Chadwick searches and finds no traps. He slides the sarcophagus lid off to reveal a withered corpse of a half-elf woman wearing rotted silk robes. She has jewels on her and a courtesan’s mask.
Kragen enters the foul chamber with Chadwick, peers at these poor souls and pulls his holy water from his belt. Then begins prayers and splashing small droplets of Holy Water about the first corpse and sarcophagus. Saying prayers of rest and peace, invoking Tyr’s name.
Kragen frowns as the Holy Water hisses and vaporizes on contact, mumbles something about fell undead.
Then turns to Chadwick and shrugs "Its hard to impart any wisdom at this age, i am afraid we will have to manage him like a child in a candy store from here out."
Kragen places his hand on Sir Chadwicks shoulder and mutters a blessing to Tyr.
Resistance Cantrip - Necrotic Damage
Once he is done with the blessing "I intend to wait to see what we encounter before i choose my next spell. I fear this brings us to the party at hand." nods to the center sarcophagus.
Starker:”There is a rare scroll I have been husbanding for use when we next encounter an undead that would otherwise be beyond our abilities. Within 5 feet of the caster, it provides near immunity from the malfeasance of the undead for five minutes. I do not ever intend to be within 5 feet of such a creature. Perhaps one of our frontline battlers might like to use it, if they are able?”
<scroll of protection from undead>
“if noone else can use it, then I suppose I can stand close behind Chadwick and Yartol, for instance, as they remonstrate with the undead. I might cast Mirror Image to hopefully try to survive a few seconds longer.”
”Thoughts, colleagues? I suggest we not use it unless and until we meet with the lich or proto-lich.”
Chadwick finds no traps. He slides the sarcophagus lid off easily, just like the others. Inside he finds a human male corpse wearing fine velvet robes that are decayed. A pocket contains a jewel encrusted flask of iron with sigils and runes carved all over it. The stopper is jade. Inside can be seen more runes and symbols. A diadem of gold set with a diamond rests on his chest. It is engraved with the name Illiandil in elvish script. In one hand is a short steel rod about 10” long. One end is flattened into a disc, the other end has four, squared flanges set equidistant apart with blunt, jagged edging to each flange.

“That’s a good idea Starker, might be best if I are Chadwick holds it. Would you mind if I look at it and determine if I can use it?”
holds his hand out for the scroll. Assuming Starker hands it over, inspects and determines if he can use it.
Starker:”Colleague Kragen, please be careful of yourself with the scroll. In addition to healing and resurrecting us during battle, we need you to instruct me on propriety and why we should be inefficient and inelegant in favor of your esthetic choices.
“Let us put our expertise to work examining this corpse with Illiandal’s accoutrement. I will start by detecting magic on the contents of this sarcophagus, especially the flask and the rod. Then I will investigate.”

Does Kragen receive any blessed healer bonus?

Starker:”Unless someone objects, I will attempt to retrieve the treasure.”
Starker rituals up Jievs and, if noone objects during the 10 minute ritual, has him take the treasure from the open sarcophagus.
Kragen heals 3HP from his Blessed Healer ability.
The Motivational Speech, Spirit Guardians and Warding Bond spells expire. Jeeves lifts the jewels from the two corpses without incident.
Kragen’s holy water hisses and pops like droplets of water in a hot pan as it lands on the corpse and sarcophagus to the right.
Chadwick glares over at Starker "I said we would discuss the morals of grave robbing after the evil is vanquish." He looks over to Kragen for support.
After Kragen finishes tinkling on the corpses he moved to the big one. "Kragen, you want to throw a bless on us before I pop this open?"
After Kragen/the party casts whatever prep spells they want Chadwick will check for traps, then try and open it.

Kragen is able to use the scroll,
I have it enters into my inventory

The flask radiates magic, Necromancy.
The short rod is mundane.
Nothing else radiates magic.
Starker:”I am, frankly, terrified of this flask. Colleagues, do you have any suggestions as to how to proceed?”
Does Starker recall having seen anything that might fit in the area defined by the four prongs at the end of the staff?
(sending int roll in case that’s the right stat) 15
No. But, it does resemble four keys conjoined along a sigle axis.
