With everyone asleep, soon it turns to morning. The night seems to have gone peacefully, even Meimanages to get a few hours of rest before waking. Pierois already heading out when Guardokawakens, having one of the earlier classes. (As does Meiand Malvyn- just a different class.) The day goes on much as most days do, with all of your usual classes. At the end of the day n Magical Physiologies, Professor Lang informs you all that over the next week you will wrap up your study of Slaadi and the first Exam will follow! She seems very excited.
With it being a Friday, you all have the weekend ahead to do with as you please. (Or to meet up with pre-arranged appointments. Or possibly study, though you can do that in earnest next weekend!)
Guardok waves Piero off, before following his morning routine of exercise, ablutions and breakfast. If anyone else breakfasts at the same time, he will happily discuss the events of the previous night, albeit in hushed tones.
He likely has Gymnastics and Drama practice at times over the weekend, but determines to get the group together to talk more about the goings on on campus as soon as possible. However, he knows they are all busy, so finding that time might be difficult. Especially with exams looming.
He writes a note and leaves it on the lounge door before he heads off to his classes. It says, Dinner / drinks at Bow's End at 6.30?
Malvyn would get up as per usual, although still quite excited over yesterday's events, getting ready for another day of studies, staying particularly attentive during the class with Professor Lang, thinking about the incident with the giant frogs in bright colours and the tracks from the Bullywug, or was it some other kind of bipedal amphibian? Quite excited over the investigation, the purple-skinned Tiefling is extra vigilant in trying to keep the dreamer at his side awake during classes, hoping she would still take part in the investigation in spite of the unfortunate events last night.
After classes he would explain to the others that meeting up at the tavern for dinner sounds like an excellent idea to him but first he would want to seek out Mina Lee about getting access to any Strixhaven Star archives, inviting anyone interested to come along. He's hoping to have a sensible and balanced mix of working at the Biblioplex, investigating for the Star and studying to their exam during the weekend, although he senses reading up on Slaadi might prove helpful to the investigation too. If given the opportunity he would politely ask Piero about his reading and if he has come up with anything yet.
Mae looks a bit more tired than usual perhaps that day, but goes about her day as usual for the most part. When she arrives at the physiologies class, she finds a seat next to a green-haired girl with large round glasses, putting a hand on her shoulder briefly as she greets her. The slaadi sounded very curious, as did most creatures, and while schooling really wasn't the most important thing ever to Mae, she dutifully made notes to study from later, even drawing crude pictures of them on the side.
Later on she will seek out Aurora for their planned meeting on Saturday, humming a tune to herself alongside tapping on her hand drum at times.
"Did you get home alright last night?"Malvyn asks Knap at first decent opportunity during the day. "We're not out in the wilds you know, next time we will have to do without a camp fire I think." He adds with a small smile.
"So, did you have any new dreams last night." Malvyn asks Mei as they walk to their second class of the day. "And did you have time to think about what you saw in your dream by the pond." He adds with curiosity in his fiery red eyes.
"Hey, we missed you last night..." Malvyn says to Mae as he gets an opportunity between classes. "...not that you missed much I guess." He adds with a small chuckle. "Mei performed a dreaming ritual and I think she saw something pertaining to the incident yesterday, but then Knap lit a camp fire and a Campus Guide came along and interrupted our evening."
Mae stopped as Mal talked to her, shouldering her bag a bit more. "Oh? I suppose that's something. I'm sure if there is something to know she'll tell us, right? I'm sorry, but I didn't remember where you said you would be, so I ended up wandering around for a while. Ended up being all right though in the end I think. I'm glad you all are okay though it seems, managing just fine without me. If you meet again though, I'll try to remember better, I was just so tired and lost last night." She gave him a half smile before moving on to find her seat.
As she's sometimes wont to do, and with her mind and body recovering after the previous night's events, Mei sleeps through most of her Friday classes. But she does make it to Magical Physiologies, looking much more alert than usual though also not fully present. Pen gripped in hand the entire class, it's nib never once touches paper.
