Chadwick uses Caellia's Gift to cast Lesser Restoration to attempt ending his [Tooltip Not Found].  This is unsuccessful.  He remains Blind.

Unsure of his orientation, he stumbles about a bit through the rough terrain (due to blindness) from the debris on the floor.

((Chadwick can pull out a potion, but will get a randomly determined one of the five in his pouch if he does so.))

• Effect: A failed save against the violet layer blinds the target. If they fail a subsequent Wisdom save, they are transported to another plane.
• Why Lesser Restoration Fails: Lesser Restoration only cures disease, blindness, deafness, paralysis, or poison.
• How to End It: The blindness can be ended by a successful save, but the banishment effect generally requires spells like Dispel Magic, Plane Shift, or waiting for the duration to end. 

Since he's still blind then he'll stay put and not take a potion and will wait to be banished.

Yartol responds to Chadwick's bravado, "Now is a good time to thrown down your weapons, items, become visible and lower the Wall of Force.  Unconditional Surrender.  There is no further need for bloodshed and if I learned well from Allindra, it is a coin toss for Chadwick to end up on another plane shortly.  WE have no desire to fight.  YOU have proven yourselves untrustworthy in that regard.  Kobolds are accustomed to taking heavy losses in battle.  They will win.  And they will celebrate the victory.  End this now."

Chadwick makes a DC15 WIS save = 18, success.  The Blindness condition ends and he remains in his current location.

Xymox to act

Tyr smiles on Chadwick, Kragen thinks

Xymox will hold his action, but will announce over the Companynet:

"Starker or Kragen, use the second SUMMON DEMON SCROLL.  Use it to clear a path out of here in the direction that we came.  Unless, you have any better ideas."

If Starker or Kragen do this, Xymox will use Bardic Inspiration on the caster if they don't still have it.

Swarm5 charges Trolkarl....and bounces off of the Wall of Force.  The reptilian face plants are epic.  They recoil, howling in surprise. Swarm11 advances and unleashes their slings on Trolkarl only to watch all of the stones bounce off of the invisible wall in front of him.

Swarm1 advances and engulfs Kragen.  They attack at Advantage due to Swarm Tactics with dagger attack = 11.  Missing.

The white kobold utters a short incantation and a burst of freezing air explodes on the other side of the wall from Trolkarl.  It snarls and says something to Yartol you cannot hear.

Yartol watches the attacks and advances being stopped by the wall.  His eyes narrow, "This will only delay the inevitable.  Yield!  Now!  I promise no further harm will be done.  We do not want this fight."  He then moves NW.  He casts Healing Word to recover 5 HP.

Swarm3 moves to engulf Kragen.  They attack with daggers = 13.  Missing.

Swarm4 uses slings against Starker, to hit = 12.  Missing.

Swarm7 advances and readies their slings for attack.

You hear Allindra's voice call out in the language of the kobolds.

Starker to act.

Starker casts fireball, carving out Company members.

Two kobold swarms destroyed.  One damaged.

Trolkarl to act.

Via CompanyNet <Well done Starker, however there is more pouring through this main entrance. I don't see any stopping them before we exhaust our capabilities. I can summon the Demon however i am not sure that will stop their onslaught? What are our options?>

Torlkarl yells to be heard over the wall
Yartol, speak plainly! Did you and your love act with free will in attacking us and the others, or were your minds controlled by the dragon with its magic?

Yartol responds, "That is a complex discussion that cannot be held in a fight.  We can no longer trust you.  Particularly Chadwick.  Drop arms and the kobolds will secure you.  Your safety is guaranteed.  Under no circumstances will we stand down given what has taken place."

Allindra also responds by giving some command in Draconic.

Yartol's head looks about for her, "Allindra!  No!  That is not the plan!"  He then turns to Trolkarl, "Please!  Surrender so there is no more blood shed.  This is spinning beyond control."

Swarm1 is destroyed.

Swarm10 uses their slings to attack the wall higher and higher.....

Swarm2 moves to the center door and closes it.

Swarm14 approaches the SW door and closes it.

Swarm6 mimics the actions of Swarm10, attacking the wall with slings higher and higher.....

Swarm22 appears from a hall into the great hall.

Swarm9 continues the attack on the wall with slings. Their aim is higher and higher....

Swarm8 closes a bit and continue to attack the wall with slings.  At the end of their attacks, a few stones fly over the wall.

Yartol continues to parlay with Trolkarl, "Stop the fighting.  It was not our desire to significantly hurt you.  We had to put up a show for Gryndrenur."  There is a ripple of chatter from the kobolds as the name of the dragon is uttered.  "Allindra did not use the ring until she felt we were in danger from you.  OF COURSE THE DRAGON WAS CONTROLLING US!!!"

Kragen to act.

Kragen looks as though he has a desperate, frustrated look on his face...

Yartol calls out, "We need to talk!  Send one of you to the wall of force you have put up.  The rest to the doors.  I will approach the wall of force.  The kobolds will back off."  He stops and lowers his bow, "Then we can discuss this problem we are now in."

Chadwick stalks towards the open door. If he had a tail it would be lashing. "Kragen, you are the wisest of us. You talk to the scoundrels. I'll abide your decision, whatever it is."

From above you hear Allindra's voice, "Neither of the followers of Tyr or the wizard.  I will accept the Drow or the other human warrior.  Pick one of those or die by kobold swarm."

Yartol winces a bit at Allindra's words, seemingly understanding she isn't exactly helping right now.  "Please, either Trolkarl or Xymox to represent you."
