer trapped. Once Nekane has settled down and is ready to continue on, the group tiptoes through the zigzagged walls until they see a broken and twisted odd weapon lying on the floor.
As they approach it, they see that the wall on the west has been broken through by a metallic, human-sized construct that now lays on the floor.
Lozak approaches the construct and begins to poke at it with his boot.
"Nice work, Pan." He says, his eyes on the fallen construct. "Why, I do believe this is the Tin Man. He once sang a song. Do you recall it? If I had a heart I could love you; if I had a voice I would sing; after the night when I wake up; I will see what tomorrow brings..."
"A singin' tin man? I bet they sound like shite! Ive heard o' these though, got like a power thingy in their core, should we pull it out an' have a play? Might be able to make some explosions haha" pan extends a clawed hand and taps the tin man on the chest with excitement.
"One in the same, Pan. One in the same. When you get the core out, I recommend licking the two prongs that power the little fellow. I hear it's a real blast."
"I believe this is likely another trap." Ash exclaims, though he doesn't sound worried in the slightest. "Perhaps Pan's plan of blowing it up is not a bad one."
Nekane, still slightly fazed from his trip to la la land, eyes the tin man warily. "Perhaps not," he says to the idea of blowing it up... anything to keep it from potentially shooting more of that gas in his direction. He takes a step backwards when Pan taps it, then frowns at himself before forcing himself to take a step forward. He is NOT frightened of this tin man, and he is NOT frightened of Happy Jack. It was that blasted pink smoke, that is the only rational answer.
Pan busts open the construct hoping for something big and shiny looking, but only finds a jumble of gears and cogs that seem to have jammed up at some point and has resulted in the construct now being a very large paperweight. The odd looking weapon appears to be a broken chainsaw.
A racket is coming from around the corner, it's rhythmic and clunky all at the same time.
Pan gives a sigh at finding nothing but at least he didn't spring a trap, at the strange noise he pulls his hood up and camouflages himself against the wall which he climbs up once more.
Nekane breaths a sigh of relief when nothing happens, only to give a start when the racket begins around the corner. Shaking his head, he puts on a brave face and says, "Well... we aren't getting any younger yes? So let's go see what's going on!" Then he approaches the source of the noise...
Once Pan has finished dismantling the construct, Ash shrugs and continues onward. Still smiling, he wordlessly passes Nekane. Whatever traps are down this way, he doesn't want the young tiefling to face them first.
Lozak watches as everyone begins to proceed forward, then looks at Violet and shrugs. He shifts, adjusting his very luxie jacket over the hump on his right shoulder, then follows the rest of the party forward.
"You got a bad feeling about this?" He whispers to Violet. "I've got a bad feeling about this. But then again...I've got a bad feeling about everything and I'm allergic to pain. Not sure how someone as charismatic and handsome as me gets roped into messes like this. Tsk. Such is the pain of enormous talent and beauty, I am afraid. Don't worry baby, you're almost as beautiful as I am, with all those pretty little peepers of yours. I'll write a song about them someday."
Pan enters whatever room the noise is coming from as quietly as he can (26 stealth) on the ceiling and prepared to cast down a veritable wave of caltrops upon any unsuspecting enemy.
As soon as Ashtar do-si-do's his way around Nekane, the far wall bursts open and an identical mechanical construct that is obviously NOT broken, charges through the wall brandishing a chainsaw. In a sweeping arch, the construct charges forth, starting from low to high, he smashes into Ashtar so that his chainsaw catches Ashtar, Nekane and ending with Pan on the ceiling.
Each of you three make a DEX save of 18 or take 15 slashing damage, half if saved. The thing is ready for another swing...
Nekane lets out a doglike yelp as he leaps out of the way, quick as a rabbit. Still, the chainsaw manages to get a grip on him in spite of his speed--which is still inspired by the fear he'd felt earlier and has yet to fully shake off.

Pan tales the advice of his friends and checks the man over for traps. (7 investigation) "looks fine t' me!"
Finding nothing he tears the torso open and takes a look at what is inside, taking out any big shiny looking possible power core if he sees it.

Violet returns Lozak's look uncertainly... then she nods and follows close behind him.
Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?

Pan descends from the ceiling with a thud and a rip roaring "AHHH SHITE!"
Lozak, frightened by the chainsaw and all that, grabs Violet and screams bloody murder.