That afternoon, Mei would check in on Cadoras to make sure he's alright after the frog-fiasco before joining Malvyn to talk with Mina Lee. At the tavern that evening, Mei fills everyone in on the second Dream, as well as what she discussed with Piero about making preparations.
Over the weekend, the diviner would split her time between her extracurriculars and the Biblioplex as she researches by what means a person could ward against Divination magic. She'd also look for any (auto)biographies on the current Oracle, Jadzi, and (if found) spend the rest of the day in the Book Garden alongside the awakened shrubs reading it.
The green-haired girl next to Maeseems to greet her happily. After class, she stops to chat with her leaning in close as she speaks.
"We should really get together! I've got practice, but after? Maybe dinner? Oh... but do you work? Sorry, maybe that was silly. We'll bump into each other again I'm sure."
Meispots Cadoras after class over. She manages to let Malvynknow she wants to come along to speak with Mina Lee, then catches up with the elf. "Hello, beautiful lady! Of course I'm fine!" Cadoras says as he takes a moment to look you over. "You weren't hurt, were you? Gosh, I really should have checked in on you last night to see how you were doing! Perhaps I could make it up to you sometime. I would be honored if you might join me for a meal? I don't think I have anything going on tonight." He gives the girl a smile, "I could tell you all about my upcoming play. You are planning on being there, right?"
Pieromanages to slip out after class before anyone can talk with him.

"We should really get together! I've got practice, but after? Maybe dinner? Oh... but do you work? Sorry, maybe that was silly. We'll bump into each other again I'm sure."
Mae begins to beam softly as she leans in to chat with the green-haired girl.
"I'll have to check my schedule, but my floor mates like to eat dinner together, so perhaps you can join us? Unless you meant...just us. Which is okay too! But you can find me working at the tavern most nights, helping out around the floor. Though one of these days I might get back on the stage too." She smiled and rubbed the girl's arm a moment and squeezed her hand before letting go. "No, it wasn't silly at all Larine. You're really cute. I hope we do bump into each other again. The sooner the better."
Mei nearly trips at Cadoras' greeting, cheeks immediately warming. A warmth that spreads out to her ears as he looks her over. "Me? Oh--" Mei pauses and tucks a bit of hair behind her ear before shaking her head. "N-no, I wasn't hurt," she fibs then tips her head against her shoulder with a smile, "so you've got nothing to make up to me, I promise!" She'd hate for him to feel like he owes her over such a thing. Even if it is nice to hear he wished he had.
"But, oh! If you don't have plans tonight, why don't you join us for dinner? We're going to the Bow's End. It'd be my honor," she says with a playful curtsy, perhaps not catching the intention behind his asking. She'd surely be falling over herself if she had. "Guardok will be there too, if you're both in the plaaa--" Mei's eyes widen. "Ah, I didn't know you were in the play! W-With... Quentillius too?" She can't help but glance around for a shock of red hair at that. They would both certainly cut... fine figures on stage together.
Cadoras gives Meia wink, then laughs heartily. "Oh no! Not a real play! A role-play, get it? For the Roleplaying Guild." He nudges her a moment, "Had you going though, didn't I? Don't think they'd let me into those fancy formal plays. I mean, unless they need an archer perhaps!" He shakes his head, clearly pleased with his ruse. "Now, it's good to know I've got nothing to make up for with you, so we can just have dinner. And... uh... sure, I could join you and your roommates for dinner."
The green-haired girl gives Maea slightly surprised look, then continues their whispers.
"Oh, well, I figured just us since, well, usually I never seem to catch up with much of anyone. So your roommates? I... I don't need to intrude on that. Like I said, I'm sure we can bump into each other again some time." Larine stops to push her glasses back up along her nose. "Maybe... is there a day you don't work?"
