Starker enlists the aid of a wizard visiting the festival. After introductions are made she is willing to teach him the spell. An afternoon is spent learning and transcribing. Materials and tutelage fees total 100gp..
The gloves are easily found for 5sp. The tweezers take some time to arrange. The head smith is able to construct a small pair of tweezers from iron that should work. He charges 5gp for this due to the detail and precision.
Starker: Friends, do any of you happen to have about yourselves a pearl of surpassing excellence I might borroe whenever I am to cast Identify? It will not be consumed when I use it, so I would be able to give it back to you afterwards.
No pearls of surpassing excellence or otherwise. Sorry. But I would happily contribute if we need to buy it.
Trolkarl will encourage Gohumbee to enjoy the festival and try the tournament contests. Trolkarl will cheer all the participants and enjoy the games.
The only open item I can think to address before leaving is to directly ask Lord Ullar about the mine. I know we asked his son. But I think he was in awe of Wayfinder, so it was never really appropriate. However, if we can get a moment with him to talk and not kill the festival vibe, I would like to ask if he has heard of this place or its history. And if not, who he might go to for information about it.

I'm happy to contribute anything if needed as well. Gneuman doesn't have much in the way of expenses.
The final night celebration of Harvesttide is a religious ceremony dedicated to Sylvanus. You are all invited as honored guests to attend, but are not expected to participate. There is singing and dancing. Flowers decorate a dais with two large bonfires on each side illuminating the area. At the peak of the celebration, Ullar reveals Wayfinder. A hush falls over the crowd and a new chant begins. This one seems as though it is older somehow, as if passed through generations of worshippers. The sword is held high by a Druid as the warriors all pass before him and give obeisance to the sword. At the end of the procession is Olar. He approaches and offers his respect and honor. A flare erupts from Wayfinder and an arc of lightning dances from its hilt to Olar's hand. He stands and his arm reaches to the sword, grasping the hilt securely. The Druid releases the sword into his grip. Olar holds the sword high, turning to the gathered worshippers. His eyes glow blue-white and arcs of lighting dance across his skin. A single beam of Selûne's light breaks through the cloud obscuring her to bathe Olar in its soft glow. A great cheer erupts from the crowd seemingly breaking the moment and Olar seems to start from the roar. A look of surprise is on his face as he looks down to see the sword held inverted with both hands on the hilt. He then looks to his father and the Druid. Both offer him a bow of honor.
Starker turns away from the ceremony when it ends muttering quietly to Cyrus in Draconic “Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical druidic ceremony” and hands Cyrus a dried mango marked with the number 1. He watches Cyrus for a moment and then makes a note in his notebook, seemingly satisfied.
Kragen, smiles in satisfaction knowing that he and his brave companions, have contributed to bringing more balance to Faerun, and vanquishing those that would do wrong. Muttering a silent Prayer to the Justice Bringer, “May his sword be swift and his soul be stout!” takes a long draw from his mug of stout and bellows a loud cheer with the others!
The morning following the ceremony comes and finds many camps in the progress of breaking down. Tents are struck and loaded onto wagons and carts. Fare-the-wells are being delivered amongst the attendees. A feeling of happiness and peace seems to be in the air.
Olar is seen passing through the people. Hand shakes and shoulder pats are offered by all to him. He seems different to you today as well. There is something new in his gaze that belies an inner fire that has ignited. Time will only tell if he channels it, or, it consumes him.
Ullar and his elders have had many discussions with your group since returning with the sword. It is agreed that additional patrols will pass through Rastagna's Valley to ensure no new malevolence settles into that area. None of the advisors have any knowledge to share on the Deep Wave Mine. There are many such dwarven communities in the mountains, like Granitestead.
Chadwick is able to locate an interested party to purchase Ethelred's Painting. They are willing to offer 100gp for it.
Is it a clue planted by our illustrious GameMaster? Seems an odd find, especially for a magic item. Did he really spin the magic item wheel and it land on this item? Why not a more mundane pick?? Keep it.
As for the painting. I need more convincing than "the DM put it in the world for a purpose" as a reason to hold on to it. That is pretty meta. But if we want to keep it on principle of magic is rare and we dont want to get rid of any of it, fine.
I do think the offers were better in Shalecliff. But not so much that I would rather be without Identify capability for the difference. Trolkarl would be happy to haggle with the potential buyer if it doesn't slow matters down to try to approach something closer to the better deals we had earlier.
The advisor asks around and comes up with a few offers:
Starker is all for heading to Shalecliff. He finishes placing a small cairn of rocks over some of Cyrus’ leavings, brushes off his gloves and removes them, saying, “Let’s go.”
Shalecliff is a solid day's ride at a good pace. But, you arrive to the town walls at nightfall and find familiar lodgings at the Hallowed Tree Inn. The innkeeper is less surly than usual at seeing you. Jotrun's is already busy. Gohumbee sees to getting the mounts stabled at the livery and you are free to pursue you own goals.

Gneuman would like to spend some time pursuing the following:
1) Purchase a potion of healing.
2) Enquire about the price of a decent short bow (gnome sized) and arrows.
3) Gneuman will look for a proper place of worship/study of his deity, Gaerdahl Ironhand.
Starker will head off to Arnak’s to tell him of our adventures and see if he has any insights or pearls of wisdom or pearls of pearl to share. Anyone who cares to join is welcome.

We could see if they would be interested in purchasing Ethelreds painting.

I think we can do better than that. Let's hold on to it until we get to Shalecliff and see if we can get a better offer.
That is about the price we were offered before. Just enough to get a good quality pearl. I say sell it and move on.
Is it a clue planted by our illustrious GameMaster? Seems an odd find, especially for a magic item. Did he really spin the magic item wheel and it land on this item? Why not a more mundane pick?? Keep it.
shall we gather our gear and head for Shalecliff?
I am all for moving along to Shalecliff.

I do think that sailors in a city would be willing to pay a higher price.
For now let's move into the Shalecliff.

Shalecliff Ho!

Chadwick will check in with the priestess to see how the reconstruction is going and people are faring since the attack. He'll also donate 10gp.
Assuming the smithy is retired for the evening so Chadwick will inquire tomorrow about getting a silvered Lucien hammer.
Any sign or word of Iolo?
Kragen visits the temple and the Priestess, spends time in Prayer and thought.
donates 214 cp and 100 sp to the temple
Gives 100gp to Mage Starker for the investment in the Pearl.
when open, visits with Haney at the smithy and Jotrun inquesting about the Stonejaw brothers.
