Quinn holds his position, waiting to see if anyone can pick this lock. Considering that it looks like some of the group has returned from exploring the perimeter, he's getting the inkling that they might have to enter through the main entryway up on the terrace.

When everyone has returned and exchanged what they learned, Jurgen will suggest the group goes to the side door where Jurgen will open (or at least try to) the lock.
Jurgen approaches the side door. Jurgen: Do you have Thieves' Tools? (Or some to borrow, from Bryony, maybe?) Then, make a Dexterity check (with your proficiency bonus if you are proficient with Thieves' Tools.). Also, make a fresh Stealth check.
Kimberley fully (and successfully, or at least uneventfully) circumnavigated the castle.
He, along with Draco and the group move over to the door as stealthily as he can (Dirty 20).
As he looks at the lock he pulls out his thieves tools and begins to work on the lock. He smiles and says I go this. Unfortunately he breaks his thieves tools in the lock (NAT 1). He curses under his breath.
Jurgen, feeling a bit embarrassed, puts the thieves tools away. He takes his tinker's tools, which feel more natural in his hands, and studies the lock and 'carefully' attempts to open the lock. (18)
Quinn watches anxiously. Jurgen is quite the crafty fella and he has faith in his skills. But alas, he notices his shoulders slump a bit and it's apparent to him that this lock might be too tough for them to crack. He takes a peek back at Syzygy to make sure he's doing okay.

Bryony tried and failed, and Jurgen has tried and failed twice (although he almost had it the second time) but they can't quite seem to pick the lock on this Postern Gate. Fortunately, they've managed to not attract the attention of any of the castle's suspected inhabitants (like the mysterious hummer near the main entrance, or whoever left all those prints in the dirt near Syzygy.)
But then Kimberley hears a faint noise from the arrow slit above her head – it sounds like the clatter of crockery and some angry arguing in a language she doesn't understand.
“What did you all find?” Jurgen asks

Just to clarify:
Jurgen retraced his steps back to the west side. Did he stop near where Syzygy is hiding? Is Draco staying where is?
And did Kimberley retrace her steps counterclockwise past Syzygy and Quinn, all the way to Bryony at the postern gate?
Jurgen and Kimberley should make fresh Stealth checks.
Does this map look correct?
Jurgen isn't the stealthiest, but he manages to get back to the western woods where they arrived, without any new commotion. The castle remains quiet.
Where to / what next?
FYI, you would know that Jurgen is good with locks and such

Bryony spots Jurgen heading back toward the trees, and she motions for Quinn to wait. "Maybe Jurgen can get this stupid lock open," she whispers.
She sneaks back over to Jurgen and motions him to follow her. "We found a side door, but I couldn't get it open. Can you help?" she whispers.

Jurgen almost catches the lock mechanism, but then it gets away from him. His frustration begins to build. He almost had it.

" Could we boost Jurgen up there? How good a climber are you?", Kimberley queried.
"Um." Jurgen hesitates as he looks up. "Climbing is not one of my talents. But I may be able to fashion something to help me or someone."
