You ask one last question to the both of them. The nervous ruffian is the first to answer, the other seems more reluctant. Glasstaff's quarters are to the north of the crevasse. Go down the western stairs, then through the northern door. You tell Nervous Ruffian to get lost and never come back.
You knock out loud ruffian again, as a mercy (some of you are good aligned characters). You undress the man and drag him behind you as you make your way back to the crevasse. The Nothic is there, behind a pillar.
Do we just skip this part or do you want to speak to the Nothic?
You search the cellar and the room they were bunked in. It is filled with more crates and barrels, and a couple bunk beds. You also find torches and flasks of oil for the oil lamps.
Um, why did you remove the undressing the guy? That's part of the plan regardless! (We know the Nothic is "protecting" the Redbrands. I just meant as a joke that my character (being chaotic neutral) doesn't care about the guy being knocked out or not. The ends justify the means. We are still making sure he is naked!
Ohhhhhhh. I thought we had explored the room. There wasn't anything of note. End of story...
There are two courses of action here. Explore the north door (under the stairs) or proceed to the crevasse to feed the Nothic. Which course of action do you take?
occ. those rolls sucked even with advantage..
so did that actually yield answers as quoted? do we get to reroll on the second ruffian to see if we can improve on the information?
You can reroll for the second one.

The answers are a bit different, but essentially giving the same information.
Okay. I say strip the second guy and feed the Nothic. Tell the nervous one to **** off and never come back. To rethink his life choices!
(Also, can we get the info of where in the cave is the leader's quarters?)
AND, we should check the room they were held up in. In case there is shit.

OOC: Maybe Nothic can give us more information now that we've fed him
i side with Leek. let's look in these two halls before we proceed. (door under stairs and hall of ruffians)
i'm of mind that i don't want that thing near me again, feed it and be done.

Lets grab a couple of torches so we can light our way. Lets not light them right now, it might freak out the Nothic.
Oil lamps keep all the cellar and chambers lit. The only places that have been dark is because Leek put out the lamps.
OOC: But we can take torches no?
Yes. Add a couple to your inventory.
Some of us are NOT good alignement and have zero qualms about feeding this guy to the Nothic awake or knocked out. Just saying!
Feed Nothic, get him on our side, then head in the direction the Ruffian told us for the quarters. Sound like a plan?
I edited post #766.

Because you decided to explore instead of going to the crevasse. You haven't done that part yet.

Lets bring the ruffian to the nothic.
