"Bargain with a dragon?!" Syzygy appears amused by Byrony's suggestion. "I hate to say, but it might not be a bad idea. Although, I would urge us to be careful with how many agreements we make with less than savoury creatures." Ssarnak's large eye once again fills his mind...
"Thank you for your assistance Reidoth." He glances once more at the fox before approaching the east facing door. "I'm going to make a dash for that building across the road."
He takes a breath, determined but noticeably nervous, and makes that dash without waiting for confirmation.
Bryony's cheeks color a bit at Syzygy's words. "Can't hurt to try," she says. Suddenly an image of great green poison clouds spewing all over them appears in her mind, and she quickly adds, "Okay, maybe it can...but we should keep our options open."
Bryony gives Reidoth a quick curtsy. "Thank you for your help, Mistress Reidoth," she says. "I'll be sure to let Auntie Qelline know you're all right."
Jurgen explains what he knows about Green Dragons (which is especially helpful to Quinn, whose knowledge of dragons is strictly limited to puppet shows in his childhood.) The poison gas exhaled even by a smallish green dragon like this could kill the whole party in one breath. Even a (poisonous) bite and two claws would likely take down any one of them in a single pounce, if their meager armor failed them. Jurgen knows nothing of this particular dragon individual, however.
"You take care of Qelline," admonishes Reidoth of Bryony. "Don't get yourself killed."
"A lot of blights over there," Reidoth tries to warn Syzygy, but he's already gone. She turns to the rest of the party. "Burn 'em," she instructs. "The little ones burn easy."
Across the street, Syzygy finds a ruin that looks as if it might once have been a farmhouse. It is now half swallowed by a dense thicket, with trees growing through its foundations. The lane continues south a short distance past the ruin before ending in an overgrown field.
Syzygy attempts to focus his ears for any unnatural sounds, his eyes looking for any strange movements of plants or zombies or spiders in the ruins before him.
perception: 2 + 3= 5
His mind is elsewhere, distracted, he knows he shouldn’t have split away, possibly leading his … friends … into danger again. but He’s more worried that he led danger to them.
he approaches the entrance way carefully remembering that’s where the last chlorophyllic creatures were perched.
If he gets as far as inside, he wouldn’t move to far out of possible eyesight of the others but maybe enough inside to find a gap in the thicket, a way to cut through to the adjacent ruin (u6).
Syzygy sees nothing - all is quiet. He approaches what was probably the front door of the farmhouse, now long gone. (U5) The roof has long fallen to the floor; weeds grow atop it. He can see over part of the wall opposite, into the thickets behind U6, a ruined building that might’ve been a store or workshop. He judges that hopping over the ruined wall (barely 5' high now) and into the thicket beyond (between U5, U6, and U8) looks simple enough, provided there's nothing immediately dangerous on the other side. So far there is no sign of the plantoids they fought earlier.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Bryony assures Reidoth that she will do her best not to die. Then she follows Syzygy out of the cottage and toward another ruined house. It seems like he's got that mostly in hand so the halfling decides to venture a little ways further, mindful of the dragon in the tower that might be watching. She will sneak her way between the buildings toward U8 and peer inside.
Draco, Jurgan’s curious contraption moves up behind Syzygy. Syzygy welcomes its company just as he notices a halfling whisp disappear out of sight as Byrony sneaks away. “Come on Draco,” syzygy guides the magical mech dragon over the obstacle towards the doorway of the rubble once a store. He waits to keep on eye out for Byrony to give her cover if needed, whilst also waiting for the others to get into position.

Kimberley sees them first - twig blights. Lots of them, infesting the thicket. Bryony and Kimberley remain unnoticed, but Syzygy and Draco... not so much. Jurgen hears even more entering the ruin (U5) from the south.
Roll initiative! Twig blights: 2
The blights are focused on Syzygy and Draco. Bryony and Kimberley remain unseen (and thus have advantage.) Anyone who meets or beats the twig blight initiative may act immediately!
Jurgen will BA direct Draco to attack the blight nearest him (12 to hit and 6 damage)
Presuming the squares are 5’ I believe Jurgen would be able move and get to melee range with the blight south of him. He would cast Green Flame Blade and attack with his long sword. (12 to hit and 9 damage; if that hit then the one next to it takes 5 fire damage)
Quinn exits the building alongside Kimberly, but lingers outside Reidoth's abode as he ponders what to do next. He looks up and down the walkways and closes his eyes hoping to focus on his hearing and pick up the song of a bird or, perhaps if he's lucky enough, a cicada buzzing away in the distance. Instead, the serenity is violated by the sounds of battle.
Quinn runs towards the sounds of combat wielding his shield and battle axe. He crashes through the thicket and strikes at the nearest twig blight
Bonus Action: cast Zephyr Strike (movement speed = 60 ft and grants Advantage on attack)
Action: 13 (w/Adv) to hit for 9 dmg
Move: Use all 60 ft of movement speed. Once he attacks he will use the remaining movement create some space and keep his back to structure U6.
Syzygy sees Kimberley draw on the well of power from which he too drinks, though he knows nothing of its source. "Ask your lady, if this is how it's done," he smirks to Kimberley. And with an unusual display of playful bravado (and some insecure ego) he dramatically gestures, hisses a word and condenses two motes of moonfire that streak down upon the two closest twigs. He takes a few steps back and repeats the action, hailing moonfire upon the whatever adjacent twigs remain standing.
action: moonfire: dex 14 save or 6 radiant [accidentally rolled create bonfire in game log but both use d8] Movement: 15ft North -2 sorcery quickened spell bonus action: moonfire: dex 14 save or 2 radiant
Draco tries to tear apart one of the leading blights, but is held back by its sticky exterior. Jurgen climbs south over the remains of the fallen roof, but is likewise just unable to damage those advancing plant things.
Meanwhile, Kimberley tries to pull down blue radiant flames upon the other group. DC 13 Dex save or take 6 radiant damage: 10
Quinn runs like a wind toward the commotion. Entering the ruin, he first spots Jurgen to the south, engaged with at least two blights. Changing his initial plan, he charges south to help. (Due to the Difficult Terrain in and behind the first ruin, Quinn can't quite get into melee range of the eastern set of blights. This work?) Quinn's blade tears right through one of the blights, destroying it instantly.
Syzygy pulls down two sets of unearthly flames. DC 14 Dex save or take 6, 2 radiant damage: 2, 14
Kimberley's target immolates; it is destroyed. One of Syzygy's likewise is destroyed by the holy flames, but the other continues to advance. But there seems to be a lot more coming...
Bryony and Aros may act next! (Roll initiative; anything 2 or higher and you can act immediately.)
