Jotrun snorts. "The exuberance of youth!," he declares. "Get in the wagon fools. We are here to save you from yourselves."
Galban drops his head, shaking it. "Jotrun, not the time for brutal dwarven honesty." He looks up to the rest of you, "But, still honesty."
Bessia looks back and gives Jotrun a quick stern-faced look. Jotrun seems taken aback by this. She turns to you, "Yes. Get in and let's get out of here." She looks to the sun anxiously and moves to help you all climb into the wagon when you are ready.
Starker and Cyrus Magnus get aboard the wagon so quickly it seems that they may not have occupied any of the intervening space-time events aling the geodesic. Only the lack of Cherenkov radiation‘s blue glow belies that explanation.
Chadwick sits down next to Bessia. Seeing her anxious mood he says, "don't worry priestess, no harm will come to you this evening", he says with complete sincerity and convention, no doubt in his face or voice.
Bessia gives Chadwick a funny look as the bench has room for two. She thanks him for his reassurance and points to the wagon bed, not moving to allow him room. After this she gives Galban a look and he tries to suppress a grin.
if room allows, Kragen will get onto the wagon, ensuring all others are loaded. If full, Kragen walks alongside.
To the Priestess, Jotrun, and Glaban. “Thank you for your concern Priestess, we have encountered evil in this place. We were unable to save the villagers as good Hoid has mentioned.” Lowers his gaze in shame.
During the return back to shalecliff, with the assistance of the others, Kragen proceeds to inform the Shalecliff leaders of the encounter.
”finding Aidan in grave condition without his patrol”
”the approach and finding a battalion of Orcs”
”watchers in the night!” Believed to be aboritions
”cavern beneath the manor ruins and battle for the lives against a wyrmling dragon”
”rescue of Henilen and Beggler”
”search of the cavern and then attempt to cleanse the tower of evil”
”unfortunately, Tyr has not blessed us with the ability to gain access”, “the evil of this place remains!”
You are all able to pile into the wagon and Galban drives you back north at the same fast pace. It is a bit of a rough ride until you find your previous camp with Henilen, Belgger, Aadan and another wagon with three of the town guards. You see that they have collected the dead from Aadan's patrol in the other wagon. "The horses are tired," Galban states. "Let's give them some water and a short period to rest. We will continue to move north." More quietly to those in his wagon, "This is not yet far enough away for my liking."
Bessia nods in agreement. Jotrun "humphs" in agreement. Looking to each of you, "Nothing is spoken of this tonight." He looks each of you in the eye, "We will discuss once we are returned to Shalecliff."
After resting for a short time, Galban intends to drive north to Shalecliff tonight. You should be able to make it shortly after nightfall.
Hoid, loud enough that all in the wagon can hear, “Jotrun, your words of admonishment are well deserved. Few in this group have your dwarven sensibilities, perhaps even those it should come naturally to.”
The wagon ride back to Shalecliff is quiet. Light from the city walls is spotted shortly after dark. Galban drops you off at the Hallowed Tree. “Get rest. We can meet at Jotrun’s in the morning,” he says with a small smile.
The inn keeper has rooms for you. He is dismayed upon seeing Starker. “I cannot get rid of these wizards…” you hear him mumble. He walks you up to your rooms. He looks at the door of a room as you walk by and shakes his lowered head as he leads you to each of your rooms.
(( Everyone levels up to 4th level. Plan to meet at Jotrun’s when you are ready. ))
Starker tells the innkeeper. “I might be able to persuade my colleague to leave your fine establishment. Can you let me in his room?” If innkeeper says ’no’ ir ge can not open the door, Starker knocks on door the innkeeper glanced at. “Arnak Binabintarfar? Are you in there? It is I, Starker of Waterdeep, Charletin‘s student. Can I be of any assistance?”
The inn keeper stops short at Starker's comment. He looks at him and has a facial tic with his left eye squinting twice. "You can......help me with this?," he seems incredulous. "I cannot open the door. I have tried for the past month," he says pointing to the one he shook his head while walking by. "Please do what you can."
You knock and receive no answer. After asking for Arnak the innkeeper gets visibly upset, "Are you just poking mullock at me?! Arnak lives in his tower. This is some fool wizard from Luskan. Yardo, or something like that." He stomps off down the hall to show the rest of you your rooms.
Starker shrugs (Cyrus Magnus, on Starker’s suddenly moving right shoulder, gives Starker a swat on the head with a paw to learn him some manners) and heads to bed.
Kragen takes time in his room to reflect and pray. After getting much needed rest, awakens, prays for 30 minutes and heads to Jotruns with the group for the meeting with Galban, Jotrun and Bessia.

Hoid will also get into the wagon, uncertain about what principles dictate the location of Starker

Hmmmm. Starker calls through the door “Yardo? Do you need any assistance? It is Starker, a fellow mage.”
*Silence*
Starker tries to open the door.
Any sign of Iolo?
The door is locked. It does not budge.
Iolo was not seen in the Hallowed Tree.
Trolkarl goes directly his room after cleaning. Intentions on getting sleep in a real bed and getting to Jutrun”s early.
