Aros waves his staff, lashing out at the plant creatures with a vine. With the foliage in the area obscuring things, his attack misses.

A bit of chaos ensues as everyone lunges at the second twig blight. Draco, Jurgen, and Aros all manage to miss their target. Kimberley is bleeding from the attack.

Kimberly, Quinn (still blessed), and Bryony may act next.

However, now both of the plant creatures next to Kimberley begin to awaken and move.

Kimberley span about and raked her fingers across the face of the one that had struck her, with a feral grin and snarl...

Bryony is alarmed by the sight of the other plant creatures waking up. To be honest she should have expected that though. Seeing Kimberly surrounded makes the halfling leap into action. She squeezes next to Syzygy in order to get a clean shot at the creature that scratched Kimberley. Then she lunges with her blades, hoping to strike true and deep.

In the growing chaos of the attacking plant-things, both Kimberley and Bryony fail to slow them down with their weapons.

Quinn is up next (and may have advantage on his attack rolls thanks to Kimberley's Blessing of the Blood-Drenched Moon.)

Quinn stows his shield to allow for a more powerful attack. He focuses his attack on the foe immediately to his south. Quinn brings down a massive swing of his battleaxe as if he were felling an old oak.

Action: Two handed melee attack. To hit 24( NAT 20 + 2) for 16 damage

Quinn obliterates the newly-woken plantoid, spraying Kimberley and Jurgen with sticks and debris.

The two remaining blights claw back:
Claws Attack vs. Kimberley: 17. Hit: 4 piercing damage.
Claws Attack vs. Jurgen: 17. Hit: 2 piercing damage.

Aros, Syzygy, and Jurgen may act next!

“Quite the blow, Quinn” syzygy says whilst looking somewhat nervously at Jurgen’s awesome contraption in front of him. 

Then With a flick of the wrist and a magical utterance syzygy brings slithers of moonfire on the two remaining blights.

Syzygy calls down a pillar of radiant flames upon the two remaining twig blights.
They dodge nervously. (DC14 Dex Saves: 11 and 20 )

One is seared by a blue radiance; the other manages to successfully dodge it.

Aros and Jurgen may act next!

(OOC - please re-roll the attack on Jurgen as Draco being next to him using its reaction, imposes disadvantage. )

(Draco tries to rush in and deflect the attack on Jurgen:

Jurgen and Draco each take out the two remaining twig blights. They may be tough and stick-y and have sharp claws, but in the end there's not much holding them together.

Combat is over! Everyone may act. The four attacking shruboids have been reduced to tinder.

Kimberley is super annoyed at being scratched up by the shrubs and proceeds to kick the hell out of the remains.

Now that we know what to look for, Jurgen and Draco will walk around again to see if there are any more of these twig creatures. 

Looking around, Jurgen and Draco cannot see any more of the twig blights in the immediate area – at least ruins U1 and U2 seem clear of them. (U3 and U4 are more intact, still having a roof and walls, so you cannot see within easily.)

“Starling said the dragon is in the tower to the East of us. If we avoid it, we could still find the Druid.” Aros makes his way to the middle cottage and peeks inside the door.

Perception: 21

Quinn looks about the town and he feels that thi place doesn’t look like it’s been ravaged by a dragon. 

“Of all we heard about Thundertree, no one ever mentioned a dragon. One would think a small town look this could be wiped off the map by a dragon, yet here we stand.

Perhaps it’s a small drag…”

Quinn stops mid thought and side eye glances at Jurgen. Sensing a potentially awkward situation, Quinn saunters off and lends a hand to Aros.
