A psionic burst erupts from the kaorti thrall. Chadwick and Kragen make DC14 INT saves. Kragen = 12 (9 + 3 for being near Chadwick), Chadwick = 4 (Nat 1). Both fail. Both are now Stunned. The Web melts away. Kragen takes 7 psychic damage. Chadwick takes 14 psychic damage.
The thrall remains in place.
The kaorti watching from the passage to the south of the energy arcing room remains behind total cover, peeking around the corner to seemingly watch Starker, Xymox and Trolkarl.

Starker takes half his movement to move as shown. Holds for Xymox and Trokarl to complete their movements/actions and then follows them into the narrow corridor known as lightning bolt alley.
Erbert moves to the west and sees the kaorti thrall that has moved into the room. His hound recognizes the threat and bounds over that way to take a magical chomp out of it. Erbert tosses a bolt of fire at the thrall, saying to the weapon wielding types, “Wake up now, no time to be slacking off, taking your naps and whatnot.” Then he backs up in the hall to roughly his current position.
Fire bolt : 29 to hit, for 10 points of fire damage to the kaorti thrall.
Mordenkainen’s faithful hound : The kaorti thrall needs to make a DC 18 Dex save or take 20 points of force damage.

Chadwick bursts out with, "GET OUTTA MY HEAD!!!" CHA save = 22, success. "Something really creepy....and squirmy just connected to my mind. I kicked it out!" He then moves through Kragen's space to position on the map with halberd drawn. He uses a Bonus Action to cast Hunter's Mark targeting Kaorti Thrall4.
A psionic pulse then erupts from Kragen affecting Chadwick, Trolkarl, Erbert and Xymox. DC14 INT saves from all, Chadwick = 21 success, Trolkarl = 11 failure, Erbert = 17 success, Xymox = 8 failure.
Trolkarl takes 4 psychic damage and is Stunned ((Missed Intellect Fortress at first, ADV die rolled = 10, failure. Damage reduced due to Resistance applied.))
A truly horrific creature emerges from the tunnel to the south. An enormous writhing mass formed of ropy black, earth-wormlike tentacles. Something like twenty feet tall. Here and there, across the surface were great puckered mouths that dripped green goo. Beneath its central mass, two or three thicker tentacles terminated in enormous black hooves, on which it stamped forward. The smell like the stench of open graves precedes it.
It extrudes its mass of writhing tentacles comprising its body into the room. The outline of it flickers and wavers, it is benefitting from a Blur spell. Two long tentacles lash outwards at Kragen. To Hit = 13 and 24. One hits the dwarf for 8 psychic damage and Kragen must make a DC 15 STR/DEX save = 19 (STR). Kragen avoids becoming Grappled by the tentacle.
Trolkarl takes 4 psychic damage and is Stunned ((Missed Intellect Fortress at first, ADV die rolled = 10, failure. Damage reduced due to Resistance applied.))

Erbert's Fire Bolt finds its mark, inflicting 10 points of Fire damage. The thrall makes a DEX save = 25 (Nat 20) with success. MFHound misses it.
Trolkarl establishes Intellect Fortress on himself.
Xymox gives the Underdark Finger to the kaorti watching from beyond the Wall of Force with little observable effect.
