“Yes, but they do lighten the mood! Let’s go, my big hulking bugbear crushers - I am ready to burn their hair off! But then it makes such a smell, whoo weee….”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Kragen to the group, while holding his finger aloft. “Appears we have a south easterly blowing wind, should we have someone scout from the south to avoid detection?” Looking at Gnueman and then to Olar.
”once we have intel in the size and position, we can form an attack plan.”
((assuming we do not have full intel the map is showing us))
Olar laughs quietly patting the scabbarded short sword hanging from his belt, “It is not size but how you make it move, as you should know.”
He looks to Hoid, “How do we proceed? I will fill in your ranks as best I can. Let’s go kill some goblins and save those boys.” Olar extends his hand with a smile.
Turning to Trolkarl “Trolkarl, if Craddick is present in the encampment, Tyr has empowered me with the ability to Silence my foes. I have to concentrate and pray for the Justice Bringer to silence my enemies. Do you think it will disable his arcane abilities?”

I should be able to get close enough to gain some added information regarding the goblin camp, if you wish.
I know a bit of the arcane arts and recall what we have seen of Craddock thus far, but I also defer to Erbert to confirm my thoughts.
Silence will stop Craddock from casting any spells that require speech. Overall, l think it would shut down everything we know about his abilities, though I am not sure that we have a full picture.
Mage armor , we have seen him use this pretty consistently
Eldritch blast, I don't recall seeing him use this directly, but we did see evidence in Luskan
However, we must also consider the potential repercussions on our side. I recall Erbert mentioning the use of Shatter, silence could be a double-edged sword in this situation. You will want to coordinate the sequence with Erbert. And of course everything like your prayers of healing would be impacted if we were inside the effect.
You huddle together forming plans for how to approach and deal with the camp below, expecting to find Craddock. The horses have been secured so they do not wander. A change in the fire attracts your attention. The fire has grown in size. Green streaks of flame now shoot upwards intermittently into the air higher than the normal bonfire flames. From here you see a group of 5 humanoids, likely bugbears around that fire. There is another there standing over what looks like two humanoids on the ground in front of the flames. The secondary fire has other, smaller humanoids around it. They are less distinct and not moving much.
After nodding to each other and confirming the plans, Erbert hunches his small little frame down and scuttles over to the first westward bush, then circles around it going to the north, making his way over to the second bush. He looks back and gives a thumbs up, then steps just to the north 5-10 feet, to where he can see 5 goblins sitting around a fire. He starts to move his hands, waving them in the shape of a circle, saying “Break!” and flicking a little piece of mica, a wave of thunderous energy centers on the goblins, resulting in a loud boom, affecting all of them. After casting the spell, in the resulting mayhem, he moves quickly back 15 feet and stays behind the bush, hopefully out of their sight.
Casts Shatter on all of the goblins : for 9 points of thunder damage, DC 13 constitution save to take half.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Erbert quietly creeps his diminutive self up to the bush opposite the wolves. He then utters a quick incantation setting off a thunderous BOOM centered on the goblins. Several take the brunt of the blast.
(( Also, note that Disadvantage due to long range with a ranged weapon and Advantage due to surprise or not being see cancel each other out. So, ranged attacks at long range with surprise or while hidden are a normally rolled attack. ))
Chadwick is holding until he is next to last. Assuming CradDick is still up he'll cast Hunter's Mark with his bonus action then shoot his crossbow. I positioned him where I think he has line of sight, but still has cover.
To hit: 16, 19 Dam: d8+2+d6 (hunter's mark) for a total of 7.
If CradDick is down before his attack he'll use a rush action to close to the captives to help shield them with his protection feat. Edit-And use Hunters mark on Bugbear 3.
Hoid is in position (80’ to The Coward, which is irrelevant to longbow, but max short range for anyone with a shortbow). Rolled 17,13 to hit. 3 damage. As discussed, Hoid will be the last.
I will evaluate use of action surge for a second shot when everyone’s actions are resolved.
Olar readies his longbow and joins Hoid on the approach. Firing alongside the dwarf he misses Craddock as he deftly dodges the arrow at the last moment!
Gneuman moves quick and low towards the brush ahead. His aim is to take cover behind the trees (bushes?), get within 30 feet of the nearest enemy and unleash his new and improved special attack at a distance.

Be sure to move your token into position now where you all intend to be when the attacks start, please.
(( Possible map issues. Working through it. I can only see a blue circle added to the map and all of your tokens huddled to the left of the map. ))

Trolkarl move and holds fire until Erbert's blast goes off.
At that point he will eldritch blast on Craddock
To hit: 17, 17
Damage: 2

Damage dice are being unkind thus far.
Kragen and Gneuman's actions.....
Olar readies his longbow and joins Hoid on the approach. Firing alongside the dwarf he misses Craddock as he deftly dodges the arrow at the last moment!
To Hit = 9, 26 (Nat 20)