After Magical Physiologies, Guardok hangs back after class to talk to Professor Lang.
"I know you said you would get back to us next week about the transforming frogs, but I just wondered if you had found anything yet? I'm also a bit worried about the exam, I haven't done one before. Perhaps you could tell me what it will be like?", he asks, quite nervous about the exam. "What happens if we don't do so well?".
The fiery-red eyes of the purple-skinned Tiefling is filled with both worry and curiosity over the response from the radiant Aasimar. She had seemed more and more withdrawn lately and something seemed to bother her. Unfortunately he didn't think of himself as someone to be able to help her with that, he barely managed to handle himself in this very new and different environment of Strixhaven. Forgetting about where they would meet didn't quite ring true to his pointed ears, but she didn't need to explain and she probably had her reasons, maybe simply wanting to be alone. His eyes briefly follows the radiant Aasimar as she takes a seat next to a green-haired bespectacled girl that seemed happy to see her, a new acquaintance perhaps.
Before leaving to find Mina Lee, Malvyn seeks out Aurora. "Hi there..." He says a bit awkwardly. "...hope you slept well. Sorry again for last night, didn't turn out as I had hoped. We are thinking of having dinner at the tavern tonight, it would be nice if you could join us." He says, briefly taking the raven-haired performer's hand.
"Did you get home alright last night?"Malvyn asks Knap at first decent opportunity during the day. "We're not out in the wilds you know, next time we will have to do without a camp fire I think." He adds with a small smile.."
Knap’s brows furrow “Yeh, got home fine…you haven’t seen ‘wild’..but the fire ban is a little heavy handed…cya Malvyn.” …
After class, Knap returns to his room to water the plants then to the book garden to study for a while until meeting at the tavern. He reads and and tries to remember the information by arranging sticks and leaves and flowers and seeds in patterns on the ground. He’s distracted worried that his companions and himself took it a bit tough with the frogs. Worried they might need to work on their teamwork. Knap’s gonna look out for Greta at the tavern or over the weekend. Fourth floor need to get in shape for things to come and maybe Greta can help.
Mae looks almost disappointed for a moment but then smiles again.
"Oh! I suppose so. Oh I remember now....I'm sorry Larine. Though I think you'd like most of them if you did come meet them sometime, it's not an intrusion at all. We just kind of do it because we didn't have anyone else to meet up with, you know? But let's see...how about Monday night then for dinner? I will be at the tavern for dinner tonight I think, and working there tomorrow night, possibly performing there Sunday night...but if you want to bump into each other during the day some too I would really like that too, Larine."
"A role... play," Mei blinks, realization dawning on her face with a grin. "With the gift of foresight, I should have seen that coming!" she laughs. "Well, then yes, I would love to hear about it. And come!"
As he mentions having dinner again, there's something about the "we" that rings differently. And the hesitation(?) about joining them all for dinner. Her brows arch upwards as she brushes back her cheek-length sidelocks to study his face. "We could... another time? If you'd rather?" She was fairly certain Cadoras was as extroverted as they come, but perhaps he was worried about being the odd-one-out amongst a group of roommates.
"Wait..Knap...I didn't..." Malvyn says, feeling he has somehow offended his room mate. It was quite true he hadn't seen anything of the wild but he wasn't sure what significance that statement held. Having lived all his life in a city he hadn't even seen a camp fire before Knap made one, maybe it was a heavy handed rule, someone like Knap could surely take care of any fire they started, but then again there might be other students that didn't have his expertise. As he watches Knap leave the Tiefling makes a note of trying to smooth things over with his roomie when he could, maybe tonight at the tavern.

Piero mulls over your question. "I suppose I'm here for the same reason you are - to strengthen my abilities."
He then steps back towards the door of the study room. "I should sleep. A plan can be formulated tomorrow."
With that he turns and heads for his room.

She, too, eventually heads to bed, not even bothering to unmake it but simply collapsing on top.
