Reuniting the Band

Kragen moves between Chadwick and the Kaorti thrall.  He attempts to free himself of the mental link, CHA save = 13 (with +3 for being near Chadwick), failure.

Erbert to act.

Erbert moves forward a little bit, finding a small almost alcove indentation in the rock where he can see into the room.  He sees the horrible creature in the corner, and says to Starker, "Check this out!"  He of course sends a fourth level fireball into the room to catch both of the enemies in there.  Also his faithful hound bites at the Kaorti thrall.  He molds himself into the little alcove nook and says to Starker, "Get by me to launch another in there, if you want.  Burn it with fire!"  

Fireball (spot marked on map) : 25 fire damage, DC 18 Dex save to take half.  

Mordenkainen's faithful hound bites the kaorti thrall for 17 points of force damage, DC 18 Dex save to avoid.  

Kaorti Thrall DEX save = 7, failure.  17 Force damage from MFHound.

Kaorti Thrall DEX save - 13, failure.  25 Fire damage from Fireball.  It burns, and falls.

Dark Young DEX save = 9, failure.  It burns, but not as much as your little Pyro Gnome would like.  12 Fire damage.
